Tinie Tempah drafts Jess Glynne for new single “Not Letting Go”

Tinie Tempah has debuted the lyric video for his new single online.

The British rapper posted the lyrical clip for new single “Not Letting Go” to his official YouTube channel on Tuesday (May 12, 2015).

“Not Letting Go”- available for download from June 21 via iTunes (UK) – was co-written by Jamaican artist Krishane along with Jin Jin (Aston Merrygold, Tamera Foster) and Bless Beats (Melissa Steel, Sasha Keable).

The Jess Glynne-assisted track marks the first promotional cut from Tinie Tempah’s upcoming third studio album under Parlophone Records.

His last studio collection, 2013’s “Demonstration,” peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned three hit singles in the shape of “Trampoline,” “Children of the Sun” and “Lover Not a Fighter.”

Jess Glynne unwraps debut album “I Cry When I Laugh” artwork

Jess Glynne has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “I Cry When I Laugh” and will release it on August 14th under Atlantic Records.

Current single “Hold My Hand” – written by Glynne along with Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Ina Wroldsen and Jack Patterson – is now available for download via iTunes (UK). The track peaked to number one on the UK Singles Charts.

Other album contributors are Knox Brown (Beyonce, Mary J. Blige), Emeli Sande (Rihanna, Alicia Keys), Jonny Coffer (Sam Smith, Conor Maynard), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Joel Compass) and Naughty Boy (Gabrielle, Alesha Dixon).

Fans of Glynne’s poignant songwriting should look out for the next projects by M.O. [Operator Records], Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records] and Rita Ora [Roc Nation / Columbia Records].

The title track “I Cry When I Laugh” was helmed by Mustafa Omer and James Murray of songwriting and production duo Mojam (Craig David, Leona Lewis). However, it is not included on the album’s final tracklisting.

Melissa Steel recruits Knox Brown for debut album

Melissa Steel has recruited Knox Brown for her upcoming debut album.

Brown is known for producing and co-writing “Whole Damn Year” for Mary J. Blige along with Emeli Sande. The track appears on Blige’s latest album, “The London Sessions,” now available for download via iTunes.

His songwriting and production resume includes additional works for Jess Glynne [Atlantic Records], Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI], Joel Compass [Polydor], Aloe Blacc [Interscope] and Beyonce [Columbia].

Meanwhile, Steel’s first studio collection is expected to hit stores and digital outlets later this year under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “Kisses for Breakfast” was co-written by Lea-Anna Gallimore and produced by Derryck “Wundah” Cyrus. Commercial performance-wise, the track peaked to number ten on the UK Singles Chart.

Lion Babe has collaborated with Jin Jin on new material.

The British singer/songwriter – born Janee Bennett – recently co-wrote Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand” along with Ina Wroldsen and Jack Patterson of Clean Bandit. The track debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

She also contributed to the next projects by Raye [Polydor], Aston Merrygold [Warner Bros], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Melissa Steel [Atlantic], Karen Harding [Capitol], Janelle Monae [Atlantic] and Moko [Virgin EMI].

Meanwhile, Lion Babe is expected to release its debut album later this year under Amanda Ghost’s label Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

Current single “Wonder Woman” – which was produced by Pharrell Williams – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Other musicians backing Lion Babe on the still-untitled collection are Jeff Bhasker (Beyonce, Alicia Keys), Makeba Riddick (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Joel Compass (MNEK, FKA twigs) and Dave Sitek (Kelis, Sam Dew).

British singer/songwriter Aston Merrygold has added Chelcee Grimes and Future Cut to the list of contributors for his upcoming debut album.

Grimes’ songwriting resume includes works for Fleur East [Syco Music], Karen Harding [Capitol Records], Little Mix [Columbia Records], Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records] and Tulisa Contostavlos [All Around the World].

Some of her notable credits are “Million Miles” by Kylie Minogue [Parlophone] and “Walking Through the Desert” by The Saturdays [Polydor].

Meanwhile, Future Cut are known for producing and co-writing Olly Murs’ “Please Don’t Let Me Go” [Epic Records], Lily Allen’s “Smile” [Parlophone Records] and Stooshe’s “Black Heart” [Warner Bros Records].

The hitmaking duo – consisting of Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola –also contributed to the next projects by Ella Eyre [Virgin EMI], Tamera Foster [Syco Music], Whinnie Williams [Night Beach Records], Alesha Dixon [Asylum Records] and Mutya Keisha Siobhan [Polydor Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Merrygold is expected to release his first studio collection later this year under Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features additional alliances with The Underdogs (Ciara, Justin Timberlake), Jin Jin (MNEK, Jess Glynne), Dem Jointz (Rihanna, Madison Beer) and Lil’ Eddie (Usher, Prince Royce).

Jamaican singer/songwriter Krishane has recorded new material with Arnthor Birgisson for his upcoming debut album.

The Icelandic/Swedish songwriter and record producer is known for helming Kim Cesarion’s “Undressed” [RCA Records], Shontelle’s “Impossible” [Motown Records] and Janet Jackson’s “All Nite (Don’t Stop)” [Virgin Records].

His extensive resume also includes works for Selena Gomez (“Write Your Name”), Leona Lewis (“Heartbeat”), Tiaan (“Devil’s Touch”), Danity Kane (“Stay With Me”) and Samantha Mumba (“Gotta Tell You”).

Meanwhile, Krishane is expected to release his first studio collection later this year under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Lead single “Drunk and Incapable” – featuring guest vocals from label mate Melissa Steel – is now available for download via iTunes.

Jess Glynne has scheduled the release date for her debut album.

The British singer/songwriter – real name Jessica Hannah Glynne – will release the still-untitled project on June 29 via Atlantic Records.

Current single “Hold My Hand” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett (Karen Harding, Janelle Monae) and produced by Clean Bandit’s Jack Patterson and Starsmith.

The track follows previous promotional cut, the Gorgon City-produced “Right Here,” which peaked to number six on the UK Singles Chart.

Other producers backing Glynne on the keenly-awaited LP are Fraser T. Smith (Raleigh Ritchie, Sam Smith), Naughty Boy (Rihanna, Ella Eyre), Knox Brown (Beyonce, Mary J. Blige) and Bless Beats (Krishane, Melissa Steel).

On the songwriting front, Glynne has teamed with Andrea Martin (Fergie, Leona Lewis), Emeli Sande (Alicia Keys, Katy Perry), Jonny Coffer (Tanika, Tinie Tempah) and Babyface (Sevyn Streeter, Ariana Grande).
