Selena Gomez confirms title, release date, tracklisting for new album

Selena Gomez has confirmed the details for her upcoming album.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress christened her next studio collection “Rare” and will release it 10 January 2020 via Interscope Records.

Lead singles “Look At Her Now” and “Lose You to Love Me” are now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The album also features songwriting contributions from Madison Emiko Love, Leland, Caroline Ailin, Justin Tranter, Julia Michaels, Sean Douglas, Breyan Isaac, Julie Frost, Amy Allen, Steph Jones, Bebe Rexha, Simon Wilcox, Jasmine Thompson, Scott Harris, Chloe Angelides, and Liza Owen.

On the production front, Gomez has worked with Mattman & Robin, Ian Kirkpatrick, Nolan Lambroza, Jason Evigan, Alex Hope, Billboard, Rami Yacoub, David Pramik, MNEK, Jon Bellion, and The Monsters & Strangerz.

Jasmine Thompson shares music video for new single “Words”

Jasmine Thompson has shared the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Words” to her Vevo channel on Thursday (September 28, 2017).

The track was written by Julia Michaels (Gwen Stefani, Rita Ora), Justin Tranter (Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez), Oscar Holter (Adam Lambert, Katy Perry) and Oscar Gorres (Ellie Goulding, Tori Kelly).

Thompson’s current EP “Wonderland” – featuring previous promotional singles “Old Friends,” “Someone’s Somebody” and “Wanna Know Love” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The mini-collection boasts further songwriting contributions Maegan Cottone (Era Istrefi), Ross Golan (Charlie Puth), Hayley Warner (Jessica Simpson), Tom Havelock (Sinead Harnett) and Madison Love (Camila Cabello).

On the production front, Thompson has worked with Isa Machine (Ella Henderson), Johan Carlsson (Colbie Caillat), BloodPop (Justin Bieber), Phil Cook (Birdy), Erik Rosse (Conrad Sewell) and Ritual (Dua Lipa).

British singer/songwriter Jasmine Thompson has released the piano version of her new single “Wanna Know Love” via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Wanna Know Love” was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who also teamed up with the song’s producer Michael “BloodPop” Tucker on Pia Mia’s “Touch,” Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” Britney Spears’ “Better,” John Legend’s “What You Do to Me,” and Tinashe’s “Just Like You.”

Thompson’s current EP “Wonderland,” featuring previous singles “Old Friends” and “Someone’s Somebody,” boasts further songwriting contributions Maegan Cottone (Era Istrefi), Ross Golan (Jessie Ware), Hayley Warner (Nickelback), Tom Havelock (Sinead Harnett) and Madison Love (Camila Cabello).

The follow-up to 2015’s “Adore” EP also delivers productions from Isa Machine (Ella Henderson), Johan Carlsson (Charlie Puth), Phil Cook (Birdy), Erik Rosse (Conrad Sewell), Oscar Holter (Katy Perry) and RITUAL (Dua Lipa).

Jasmine Thompson has liberated her new single online.

“Old Friends” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Meghan Trainor alongside Ross Golan and Johan Carlsson, who are also responsible for Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman,” Charlie Puth’s “Then There Was You,” Little Mix’s “You Gotta Not,” Michael Buble’s “Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow,” Colbie Caillat’s “Nice Guys,” Jason Derulo’s “Painkiller,” and One Direction’s “If I Could Fly.”

As mention in earlier posts, Thompson’s upcoming mini-album “Wonderland” – featuring “Someone’s Somebody,” “Wanna Know Love,” “Fix Me,” “Drama” and “Words” – will arrive on May 19 via Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2015’s delivers further contributions from RITUAL (Dua Lipa, Frances), Maegan Cottone (Olly Murs, Imani Williams), Justin Tranter (Imagine Dragons, Selena Gomez) and Livvi Franc (Christina Aguilera, Zara Larsson).

The British singer/songwriter christened her next mini-album “Wonderland” and will release it on May 19 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Tracks slotted for inclusion on the follow-up to 2015’s “Adore” are “Old Friends,” “Someone’s Somebody,” “Wanna Know Love,” “Fix Me,” “Drama” and “Words.”

