Mae Muller enlists Jimmy Napes for new single “Anticlimax”

Mae Muller has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter dubbed “Anticlimax” as her next promotional cut and will release it on May 24 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written and produced by Jimmy Napes, who is also responsible for Tori Kelly’s “Change Your Mind,” Sam Smith’s “Dancing with a Stranger,” Alicia Keys’s “Hallelujah,” Mary J. Blige’s “When You’re Gone,” Lianne La Havas’s “Wonderful,” Jessie Ware’s “Pieces,” and Ray BLK’s “Doing Me.”

Meanwhile, Muller’s upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

The still-untitled collection yields additional productions and songwriting contributions from Two Inch Punch, Naughty Boy, Caroline Ailin, Ed Thomas, Bastian Langebaek, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Max Wolfgang, Lostboy, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Joe Rubel, Marlon Roudette, and Invisible Men.

Mabel pushes back release date for debut album “High Expectations”

Swedish-British singer and songwriter Mabel has pushed back the released date for her upcoming debut studio collection, “High Expectations,” from July 12 to August 2 via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Current promotional single “Don’t Call Me Up” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Kamille and produced by Steve Mac – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The album also features contributions from Marlon Roudette (Zara Larsson, Claudia Valentina), Jordan Riley (Ella Henderson, Nina Nesbitt), Tre Jean-Marie (Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith), Joel Compass (Tinashe, FKA twigs), Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Craig David) and Jimmy Napes (Normani, Sam Smith).

Sam Smith hits the studio with Amy Allen, Two Inch Punch

Sam Smith has recorded new music with Amy Allen and Two Inch Punch.

Born Benjamin Ash, Two Inch Punch previously co-wrote and produced Sam Smith’s “Money on My Mind,” which topped the UK Singles Chart in 2014. The pair also worked on two additional songs – “Life Support” and “Safe With Me.”

Meanwhile, Allen is responsible for co-writing Fletcher’s “Undrunk,” Shawn Mendes’s “When You’re Ready,” Halsey’s “Without Me,” Matoma’s “Losing It Over You,” Selena Gomez’s “Back to You,” and Dinah Jane’s “Pressure.”

Smith’s current single “Dancing With a Stranger” (featuring Normani) – which was produced by regular collaborators Jimmy Napes alongside Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen of Stargate – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

His upcoming third album and follow-up to 2017’s “The Thrill of It All” – featuring further productions and songwriting contributions from Kamille and Steve Mac – is expected to arrive later this year via Capitol Records.

Rita Ora has released her new promotional single online.

“Only Want You” – featuring 6LACK – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Ali Tamposi (Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson), Emily Warren (Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes), Carl Rosen (Marshmello, Selena Gomez), Andrew Watt (Kygo, Justin Bieber) and Louis Bell (Halsey, Camila Cabello).

Ora’s latest album under Atlantic Records, “Phoenix,” features further contributions from Stargate (“Soul Survivor”), Jimmy Napes (“Velvet Room”), Digital Farm Animals (“Falling to Pieces”), Julian Bunetta (“Cashmere”), Rudimental (“Summer Love”) and John “JRY” Ryan (“First Time High”).

British singer/songwriter Sarah McLaughlin, known by her stage name Bishop Briggs, has drafted Jin Jin and Jimmy Napes for a new collaboration.

Jin Jin’s songwriting resume boasts works with Jess Glynne (“No One”), Rita Ora (“Proud”), Jax Jones (“You Don’t Know Me”), Yebba Smith (“Evergreen”), Raye (“Decline”), Little Mix (“Grown”), Nina Nesbitt (“Love Letter”), Paloma Faith (“Lullaby”) and Sabrina Carpenter (“Alien”).

Meanwhile, Napes is responsible for co-writing and producing Tori Kelly’s “Change Your Mind,” Sam Smith’s “Dancing with a Stranger,” Alicia Keys’s “Hallelujah,” Mary J. Blige’s “When You’re Gone,” Lianne La Havas’s “Wonderful,” Jessie Ware’s “Pieces,” and Ray BLK’s “Doing Me.”

Briggs’ upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Teleport Records in partnership with Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The British record producer and songwriter (born Shahid Khan) has previously worked with Emeli Sande (“Heaven”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Mary J. Blige (“Pick Me Up”), Marlon Roudette (“Anti Hero”), Tanika Bailey (“Runaway”) and Cheryl Cole (“Craziest Things”).

Meanwhile, Muller’s current singles “Leave It Out” and “Flaws” – which were helmed by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of UK songwriting and production duo Future Cut – are now available via all digital streaming outlets.

“Leave it Out” (co-written by Danny Shah) and “Flaws” (co-written by Elizabeth “Lowell” Boland) are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on both singles were handled by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of Future Cut, who are also responsible for singles including “Smile” (Lily Allen), “Black Heart” (Stooshe), “Please Don’t Let Me Go” (Olly Murs), “Gypsy” (Shakira), and “How Ya Doing?” (Little Mix).

Meanwhile, Muller is expected to release her upcoming project and follow-up to 2018’s “Frankly” later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.
