Mack Wilds unleashes “Love in the 90z” music video

Mack Wilds has unleashed the music video for his new single online.

The actor-singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Love in the 90z” to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (January 12, 2016).

Production duties on ‘Love in the 90z” were collectively helmed by Salaam Remi (Ne-Yo, Leona Lewis), Teddy Riley (Amerie, Michael Jackson), James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu), and Scott Storch (Beyonce, Trey Songz).

The track – now available for download via iTunes – is also slotted for inclusion on Wilds’ upcoming sophomore album, which will hit stores later this year through Louder Than Life Records and Epic Records.

Other musicians backing Wilds on the follow-up to 2013’s “New York: A Love Story” are Shea Taylor (Rihanna, Janet Jackson), Darhyl “DJ” Camper (John Legend, Tamar Braxton), and Key Wane (Jhene Aiko, Ariana Grande).

Mack Wilds has debuted his new single online.

The actor, singer, and songwriter posted the audio clip for “Love in the 90z” to his Vevo channel on Tuesday (November 24, 2015).

Production duties on ‘Love in the 90z” were collectively helmed by Salaam Remi (Usher, Amy Winehouse), Teddy Riley (Amerie, Michael Jackson), James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, Mariah Carey) and Scott Storch (Chris Brown, Janet Jackson).

The track – now available for download via iTunes – is also slotted for inclusion on Wilds’ upcoming sophomore album, which will hit stores and digital outlets next year through Louder Than Life Records and Epic Records.

Elijah Blake releases debut album “Shadows & Diamonds”

Elijah Blake has released his debut album online.

“Shadows & Diamonds” – featuring lead single “I Just Wanna” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Def Jam Recordings.

Album producers include Salaam Remi (Craig David, Leona Lewis), James Poyser (Mariah Carey, Erykah Badu), Happy Perez (Miguel, Frank Ocean) and Christopher “C4” Umana (Kelly Rowland, Teyana Taylor).

On the songwriting front, Blake – real name Sean Fenton – is known for co-penning Usher’s “Climax” [RCA Records], Ciara’s “DUI” [Epic Records] and Keyshia Cole’s “Enough of No Love” [Interscope Records].

His extensive resume includes further works with Rihanna [Roc Nation], Elle Varner [RCA Records], Jordin Sparks [Larger Than Life], Trey Songz [Atlantic Records] and Justin Bieber [Island Records].

Kandace Springs has worked with Carmen Reece for her debut album.

Reece is known for co-writing Ariana Grande’s “Almost is Never Enough” [Republic Records], Teyana Taylor’s “Put Your Love On” [Def Jam Recordings] and Michelle Williams’ “Say Yes” f/ Beyonce & Kelly Rowland [eOne Music].

Her resume also includes works for Samantha Jade [Sony Music Entertainment Australia], Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Zendaya [Hollywood Records] and Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records].

Meanwhile, Springs’ first studio collection will be released later this year via SRP Records in partnership with Capitol Records and Black Note Records. The still-untitled project is executive produced by Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken.

On the songwriting and production front, the still-untitled project features further contributions from Rodney Jerkins, Andrea Martin, James Poyser, Stacy Barthe, Andre Harris, Dan Wilson, Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge and Jack Splash.

Kandace Springs has hinted at a new collaboration with Rodney Jerkins.

“Bout to head into the studio with @RodneyJerkins” the singer, songwriter and pianist tweeted on Wednesday (February 25, 2015).

Jerkins recently served as executive producer for Mary J. Blige’s latest album “The London Session,” which is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Universal Music Group imprint Capitol Records.

His extensive resume also includes works for Mariah Carey [Epic Records], Toni Braxton [Motown Records], Sia [RCA Records], Rihanna [SRP Records], Ariana Grande [Republic Records] and Tori Kelly [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, Springs is expected to release her debut album later this year via SRP Records in partnership with Blue Note Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project will be prominently helmed New York-based songwriting and production duo Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken.

Other songwriters and producers backing Springs on the still-untitled project are Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge, Jack Splash, Stacy Barthe, Andre Harris, James “Malay” Ho, Dan Wilson, Andrea Martin and James Poyser.

Kandace Springs has released a new music video online.

The singer, songwriter and pianist posted the Julie Vastola-directed clip for “West Coast” to her Vevo channel on Monday (January 12, 2015).

“West Coast” was co-written by Springs along with Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Warren “Oak” Felder, Steve “Aceface” Mostyn and Ronald “Flip” Colson.

The track appears on the artist’s self-titled EP, which is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with SRP Records and Blue Note Records.

Springs’ full-length debut album will hit stores and digital outlets later this year. As mentioned in previous posts, the still-untitled LP is executive produced by songwriting and production duo Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken.

Other album contributors are James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu), Dan Wilson (Adele, John Legend), Andre Harris (Usher, Mariah Carey), Jack Splash (Solange, Alicia Keys) and Brandon “B.A.M.” Hodge (Ne-Yo, Chris Brown).

Mack Wilds has released the music video for his new single online.

“Don’t Turn Me Down” is lifted from the R&B singer/songwriter’s debut album, “New York: A Love Story,” out now via Larger Than Life Records.

The track was co-written by Rico Love, whose credits include Melanie Fiona’s “4 AM” [Republic Records], Sean Paul’s “Body” [Atlantic Records] and Brandy’s “Hardly Breathing” [Chameleon Entertainment / RCA Records].

Production duties were handled by Salaam Remi, who is also responsible for Jazmine Sullivan’s “Dumb” [RCA Records], Liam Bailey’s “On My Mind” [Flying Buddha Records] and James Arthur’s “New Tattoo” [Syco Music].

“New York: A Love Story” – which was Grammy Nominated for Best Urban Contemporary Album – also features singles “My Crib” and “Own It.”

Other album contributors include James Fauntleroy (Usher, Leona Lewis), Roosevelt “Bink” Harrell (Mario, John Legend), DJ Premier (Christina Aguilera, Laura Izibor) and James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Mariah Carey).
