Madonna premieres Jonas Akerlund-directed video for new single “God Control”

Madonna has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “God Control” was posted to the American singer, songwriter and record producer’s Vevo channel on Wednesday (June 26, 2019).

It was helmed by Swedish music video director Jonas Akerlund, whose previous credits include Lady Gaga’s “Telephone,” Beyonce’s “Hold Up,” Taylor Swift’s “New Romantics,” Kesha’s “Praying,” Britney Spears’ “Hold It Against Me,” and David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over.”

Produced by Mirwais Ahmadzaï and Mike Dean, “Gid Control” appears on Madonna’s latest studio collection, “Madame X,” which is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Having debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart, “Madame X” features further productions and songwriting contributions from Pharrell Williams, Starrah, Jeff Bhasker, Diplo, Jason Evigan, and Billboard.

Beyoncé releases new album “Lemonade”

Beyonce has released her sixth album online.

“Lemonade” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Beyonce” boasts guest appearances from The Weeknd (“6 Inch”), Jack White (“Don’t Hurt Yourself”), Kendrick Lamar (“Freedom”) and James Blake (“Forward”).

Album producers include Diplo (Madonna), Mike Dean (Kanye West), Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend), Hit-Boy (Jennifer Hudson), Jonathan Coffer (Emeli Sande), Boots (FKA twigs), Just Blaze (Mariah Carey), Ben Billions (Travis Scott) and Mike WiLL Made It (Kelly Rowland).

On the songwriting front, Beyonce has teamed up with Wynter Gordon (Jennifer Lopez), The-Dream (Kehlani), Ilsey Juber (Charlie Puth), MNEK (Kylie Minogue), Carla Marie Williams (Britney Spears), Kevin Cossom (Mary J. Blige), Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars) and Rock City (Miley Cyrus).

“Lemonade” is also accompanied by a 60-minute short film of the same name, featuring visuals directed by Khalil Joseph, Malcolm Nichols, Melina Matsoukas, Todd Tourso, Dikayl Rimmasch, Jonas Åkerlund, and Mark Romanek.

Madonna premieres “Ghosttown” music video

Madonna has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The pop legend posted the visual clip for the Jonas Akerlund-directed “Ghosttown” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (April 09, 2015).

“Ghosttown” was written by Madonna along with Jason Evigan (Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Christina Milian, Leona Lewis) and Sean Douglas (Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo).

Production duties were handled by Madonna along with Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe, who also worked with Shakira (“Dare – La La La”), Britney Spears (“Hold It Against Me”) and Ellie Goulding (“In My City”).

Madonna’s latest album “Rebel Heart” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Living for Love” and “Devil Prey” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Live Nation and Interscope Records.

Other album contributors include Toby Gad (Brandy, John Legend), Mozella (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus), Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX), Symbolyc One (Beyonce, Tamar Braxton) and Diplo (Usher, Ariana Grande).

David Guetta unleashes “Dangerous” music video

David Guetta has unleashed the music video for his new single online.

The French DJ and record producer posted the Jonas Akerlund-directed clip for “Dangerous” to his official YouTube page on Friday (October 31, 2014).

“Dangerous” – which features vocals from singer/songwriter Sam Martin – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The track was written by David Guetta and Sam Martin along with Giorgio Tuinfort (Britney Spears, Ariana Grande), Lindy Robbins (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez) and Jason Evigan (Olly Murs, Fifth Harmony).

David Guetta’s sixth studio collection “Listen” will hit stores on November 24 via Parlophone Record and Atlantic Records.

The highly-anticipated LP boasts further appearances from Sia [RCA Records], John Legend [Columbia Records], Emeli Sande [Capitol Records], Ryan Tedder [Interscope Records] and Bebe Rexha [Warner Bros. Records].
