FKA twigs confirms details for sophomore album “Magdalene”

FKA twigs has confirmed the details for her upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her second studio collection “Magdalene” and will release it on October 25 via Young Turks Recordings.

Current promotional single “Holy Terrain” (featuring Future) – which was collectively produced by Skrillex, Jack Antonoff, Sounwave, Noah Goldstein, and Kenny Beats – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

Besides confirmed collaborators Nicholas Jaar, Jeff Kleinman, Dave Ozuwuru and Jason Boyd, the follow-up to 2014’s “LP1” reportedly boasts further alliances with Rick Nowels, Sia Furler, and Levi Lennox.

Jason Derulo releases new single “Swalla” with Nicki Minaj, Ty Dolla $ign

Jason Derulo has released his new single online.

“Swalla” – featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Jacob “JKash” Kasher (Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth), Gamal “LunchMoney” Lewis (Becky G, Jennifer Lopez) and the song’s producer Eric “Ricky Reed” Frederic (Kesha, Meghan Trainor).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Derulo’s fifth studio collection will arrive later this year via Beluga Heights / Warner Brothers Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions from Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem (Usher), Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph (Rihanna), Jussi “Jussifer” Ilmari (Jojo) and NOVA WAV (Chloe x Halle).

On the songwriting front, Derulo has worked with Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd (K. Michelle), Scott Harris (The Chainsmokers), Justin Tranter (DNCE), Verse Simmonds (Keyshia Cole) and Julia Michaels (Britney Spears).

Derulo’s last studio collection, 2015’s “Everything is 4,” peaked to number four on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Want to Want Me,” “Cheyenne,” “Try Me” and “Get Ugly.”

Rita Ora confirms “Fifty Shades Darker” song title

Rita Ora has announced the title of her new song.

“Kiss Me” will appear on the Target edition / international deluxe version of the original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Darker,” out on February 10 via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

The star-studded compilation boasts further guest appearances from Halsey (“Not Afraid Anymore”), Corinne Bailey Rae (“The Scientist”), Tove Lo (“Lies in the Dark”), John Legend (“New Man”), The-Dream (“Code Blue”), JP Cooper (“Birthday”), Frances (“What is Love”) and Sia (“Helium”).

Ora, on the other hand, will release her sophomore studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Album producers and songwriters include Stargate, EYELAR, Jake Gosling, Chelcee Grimes, Digital Farm Animals, Ali Tamposi, Leon Thomas, Diana Gordon, Brian Lee, Jin Jin, Andrew Watt, and Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd.

Rita Ora reunites with Stargate for sophomore album

Rita Ora has reunited with Mikkel Eriksen and Tor Hermansen of songwriting and production duo Stargate for her sophomore album.

“Late night @RitaOra @Andrew50Watt,” Eriksen posted to his Instagram account on Tuesday (October 11, 2016).

Ora previously teamed up with Stargate on the Makeba Riddick-assisted “Young, Single & Sexy” and J. Cole-featuring “Love and War,” taken from her debut studio collection “ORA.”

Moreover, the Norwegian hitmakers have reportedly contributed to the next projects by Diztortion [Polydor], Tinashe [RCA], Kieza [Island], MØ [Chess Club], Selena Gomez [Interscope] and Zara Larsson [Epic].

Ora, on the other hand, is expected to release her second studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project features additional alliances with Digital Farm Animals, Ali Tamposi, Brian Lee, Jin Jin, Leon Thomas, Diana Gordon, Jake Gosling, Andrew Watt, Chelcee Grimes, Jason Boyd, and Eyelar Mirzazadeh.

K. Michelle has shared a new song online.

“Forward” is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track – which was co-written by Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd alongside Georgia Ku, Sam Barsh and Adam “Royal Z” Waldman – appears on the social commentary “The Birth of a Nation: Inspired By Album.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, K. Michelle is currently working on her upcoming fourth studio collection under Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “More Issues Than Vogue” reportedly delivers contributions from Bianca Atterberry (Pia Mia, Meghan Trainor), Claude Kelly (Brandy, Toni Braxton) and Chuck Harmony (Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige).

Rita Ora has added Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd to the list of contributors for her upcoming sophomore album.

Boyd is known for co-writing singles including Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean” [Def Jam], Jack Ü’s “Where Are U Now” [Atlantic], Chris Brown’s “She Ain’t You” [RCA] and Kelly Rowland’s “Work” [Columbia].

His extensive resume boasts further works with Usher (“Caught Up”), Pink (“Love is Such a Crazy Thing”), Kelis (“Handful”), Ludacris (“Contagious”), Mya (“Lock U Down”), Amerie (“Just Like Me”) and Lupe Fiasco (“Bitch Bad”).

Meanwhile, Ora is expected to release her upcoming sophomore studio collection later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “ORA” reportedly delivers further alliances with Digital Farm Animals (Noah Cyrus), Ali Tamposi (Lea Michele), Brian Lee (Fifth Harmony), Leon Thomas (Pia Mia), Diana Gordon (Beyonce), Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran), Andrew Watt (DJ Snake) and Chelcee Grimes (Kesha).
