Vance Joy premieres music video for new single “We’re Going Home”

Vance Joy has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for “We’re Going Home” was posted to the Australian singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Tuesday (January 10, 2018).

The track was written by Vance Joy (real name James Keogh) alongside Dan Wilson, whose resume boasts additional works with John Legend (“You and I”), Adele (“Somebody Like You”), Noah Cyrus (“Almost Famous”), LeAnn Rimes (“Borrowed”), The Weeknd (“Sidewalks”) and Halsey (“Alone”).

Joy’s upcoming sophomore studio collection “Nation of Two” – featuring previous promotional single “Lay It On Me” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Vance Joy releases new promotional single “Like Gold”

Australian singer/songwriter James Keogh, professionally known as Vance Joy, has released his new promotional single online.

“Like Gold” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Dan Wilson, whose other credits include Adele’s “Someone Like You,” The John Legend’s “You & I,” The Weeknd’s “Sidewalks,” Halsey’s “Alone,” LeAnn Rimes’ “Borrowed,” Niall Horan’s “Since We’re All Alone,” Pink’s “The Great Escape,” and Noah Cyrus’ “Almost Famous.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Joy’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring previous promotional single “Lay it On Me” – is scheduled to arrive early next year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Vance Joy announces new single “Lay it On Me”

Vance Joy has announced the details for his new single.

The Australian singer/songwriter – born James Gabriel Keogh – christened “Lay it On Me” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming sophomore album under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The track was written by Vance Joy alongside American Grammy nominated multi-platinum musician Dave Bassett, whose credits also include Elle King’s “Ex’s & Oh’s,” Shinedown’s “Second Chance,” Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” Daughtry’s “Torch,” and Halestorm’s “Love Bites (So Do I).”

Other songwriters expected to appear on the follow-up to 2014’s “Dream Your Life Away” are Ross Golan (Charlie Puth), Jin Jin (RAYE), Ammar Malik (Shawn Mendes), Ryn Weaver (Jojo), Danny Parker (Jessie Ware), Charli XCX (Ricky Reed), Justin Tranter (Nick Jonas) and Julia Michaels (Labrinth).

On the production front, Joy has reportedly worked with Jason Evigan (Andy Grammer), Cashmere Cat (Kacy Hill), Nolan Lambroza (Jason Derulo), Teddy Geiger (Christina Aguilera), Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), Happy Perez (Demi Lovato) and Justin Parker (Conrad Sewell).

Vance Joy premieres “Straight into Your Arms” music video

Vance Joy has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The Australian singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Straight into Your Arms” to his YouTube channel on Wednesday (March 02, 2016).

Production duties on “Straight into Your Arms” were handled by Benny Blanco and Stargate, who are also behind Rihanna’s “Diamonds” [Def Jam], Jessie J’s “Thunder” [Republic] and Lea Michele’s “Cannonball” [Columbia].

Joy’s debut album “Dream Your Life Away” – featuring previous singles “Riptide,” “Mess is Mine,” “First Time,” “Georgia” and “Fire and the Flood” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Atlantic Records.

His second LP reportedly boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Jason Evigan, Ryn Weaver, Cashmere Cat, Jin Jin, Ammar Malik, Sir Nolan, Charli XCX, Danny Parker, Julia Michaels, Ross Golan, and Happy Perez.