The title song is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the musicians backing Thompson on “Wonderland” are RITUAL (Dua Lipa, Frances), Maegan Cottone (Little Mix, Fleur East), Livvi Franc (Zara Larsson, Britney Spears) and Justin Tranter (Jojo, Fifth Harmony).

Jasmine Thompson teams up with Nina Nesbitt, Red Triangle for debut album

Jasmine Thompson has recorded new music with Nina Nesbitt and Red Triangle for upcoming debut album.

“Wrote a song the other day with @ninanesbitt and @redtrianglepro … Celebrated with biscuits and lots of tea,” the British singer-songwriter posted to Instagram on Sunday (October 23, 2016).

Nesbitt previously co-wrote “Phoenix” for Olivia Holt along with Ammar Malik and Steve Mac. The Scottish songstress also contributed to the forthcoming project by 70Hz / Virgin EMI recording artist DAKOTA.

Meanwhile, Red Triangle – consisting of Rick Parkhouse and George Tizzard – have produced songs for Green Day (“Still Breathing”), Charlie Puth (“As You Are”), Alex Newell (“Shame”) and Cheryl (“I Don’t Care”).

Thompson, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection in 2017 through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further contributions from Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd), Justin Tranter (Gwen Stefani), Julia Michaels (Years & Years), Mitch Allan (Kelly Clarkson) and Mattman & Robin (Hailee Steinfeld).

Jasmine Thompson has drafted Stephan Moccio for her upcoming debut album.

The Canadian hitmaker is responsible for helming Celine Dion’s “A New Day Has Come” [Columbia], Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” [RCA], The Weeknd’s “Earned It” [Republic] and Seal’s “Daylight Saving” [Warner Brothers].

He also contributed to the next projects by Maty Noyes [Republic], Shawn Mendes [Island], Meghan Trainor [Epic], John Legend [Columbia], Labrinth [Syco], Fergie [Interscope] and Jon Bellion [Capitol].

Meanwhile, Thompson is expected to release her first studio collection later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The songwriting and production duo – composed of Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson – previously worked with Taylor Swift (“All You Had to Do Was Stay”), Selena Gomez (“Hands to Myself”) and Tove Lo (“Moments”).

Their recent credits include Nick Jonas’s “Close” [Island], Hailee Steinfeld’s “Rock Bottom” [Republic], Gwen Stefani’s “Make Me Like You” [Interscope] and DNCE’s “Cake By the Ocean” [Republic].

Meanwhile, Thompson is expected to release her first studio collection later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project features additional alliances with Mitch Allan (Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato), Julia Michaels (Zara Larsson, Jessie Ware) and Justin Tranter (Fifth Harmony, Parson James).

Jasmine Thompson has teamed up with Julia Michaels for her debut album.

Michaels recently co-wrote “Hands to Myself” for Selena Gomez along with Justin Tranter, Mattias Larsson, Robin Fredriksson, and Max Martin. The track peaked to number seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Her resume includes further works with Little Mix (“Love Me or Leave Me”), Kelly Clarkson (“War Paint”), Bea Miller (“Force of Nature”), Jason Derulo (“Trade Hearts”), and Nick Jonas (“Area Code”).

Meanwhile, Thompson is scheduled to release the follow-up to 2015’s EP “Adore” later this year through Atlantic Records.

The British singer/songwriter posted an acoustic rendition of “Let Myself Try” to her YouTube channel on Sunday (November 08, 2015).

“Let Myself Try” was co-written by Amy Wadge (Ed Sheeran, Ben Haenow) and the song’s producer Jake Gosling (Christina Perri, LeAnn Rimes).

Thompson’s latest mini-collection “Adore” – featuring the title track along with “Do It Now,” “Great Escape” and “Crystal Heart” – is out now via iTunes.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Thompson is scheduled to release her first major-label debut album next year through Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly delivers contributions from Justin Tranter (Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears) and Mitch Allan (Fifth Harmony, Prince Royce).
