Joe Jonas connects with Naughty Boy for new single “One Chance to Dance”

Joe Jonas has teamed up with Naughty Boy for his new promotional single “One Chance to Dance,” which is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Co-produced by Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas “Froe” Barnes of TMS alongside Kane “Kin” Parfitt; “One Chance to Dance” was also co-written by Emeli Sande, Sam Roman, Matthew Holmes, and Philip Leigh.

Naughty Boy’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring the Mojam Music-helmed “Should’ve Been Me” and Jonny Coffer-assisted “Runnin’ (Lose it All)” – is expected to arrive early next year via Virgin EMI Records.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sande is scheduled to release her upcoming mini-album “Kingdom Coming” – featuring the Illangelo-produced lead single “Starlight” – on November 3rd via Virgin EMI Records as well.

In addition to recently co-writing and producing James TW’s “For You” and Emily Warren’s “Something to Hold On To”, Holmes and Leigh (aka Mac & Phil) have also contributed to the next projects by Leona Lewis, Ina Wroldsen, Ella Henderson, Sarah Close, Hannah Jane Lewis, Fleur East, Molly Kate Kestner, Becky Hill, Taya, Grace Carter, Mahalia, Alice Chater, Kara Marni, Mali-Koa, Liza Owen, Dakota, Phoebe Ryan, Tamera Foster, Ava Lily, and LEIO.

DNCE unveils artwork for debut mini-collection “Swaay”

DNCE have unveiled the artwork for their debut EP.

The pop quartet – consisting of members Joe Jonas, JinJoo Lee, Cole Whittle, and Jack Lawless – are scheduled to release “Swaay” on October 23 through Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Lead promotional single “Cake By the Ocean” is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The EP also boasts alliances with Mattman & Robin (Gwen Stefani, Taylor Swift), Justin Tranter (Rita Ora, Selena Gomez), Rickard Goransson (Ariana Grande, Jessie J) and Ilya Salmanzadeh (Ella Eyre, Prince Royce).

DNCE selects “Pay My Rent” as new single

DNCE have selected their new single.

The pop quartet – composed of Joe Jonas, JinJoo Lee, Cole Whittle, and Jack Lawless – christened “Pay My Rent” as their next promotional cut from their upcoming debut mini-collection “Swaay.”

“Pay My Rent” was co-written by Joe Jonas and James Ghaleb along with Rickard Goransson (Ariana Grande, Jessie J) and Ilya “KnocDown” Salmanzadeh (Jennifer Lopez, Tori Kelly).

Meanwhile, “Swaay” – featuring previous single “Cake By the Ocean” – is scheduled to hit online outlets on October 23 through Republic Records.

DNCE teams up with Justin Tranter, Mattman & Robin for new single “Cake By the Ocean”

DNCE have shared their new single online.

The American pop music group – consisting of Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, JinJoo and Cole Whittle – posted the audio clip for “Cake By the Ocean” to their YouTube channel on Monday (September 14, 2015).

Jonas co-wrote “Cake By the Ocean” along with Justin Tranter, whose other credits include Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope], Kelly Clarkson’s “Nostalgic” [RCA] and Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Syco Music].

Production duties were handled by Mattman and Robin, who are also behind Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic], Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” [Interscope] and Tove Lo’s “Moments” [Island].

DNCE’s upcoming debut project is expected to hit stores and digital outlets later this year through Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

John Legend unwraps credits for new album ‘Love in the Future’

John Legend has unwrapped the songwriting credits for his upcoming album.

The singer/songwriter will release “Love in the Future” on September 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / G.O.O.D. Music / Columbia Records.

New single “Made to Love” was written by John Legend along with Justin Baron, Ernest “Tuo” Clark, Andrew Horowitz, Marshall Jefferson, Kimbra Johnson, Nana Kwabena, Lil’ Louis, Marcos “Kosine” Palacios, Dave Tozer, and Kanye West.

Other album songwriters include James Fauntleroy (Brandy, Toni Braxton), Guordan Banks (Keyshia Cole, Marcus Canty), Jessyca Wilson (Fantasia Barrino, Mario Barrett), Kevin Cossom (Luke James, Usher Raymond) and Joe Jonas (Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus).
