Dua Lipa unleashes new single “Don’t Start Now”

Dua Lipa has unleashed her new single online.

“Don’t Start Now” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Caroline Ailin (Selena Gomez, Lennon Stella), Emily Warren (Bebe Rexha, Anne-Marie) and Ian Kirkpatrick (Raye, Kelsea Ballerini).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album early next year via Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled reportedly features additional songwriting contributions from from Julia Michaels, Sarah Hudson, Tove Lo, Kennedi, Tayla Parx, Kamille, Sarah Aarons, Ilsey Juber, Jozzy, Sasha Sloan, and Lindy Robbins.

On the production front, Dua Lipa has worked with Koz, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, Grades, King Henry, Ilya, Max Martin, Jason Evigan, Joel Little, Fred Ball, Danja, Supa Dups, Metro Boomin’, John Ryan, and Sly.

Dua Lipa reunites with Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren, Ian Kirkpatrick for new single “Don’t Start Now”

Dua Lipa has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “Don’t Start Now” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming sophomore album and will release it on November 1st via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren and Ian Kirkpatrick, who previously teamed up with Dua Lipa on “New Rules.” Taken from the artist’s self-titled debut album, “New Rules” topped the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number six on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Normani premieres music video for new single “Motivation”

Normani has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The Dave Meyers and Daniel Russel-directed clip for “Motivation” was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Friday (August 16, 2019).

“Motivation” – which was co-written by Ariana Grande alongside Savan Kotecha, Ilya Salmanzadeh and Max Martin – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Normani’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous single “Waves” (produced by Jonah Christian and co-written by Felicia Ferraro and Mary Weitz) – is expected to arrive later this year via Keep Cool / RCA Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts further contributions from Pharrell Williams, Ester Dean, Teddy Geiger, Kito, Joel Little, Nova Wav, Jahaan Sweet, Kaydence, The-Dream, Caroline Ailin, Justin Tranter, Tayla Parx, Boi-1da, August Rigo, Vinylz, Jocelyn Donald, and Sons of Sonix.

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has drafted Jocelyn “Jozzy” Donald and Leland “Metro Boomin” Wayne for a new collaboration.

Jozzy is known for co-writing Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” Monica’s “Just Right for Me,” Little Mix’s “Bounce Back,” usher’s “Birthday,” Dinah Jane’s “Pass Me By,” Fergie’s “M.I.L.F,” Chris Brown’s “Discover,” and Tinashe’s “Ooh La La.”

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin’s production resume boasts works with Nicki Minaj (“Chun Swae”), 21 Savage (“No Heart”), Solange (“Stay Flo”), Gucci Mane (“Droptopwop”), A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (“Get to You”) and Lana Del Rey (“God Bless America – And All The Beautiful Women In It”).

Normani has confirmed the details for her new single.

Tayla Parx has teased a new collaboration with Little Mix.

“@littlemix is officially #TaylaMade,” the American singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Wednesday (17/07/2019).

Parx is known for co-writing Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next,” Janelle Monae’s “I Like It,” Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” Jojo’s “Fuck Apologies,” Christina Aguilera’s “Accelerate,” and Mariah Carey’s “Infinity.”

Her debut album under Atlantic Records, “We Need to Talk,” is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Little Mix’s upcoming sixth album – featuring lead single “Bounce Back” (which was co-written by Jude Demorest and Jocelyn “Jozzy” David and produced by Swiff D and Stargate) – is expected to arrive later this year via via RCA Records (UK) and Columbia Records (US).

The follow-up to 2018’s “LM5” reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Supa Dups, Georgia Ku, Warren “Oak” Felder, Sean Douglas, Boy Matthews, Kamille, Chris Loco, and Goldfingers.

British girl group Little Mix – composed of members Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards – have teamed up with Boi-1da for a new collaboration.

The Jamaican record producer – born Dwayne Chin-Quee – is responsible for singles including Nicki Minaj’s “Bed,” Amara La Negra’s “Insecure,” Drake’s “Controlla,” Mary J. Blige’s “Each Tear,” and Estelle’s “Come Over.”

Supa Dups’ extensive resume boasts additional works with Bruno Mars (“Liquor Store Blues”), Melanie Fiona (“Like I Love You”), John Legend (“No Other Love”), Christina Aguilera (“Around the World”), Stacy Barthe (“No Strings Attached”), Becky G (“Zooted”) and Nina Sky (“Clothes Off”).
