Zendaya collaborates with Deputy for sophomore album

Zendaya has collaborated with Deputy for her upcoming sophomore album.

“Just sat down with @Zendaya in the studio… Deputy and Zendaya coming soon,” the record producer tweeted on Monday (April 27, 2015).

Deputy is known for producing Rihanna’s hit single “Bitch Better Have My Money” along with Travis Scott, WondaGurl and Kanye West.  The track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Roc Nation Records.

His resume also includes works with A-list musicians such as Wale [Atlantic Records], J. Cole [Columbia Records], Ne-Yo [Motown Records], Rick Ross [Maybach Music Group] and The-Dream [Capitol Records].

Meanwhile, Zendaya is expected to release her second studio collection later this year under Hollywood Records. The still-untitled project follows 2013’s “Zendaya,” which spawned international hit single “Replay.”

Other producers associated with the new album are Babyface (Beyonce, Mariah Carey), Timbaland (Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake), Jim Beanz (Keri Hilson, Jennifer Hudson) and RoccStar (Fergie, Jennifer Lopez).

Zendaya hits the studio with Talay Riley, Timbaland, Jim Beanz

Singer and actress Zendaya has recently recorded new material with Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, James “Jim Beanz” Washington and Talay Riley.

“Latest nights were my greatest nights @timbaland @talayriley @beanzbeanzbeanz,” she posted to her Instagram account.

Riley is known for co-writing Wilkinson’s “Afterglow” f/ Becky Hill [Virgin EMI Records], Nathan Sykes’ “More Than You’ll Ever Know” [Global Entertainment] and Ellie Goulding’s “In My City” [Polydor Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Usher [RCA Records], Keri Hilson [Interscope Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music] and Jason Derulo [Beluga Heights / Warner Bros. Records].

Meanwhile, Timbaland and Beanz have served as prominent producers and songwriters for the original motion picture soundtrack, “Empire,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Their other credits include Nelly Furtado’s “Maneater” [Geffen Records], Danity Kane’s “Want It” [Atlantic Records], Jennifer Hudson’s “Pocketbook” [J Records] and Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long” f/ Missy Elliot [Hollywood Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Zendaya is scheduled to release her sophomore album later this year under Hollywood Records. The still-untitled LP follows 2013’s “Zendaya,” which spawned international hit single “Replay.”

Other producers on the highly-anticipated CD are Babyface (Jess Glynne, Sevyn Streeter), Antonio Dixon (Justin Bieber, Colbie Caillat), Khris Riddick-Tynes (Ariana Grande, Delta Goodrem) and RoccStar (Fergie, Chris Brown).

On the songwriting front, Zendaya has teamed with Tiffany Fred (Tamar Braxton, Pixie Lott), Patrick “J. Que” Smith (Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez), Taylor Parks (Elle Varner, Tori Kelly), Eric Bellinger (Brandy, Teyana Taylor) and Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Nick Jonas, Natasha Bedingfield).

V. Bozeman premieres “Black and Blue” music video

V. Bozeman has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the Adam Tillman-Young-directed / Shalonda Cornitcher-produced visual clip for “Black and Blue” to her official YouTube channel on Thursday (March 05, 2015).

“Black and Blue” was co-written by Jim Beanz, whose other credits include Britney Spears’ “Gimme More” [Jive Records], Danity Kane’s “Bad Girl” [Atlantic Records] and Craig David’s “Insomnia” [Warner Bros. Records].

Production duties were handled by Timbaland, who is also responsible for Demi Lovato’s “All Night Long” [Hollywood Records], Beyonce’s “Partition” [Columbia Records] and Justin Timberlake’s “Suit & Tie” [RCA Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Bozeman is currently putting the final touches on her upcoming debut album “Music is My Boyfriend” and will release it later this year via Mosley Music Group in conjunction with Epic Records.
