Jess Glynne hits the studio with RAYE, Jax Jones

British singer/songwriter Jess Glynne has tapped the songwriting and production services of RAYE and Jax Jones. However, it is yet to be known whether the session was intended for a future Jones’ release or Glynne’s upcoming sophomore album under Atlantic Records.

RAYE has (born Rachel Keen) has previously teamed up with Jax Jones on his single “You Don’t Know Me,” which was released in December 2016 via Polydor Records. Co-written by Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, the track peaked to number three on the UK Singles Chart.

As a songwriter, RAYE has contributed to the next projects by Rihanna [Roc Nation], Little Mix [Syco Music], Rita Ora [Atlantic], Mabel McVey [Polydor], Era Istrefi [Ultra Music], Rudimental [Atlantic], Anne-Marie [Major Tom’s Music], Naughty Boy [Virgin EMI] and Ellie Goulding [Polydor].

Her previous songwriting credits include Blonde’s “Just for One Night,” 5 After Midnight’s “Up in Here,” Tara Carosielli’s “Money,” Jax Jones’ “You Don’t Know Me,” Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Matoma’s “The Wave,” Snakehips’ “Don’t Leave,” and M.O.’s “Not in Love.”

Glynne’s second studio collection, on the other hand, reportedly delivers further contributions from Toby Gad (Leona Lewis), Kid Harpoon (Denai Moore), Sam Romans (Craig David), Jamie Scott (Anne-Marie), GRADES (Sinead Harnett), Kamille (Olly Murs) and Ed Sheeran (Justin Bieber).

For the follow-up to 2015’s “I Cry When I Laugh,” Glynne has also reunited with Jonny Coffer (Ella Eyre), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding), Talay Riley (Nick Jones) and Steve Mac (Jasmine Thompson).

Mullally enlists Amy Wadge for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Connor Mullally-Knight, professionally known as Mullally, has enlisted the songwriting services of Amy Wadge for his upcoming debut project under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

Wadge recently co-wrote “Galway Girl,” “Save Myself,” “Nancy Mulligan” and “Barcelona,” taken from Ed Sheeran’s chart topping album, “Divide.”

Her extensive resume boasts further credits with Jasmine Thompson (“Let Myself Try”), Molly Kate Kestner (“I Don’t Know”), Geri Halliwell (“If You Love Someone”), Dua Lipa (“Down Boys”), Una Healy (“Stay My Love”), Jamie Lawson (“Don’t Let Me Let You Go”), Frances (“Those Who Wait”), Gabrielle Aplin (“You Don’t Live Here Anymore”) and James Blunt (“Paradise”).

Mullally’s first studio collection, on the other hand, is expected to boast additional songwriting contributions and productions from Cool & Dre (Jazmine Sullivan), Max McElligott (Craig David), GRADES (Raleigh Ritchie), Jonny Coffer (Calum Scott), Ari PenSmith (Lily Allen), New Machine (Tigga Da Author), Jordan Riley (Grace Carter) and MNEK (Zara Larsson).

His current promotional singles “Wonderful,” “Overdose” and “Troubled Love” are now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Sigrid delivers music video for new single “Plot Twist”

Sigrid has delivered the music video for her new single online.

The Norwegian singer/songwriter (born Sigrid Solbakk Raabe) posted the visual clip for “Plot Twist” to her Vevo channel on Friday (July 07, 2017).

The track, which follows the Martin Sjolie-produced “Don’t Kill My Vibe,” was written by Sigrid alongside George and Henry Flint of songwriting and production duo The 23rd.

Sigrid’s upcoming project, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Future Cut (Ella Eyre), Justin Parker (Grace Carter), Electric (Little Mix), Fred Ball (Rihanna), Laconic (Antigoni Buxton), Joe Janiak (Snakehips), Al Shux (Leona Lewis) and Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande).

British singer/songwriter Amber-Simone has teamed with Jake Norman and Samuel Knowles of Manchester-based duo Shy Luv for their new promotional single “First Fires,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Simone is expected to release her upcoming debut project – featuring current single “Taught Me Better” – later this year via Juicebox Recordings.

Amber-Simone has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Taught Me Better” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 04, 2017).

The track marks the first promotional cut from Simone’s upcoming debut project under Juicebox Recordings.

Other songs expected to appear on the still-untitled collection are “For Now it Hurts,” “Gates,” “Islands,” “Learn to Fight” and “Take Back Time.”

Coffer previously co-wrote “No Rights No Wrongs” for Glynne alongside Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, James Newman, Knox Brown, and Finlay “Startsmith” Dow-Smith. The track appears on Glynne’s debut album, “I Cry When I Laugh,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Scott is known for co-writing Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Skin,” Jessie Ware’s “Me Before You,” The Beach’s “Geronimo,” Ady Suleiman’s “Wait for You,” Major Lazer’s “Cold Water,” Niall Horan’s “This Town,” Gavin James’ “Bitter Pill,” The Vamps’ “Wild Heart,” and Arlissa’s “Sticks & Stones.”
