Rae Morris confirms details for sophomore studio collection

Rae Morris has confirmed the details for her upcoming sophomore album.

The British singer/songwriter (born Rachel Anne Morris) christened her second studio collection “Someone Out There” and will release it on February 2nd via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Current promotional single “Atletico” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the follow-up to 2015’s “Unguarded,” Morris has teamed with songwriters and producers including Benjamin “Fryars” Garrett (Cosima, Lily Allen), Jennifer Decilveo (Ella Henderson, Michelle Branch), Steve Robson (Olly Murs, Robbie Williams) and Starsmith (Jess Glynne, Ellie Goulding).

Dan Caplen liberates new promotional single “Two Fingers”

British singer/songwriter Daniel Sebastian Caplen, professionally known as Dan Caplen, has shared his new promotional single online.

“Two Fingers” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Two Inch Punch, who is also responsible for Ella Eyre’s “Deeper,” Sam Smith’s “Money on My Mind,” Moko’s “With You,” Jessie Ware’s “Say You Love Me,” Anne-Marie’s “Boy,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Human,” JP Cooper’s “Good Friend,” and Saya’s “Cold Fire.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Ray BLK-assisted / Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – is expected to arrive early next year via Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Fred Cox, Hannah Yadi, James Newman, Amish “ADP” Patel, Jennifer Decilveo, Frank Gamble, Amy Wadge, Jamie Hartman, Fraser T. Smith, Jamie Scott, Wayne Hector, and Jonny Coffer.

Anne-Marie hits the studio with Emily Warren, Chris Loco for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Anne-Marie has teamed up with Emily Warren and Chris Loco for a new collaboration.

Recent songwriting credits by Warren include Little Mix’s “No More Sad Songs,” Charli XCX’s “Boys,” Dua Lipa’s “New Rules,” Molly Kate Kestner’s “Good Die Young,” Sean Paul’s “No Lie,” Alessia Cara’s “The Other Side,” Noah Cyrus’ “Stay Together,” and Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me.”

She has also contributed to the next projects by Sigrid, Liam Payne, Dua Lipa, Sigala, Ella Eyre, Tori Kelly, David Guetta, Shakira, Grace Mitchell, Dagny, Liza Owen, Phoebe Ryan, and Ella Henderson.

Meanwhile, Loco is responsible for co-writing and producing Raleigh Ritchie’s “Stronger than Ever,” Emeli Sande’s “Garden,” Kevin Garrett’s “Little Bit of You,” Justine Skye’s “U Don’t Know,” Etta Bond’s “Kiss My Girlfriend,” Sinead Harnett’s “Rather Be with You,” and Professor Green’s “Lullaby.”

British singer/songwriter Dan Caplen has teased a new collaboration with Jamie Scott, Wayne Hector, and Jonny Coffer.

“Catching ideas yesterday with Jamie Scott x Wayne Hector x Jonny Coffer,” he posted to his Instagram on Wednesday (September 27, 2017).

Scott and Coffer have collectively written and produced songs for Rag’n’Bone Man (“Skin”), Ady Suleiman (“Wait for You”), Beach (“Bite My Tongue”) and Ella Henderson (“Paperback Love”).

Meanwhile, Hector’s recent songwriting credits include Taya’s “When You’re Sober,” Olly Murs’ “You Don’t Know Love,” Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows,” Little Mix’s “Nothing Else Matters,” Birdy’s “Hear You Calling,” Anne-Marie’s “Alarm,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “First Time,” and JONES’ “Til We Get There.”

British singer/songwriter Daniel Sebastian Caplen, professionally known as Dan Caplen, has enlisted Jennifer Decilveo for a new collaboration.

According to ASCAP’s ACE Repertory, Decilveo previously co-wrote three tracks with Caplen in the shape of “Good Temptations,” “Hoops,” and “Say My Name.”

Her songwriting resume boasts additional works with Ryn Weaver (“Sail On”), Melanie Martinez (“Play Date”), Diana Gordon (“Bleeding Out”), Beth Ditto (“We Could Run”), Michelle Branch (“Temporary Feeling”), Andra Day (“Rise Up”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Without a Woman”) and Wens (“Bleed”).

Meanwhile, Caplen’s upcoming project – featuring the Ray BLK-featuring / Jordan Riley and Mark Ralph-produced “Flat Champagne” – will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Arnthor Birgisson has teased a new collaboration with Birdy.

“Enjoyed being the Piano Man today with @birdyinstagram,” the Icelandic/Swedish songwriter and record producer posted to Instagram on Wednesday (September 13, 2017).

Birgisson recently co-wrote “When Ur Sober” for British singer/songwriter Taya alongside Emma Davidson-Dillon and Wayne Hector. The Diztortion and Mark Ralph-produced cut is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Birgisson’s extensive resume boasts further works with Ina Wroldsen (“Lay it On Me”), Shontelle (“Impossible”), Tove Styrke (“Ego”), Leona Lewis (“My Hands”), Kim Cesarion (“Naked”), Tiaan (“Devil’s Touch”), Jennifer Lopez (“Play”), Selena Gomez (“Write Your Name”) and 5 After Midnight (“Up in Here”).

Birdy, on the other hand, is expected to release her fourth studio collection – featuring additional alliances with Johan Gustafson, Grades, Jennifer Decilveo, – later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Her previous album, 2016’s “Beautiful Lies,” peaked to number four on the UK Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Wild Horses,” “Keeping Your Head Up,” “Words” and “Hear You Calling.”

Kamille registers new song titles online

British singer/songwriter Camille Angelina Purcell, mononymously known as Kamille, has registered new song titles on BMI Reportoire.

“Burns” and “Wish You Would” are slotted for inclusion on the artist’s upcoming debut album under Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Both tracks were co-written with Adam Midgley, Tommy Baxtor and Gerrard O’Connor of RITUAL, who are also responsible for Dua Lipa’s “Hotter Than Hell,” Frances’ “When it Comes to Us,” and Kungs’ “You Remain.”

RITUAL’s current promotional single “Better By Now” – co-written with the group’s lead vocalist Katie “Mononoke” Taylor alongside Jennifer Decilveo – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Kamille’s debut project, on the other hand, reportedly delivers additional alliances with Chris Loco (Emeli Sande), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith), Dantae Johnson (Mali-Koa) and Goldfingers (Liza Owen).

In addition to recently co-writing and providing guest vocals on UK production trio Ghosted’s first single “Get Some,” Kamille has also contributed to the next releases by Jessie Ware, Rudimental, Anne-Marie, David Guetta, Louis Tomlinson, Jess Glynne, Ella Henderson, Rita Ora, Tamera Foster, Sigala, Era Istrefi, Calum Scott, Wiz Kid, Daecolm, and Ella Eyre.
