Zara Larsson teams with Tom Walker on new song “Now You’re Gone”

Zara Larsson has teamed up with fellow recording artist Tom Walker on a new song “Now You’re Gone,” taken from Walker’s debut studio collection, “What a Time to Be Alive,” which is now available via Sony Music/Relentless Records.

The track was co-written by Chelcee Grimes (Dua Lipa’s “Kiss and Make Up”, Louisa Johnson’s “So Good,” Kylie Minogue’s “Million Miles”) and Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” Rita Ora’s “Your Song,” Craig David’s “Brand New”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Larsson is currently working on her upcoming studio collection under TEN Music Group / Epic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions from Max Martin, HitImpulse, Will IDAP, Jordan Riley, Goldgfingers, Rami Yacoub, Carassius Gold, Grades, Cass Lowe, Digital Farm Animals, and Electric.

On the songwriting front, Larsson has worked with Caroline Ailin, Max Wolfgang, Dyo, Erik Hassle, Jin Jin, Marlon Roudette, Nat Dunn, Leland, Whitney Phillips, Michael Pollack, and Delacey.

Bishop Briggs drafts Jin Jin, Jimmy Napes for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Sarah McLaughlin, known by her stage name Bishop Briggs, has drafted Jin Jin and Jimmy Napes for a new collaboration.

Jin Jin’s songwriting resume boasts works with Jess Glynne (“No One”), Rita Ora (“Proud”), Jax Jones (“You Don’t Know Me”), Yebba Smith (“Evergreen”), Raye (“Decline”), Little Mix (“Grown”), Nina Nesbitt (“Love Letter”), Paloma Faith (“Lullaby”) and Sabrina Carpenter (“Alien”).

Meanwhile, Napes is responsible for co-writing and producing Tori Kelly’s “Change Your Mind,” Sam Smith’s “Dancing with a Stranger,” Alicia Keys’s “Hallelujah,” Mary J. Blige’s “When You’re Gone,” Lianne La Havas’s “Wonderful,” Jessie Ware’s “Pieces,” and Ray BLK’s “Doing Me.”

Briggs’ upcoming project is expected to arrive later this year via Teleport Records in partnership with Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Her debut album “Church of Scars” – featuring singles “Wild Horses,” “River,” “Hi-Lo (Hollow),” “Dream” and “White Flag” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Mae Muller has tapped Naughty Boy for a new collaboration.

The British record producer and songwriter (born Shahid Khan) has previously worked with Emeli Sande (“Heaven”), Leona Lewis (“Trouble”), Rihanna (“Half of Me”), Mary J. Blige (“Pick Me Up”), Marlon Roudette (“Anti Hero”), Tanika Bailey (“Runaway”) and Cheryl Cole (“Craziest Things”).

Meanwhile, Muller’s current singles “Leave It Out” and “Flaws” – which were helmed by Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola of UK songwriting and production duo Future Cut – are now available via all digital streaming outlets.

Her upcoming project reportedly yields alliances with Two Inch Punch, Jimmy Napes, Caroline Ailin, Ed Thomas, Bastian Langebaek, Jin Jin, Max Wolfgang, Lostboy, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Joe Rubel, Marlon Roudette, and Invisible Men.

Jess Glynne has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “No One” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Thursday (February 21, 2019).

The track was co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, whose resume boasts additional works with Little Mix (“Grown”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Alien”), Madison Beer (“Home With You”), Raye (“You Don’t Know Me”), Paloma Faith (“Lullaby”), Fleur East (“Like That”) and Rita Ora (“Proud”).

Production duties on “No One” were handled by Toby Gad, whose recent credits include Josh Groban’s “Granted,” Fletcher’s “I Believe You,” Calum Scott’s “No Matter What,” Rozzi Crane’s “Never Again,” John Legend’s “One Woman Man,” Fergie’s “Save it Till Morning,” and Charlotte’s “Just Me.”

Glynne’s latest studio collection “Always in Between” – featuring previous promotional singles “Thursday,” “All I Am” and “I’ll Be There” – is now available via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

British singer/songwriter Anne-Marie Nicholson, professionally known as Anne-Marie, has teamed up with Louis Bell for a new collaboration.

The American record producer and songwriter is responsible for helming singles including “Havana” (Camila Cabello), “Rockstar” (Post Malone), “Wolves” (Selena Gomez), “I’ll Be There” (Jess Glynne), “Without Me” (Halsey), “Lost in Japan” (Shawn Mendes) and “Think About Us” (Little Mix).

Bell’s extensive resume boasts additional works with Justin Bieber (“Let Me Love You”), Selena Gomez (“It Ain’t Me”), Julia Michaels (“Into You”), Chris Brown (“Hands Up”), Bebe Rexha (“Steady”), Rita Ora (“Only Want You”), Cardi B (“Through Your Phone”) and 21 Savage (“All My Friends”).

American actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld has drafted producers Fred Ball and Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk for a new collaboration.

Kozmeniuk is responsible for helming Dua Lipa’s “IDGAF,” Lykke Li’s “Deep End,” Grace Carter’s “Heal Me,” Jennifer Hudson’s “Dangerous,” Lights’ “Kicks,” Nicki Minaj’s “Up in Flames,” and Madonna’s “Gang Bang.”

Meanwhile, Ball’s resume boasts works with Rihanna (“Love on the Brain”), Mariah Carey (“One Mo ‘Gen”), Toni Braxton (“Deadwood”), Anne-Marie (“Some People”), Roses Gabor (“Turkish Delight”), Justine Skye (“Heaven”), Zara Larsson (“One Mississipi”) and Jessie Ware (“Slow Me Down”).

The visual clip for “Paradise” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Thursday (February 14, 2018).

The track was co-written and produced by Cass Lowe, whose recent credits include Rudimental’s “Scared of Love,” Jess Glynne’s “Nevermind,” Lily Allen’s “Pushing Up Daisies,” MØ’s “Nostalgia,” Alex Adair’s “I Will,” DNCE’s “TV in the Morning,” and Paloma Faith’s “Kings and Queens.”

Ray BLK’s current project “Empress” – featuring 8 songs including “Run Run,” “Got My Own,” “Girl Like Me,” “Mama,” “Empress,” “Don’t Beg” and “Just a Kid” – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.
