Kiiara hits the studio with Jim Jonsin for debut album

Kiiara has enlisted Jim Jonsin for her upcoming debut album.

“There’s def a special place in heaven for legends who believe in new artists. thank u for helping me through my emotions @IamJimJonsin,” the singer-songwriter tweeted on Thursday (December 01, 2016).

Jonsin’s recent production credits include “Excuse Me” (A$AP Rocky), “Gone” (Machine Gun Kelly), “Promises” (Wiz Khalifa), “Go Hard” (Kevin Gates), “Pay Attention” (Big K.R.I.T.) and “Murda Something” (A$AP Rock).

His extensive resume boasts further works with Beyonce (“Sweet Dreams”), Kelly Rowland (“Motivation”), Michelle Williams (“The Greatest”), Brandy (“No Such Thing as Too Late”), Shakira (“Rabiosa”) and Usher (“Lemme See”).

Meanwhile, Kiiara is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring current promotional single “Dopemang” – in 2017 via Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Jason Evigan (David Guetta, Ella Eyre), Christopher “CJ” Baran (Melanie Martinez, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Bonnie McKee (Olly Murs, Kylie Minogue).

Jetta is a British singer-songwriter known for her singles “Start a Riot,” “Feels Like Coming Home,” and the Pharrell Williams-produced “Crescendo.”

The Liverpool-born artist has also worked with a multitude of hitmakers including Toby Gad, Lindy Robbins, Jim Jonsin, Richard Stannard, Adam Argyle, Leah Haywood, Daniel Pringle, Utters, Jake Gosling, Chris Leonard, Rodney Jerkins, Mojam, Wayne Hector, Francis “Eg” White, and Busbee.

On the songwriting front, Jetta has co-penned songs for fellow recording artists including Neon Jungle (“Fool Me”), Ashley Roberts (“Clockwork”), Sigma (“Slow Down”), and Medina (“We Survive”).

Her latest single “Take it Easy” – which was co-written by Jetta along with regular collaborators Jim Eliot and Mima Stilwell – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Casablanca Records.

Ariana Grande has confirmed the title for her upcoming third album.

The singer-songwriter-actress christened her next studio collection “Dangerous Woman” and will release it later this year through Republic Records.

Lead single “Focus” – now available for download via iTunes – was helmed by Savan Kotecha (Fifth Harmony), Peter Svensson (Carly Rae Jepsen), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Tori Kelly) and Max Martin (Katy Perry).

The follow-up to 2014’s “My Everything” reportedly delivers additional alliances with Charlie Puth (Fergie, Trey Songz), Jim Jonsin (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland) and Carmen Reece (Nathan Sykes, Samantha Jade).

Ariana Grande has unwrapped the artwork for her new single.

“Focus” – available for download from October 30 – marks the first promotional cut from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming third album “Moonlight.”

The track was collectively helmed by Savan Kotecha (Tori Kelly, Britney Spears), Peter Svensson (Avril Lavigne, Carly Rae Jepsen), Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ellie Goulding, Demi Lovato) and Max Martin (Tinashe, Kelly Clarkson).

As mentioned in earlier posts, “Moonlight” is scheduled to be released later this year through Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The keenly-awaited LP reportedly features further productions and songwriting contributions from Tommy Brown (Chris Brown), Victoria Monet (Jordin Sparks), Jim Jonsin (Kelly Rowland) and Carmen Reece (Teyana Taylor).

Grande’s last studio collection, 2014’s “My Everything,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned international hit singles including “Problem,” “Break Free” and “Love Me Harder.”

The track was written by Grande along with regular collaborators Savan Kotecha (Nick Jonas, Justin Bieber), Peter Svensson (Carly Rae Jepsen, The Weeknd) and Ilya “KnocDown” Salmanzadeh (Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly).

Ariana Grande has announced the title of her third studio album.

The singer and songwriter christened her next studio collection “Moonlight” and will release it later this year under Republic Records.

