Daya announces new promotional single details

Daya has announced the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter (born Grace Martine Tandon) christened “New” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it on October 12 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Troye Sivan, Selena Gomez), James Newman (Kesha, Hailee Steinfeld), Nolan “Sir Nolan” Lambroza (Rita Ora, Nick Jonas) and Stargate (Beyonce, Christina Milian).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Daya’s forthcoming second studio collection is expected to arrive early next year via ARTBEATZ Entertainment / Sony Music Red.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Sit Still, Look Pretty” reportedly boasts additional contributions from Toby Gad (Pixie Lott, Natasha Bedingfield), Sasha Sloan (Alma, Camila Cabello), Deputy (Raye, Mack Wilds), Chloe Angelides (Lea Michele, Demi Lovato) and Lukas “Lulou” Loules (Tinashe, Era Istrefi).

Justine Skye teams up with Jeremih for new single “Back for Me”

American singer/songwriter Justine Skye has teamed up with Jeremih for her new promotional single “Back for More,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Christian “Hitmaka” Ward and Floyd Bentley, “Back for More” – which samples Nelly’s “Flap Your Wings” – was co-written by Jason Derulo alongside Lyrica Anderson (Beyonce), Austin Owens (Bryson Tiller), Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee (Sevyn Streeter) and Arin Ray (Chris Brown).

Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring the Chris Loco & Moon Willis-produced “U Don’t Know” and The-Dream-assisted “Flames” – is expected to arrive later this year via Roc Nation Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with The Family (Jojo), Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Madi Diaz), Fred Ball (Alicia Keys), Mick Schultz (Zendaya), Deputy (Mack Wilds), James Fauntleroy (Beyonce), Warren “Oak” Felder (Demi Lovato) and GRADES (Natalie La Rose).

Singer, songwriter, and actor Mack Wilds has liberated his new project online.

“AfterHours” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Lead promotional “Explore” was co-written by Cameron Wallace, whose previous credits include Sevyn Streeter’s “Fallen,” Ciara’s “Keep on Looking,” Christina Milian’s “Video Model,” and Beyonce’s “Upgrade U.”

Other musicians backing Wilds on the follow-up to 2013’s “New York: A Love Story” are Deputy (“Senses”), Kevin Garrett (“Crash”), D’Mile (“Go Crazy”), The MeKanics (“Stingy”), Darnell Shawn (“Choose”), Key Wane (“Obsession”) and Darhyl “DJ” Camper (“Bonnie & Clyde”).

The American singer, songwriter, and actor – born Tristan Wilds – has christened his new collection “AfterHours” and will release it on April 7 via The Ninety Five Percent / EMPIRE.

Lead promotional single “Explore” – now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms – was co-written by Cameron Wallace, whose credits include Sevyn Streeter’s “Fallen,” Ciara’s “Keep on Looking,” and Beyonce’s “Upgrade U.”

Other musicians backing Wilds on “AfterHours” are Darhyl “DJ” Camper (Mary J. Blige, Tamar Braxton), Key Wane (Jhene Aiko, Ariana Grande), Deputy (RAYE, Bibi Bourelly), The MeKanics (K. Michelle, Chris Brown), D’Mile (Diana Gordon, Jorin Sparks) and Kevin Garrett (Justine Skye, Alessia Cara).

Wilds’ debut studio collection, 2013’s “New York: A Love Story,” peaked to number twenty-eight on the US Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned contributions from Salaam Remi (“Henny”), Ne-Yo (“Own It”), James Fauntleroy (“You Can Cry to Me”), Bink (“My Crib”), James Poyser (“Sober Up”), Rico Love (“Magic”) and DJ Premier (“Keepin’ it Real”).