“Moonlight” serves as the follow-up to 2014’s “My Everything,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Problem,” “Break Free,” “Love Me Harder” and “One Last Time.”

The highly-anticipated project is executive-produced by Scooter Braun, whose also overseeing the next projects by Tori Kelly [Capitol Records], Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records] and Justin Bieber [Island Records].

Album songwriters and producers are Tommy Brown (Nas, Jennifer Lopez), Victoria Monet (Jasmine V, Chris Brown), Jim Jonsin (Usher, Kelly Rowland) and Carmen Reece (Nathan Sykes, Teyana Taylor).

Teedra Moses has announced the details for her sophomore album.

The singer/songwriter christened her next studio collection “Cognac & Conversation” and will release it on June 23.

Lead single “Get it Right” is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets in partnership with Shanachie Records.

The keenly-awaited project also features the Rick Ross-assisted “All I Ever Wanted,” co-written and produced by Thaddeus Dixon.

Moses’ debut album, 2004’s “Complex Simplicity,” peaked to number twenty on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned singles including “Be Your Girl” and “You’ll Never Find (A Better Woman).”

On the songwriting front, Moses penned songs for Christina Milian (“Dip it Low”), Mary J. Blige (“So Lady”), Teairra Mari (“Get Up on Ya Gangsta”), Trina (“Here We Go”) and Macy Gray (“Finally Made Me Happy”).

She also collaborated with top musicians including Raphael Saadiq (Erykah Badu, Whitney Houston), Jim Jonsin (Ariana Grande, John Legend), Pharrell Williams (Usher, Justin Timberlake) and Ne-Yo (Beyonce, Kelly Rowland).

Ariana Grande has worked on new material with Jim Jonsin and Danny Morris.

“This joint we just did is outta here… Daaaaaaam… @iamjimjonsin @nikoshouse #ArianaGrandeSessions” Morris posted to his Instagram account.

It is yet to be known whether the session is intended for a future re-release of Grande’s sophomore collection “My Everything” or a brand new third album.

Morris and Jonsin have collectively teamed with artists including Beyonce [Columbia Records], Usher [RCA Records], Wiz Khalifa [Atlantic Records] and Nicole Scherzinger [Epic Records].

Furthermore, the songwriting and production duo are responsible for Kelly Rowland’s “Motivation” [Republic Records], Mary J. Blige’s “Mr. Wrong” [Geffen Records] and Brandy’s “No Such Thing as Too Late” [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, Grande recently announced “One Last Time” as her next promotional single. The track follows the Weeknd-assisted “Love Me Harder,” which peaked to number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

She also contributed to record producer and songwriter Cashmere Cat’s upcoming debut album. The Norwegian hitmaker – born Magnus Høiberg – previously collaborated with Grande on fan favorite “Be My Baby.”

Keri Hilson hits the studio with Benny Cassette

Keri Hilson has collaborated on new material with Benny Cassette.

There’s been no word on what the pair worked on last night, or whether the session was intended for a future Cassette release or Hilson’s third album.

Cassette – born Benedetto Rotondi – is an American producer, rapper, singer, and songwriter. Signed to Kanye West’s Very GOOD Beats as a producer and songwriter since 2013, he worked on West’s “Yeezus” album.

He also contributed to the next releases by Mary Lambert [Capitol Records], Elle Varner [RCA Records] and Sevyn Streeter [Atlantic Records].

Hilson, meanwhile, is currently putting the final touches on her upcoming third studio collection under Mosley Music Group / Interscope Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly features further collaborations with Timbaland (Aaliyah, Justin Timberlake), Ne-Yo (Brandy, Celine Dion), Danja (Ciara, Luke James) and Jim Jonsin (Usher, Kelly Rowland).

Hilson’s last studio album, 2010’s “No Boys Allowed,” peaked at number eleven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Pretty Girl Rock,” “One Night Stand” and “Lose Control.”
