Noah Cyrus hits the studio with Emily Weisband, Big Taste for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Noah Cyrus has teamed with Emily Weisband and Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt for a new collaboration.

Weisband recently co-wrote “Consequences” for Camila Cabello alongside Amy Wadge and Nicolle Galyon. The track appears on Cabello’s debut album “Camila,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, Big Taste’s songwriting/production resume boasts works with Justin Bieber (“Company”), Madison Beer (“Home with You”), Dua Lipa (“Genesis”), Adam Lambert (“Two Fux”), Maty Noyes (“Falling Out of Love”), Jake Miller (“Superhuman”) and Phoebe Ryan (“Forgetting All About You”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Cyrus’ upcoming debut album “NC-17” – featuring the Savan Kotecha-penned / Max Martin and Ali Payami-produced single “We Are Fucked” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Barry Weiss’ label RECORDS in partnership with Sony Music imprint Columbia Records.

The highly-anticipated project reportedly yields additional productions and songwriting contributions from Benny Cassette, Stint, Two Inch Punch, Sasha Sloan, Jonathan Rotem, Noonie Bao, Sam Romans, and Jenna Andrews.

Keith Urban delivers new promotional single “Parallel Line”

New Zealand-born Australian country music singer/songwriter Keith Urban has delivered his new promotional single online.

“Parallel Line” – which was written by Ed Sheeran alongside Johnny McDaid, Amy Wadge, Julia Michaels, and Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in various medial outlets, Urban’s upcoming tenth album “Graffiti U” – featuring previous promotional single “Female” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Capitol Nashville / Hit Red Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Ripcord” reportedly yields additional alliances with Jason Evigan, Chris Wallace, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Matthew Radosevich, Francis “Eg” White, Shy Carter, Hillary Lindsey, and Greg Wells.

Irish singer/songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, known mononymously as RuthAnne, is planning to release new music from her debut album in 2018.

Alongside record producers Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander, RuthAnne has co-penned songs for Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”) and Leona Lewis (“Perfection”).

Her extensive resume boasts additional songwriting works with Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”), Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”), Britney Spears (“Work Bitch”), Pixie Lott (“Broken Arrow”), Third Story (“G Train”), Jasmine V (“Jealous”), Zac Samuel (“Never Letting Go”), Nadine Coyle (“Running”), One Direction (“No Control”) and Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”).

Recent songwriting credits by Michaels include Maroon 5’s “Lips on You,” Jessie Ware’s “Hearts,” Clean Bandit’s “I Miss You,” Pink’s “Barbies,” Snakehips’ “Either Way,” Justin Bieber’s “Friends,” Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” and Sofia Carson’s “Ins & Outs.”

Meanwhile, Rotem is responsible for producing Gwen Stefani’s “Used to Love You,” Charlie Puth’s “Dangerously,” Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah,” Jason Derulo’s “Pick Up the Pieces,” Meghan Trainor’s “No Good for You,” Rick Ross’ “Can’t Say No,” and Linkin Park’s “Talking to Myself.”

Kelly Clarkson has unwrapped the tracklisting for her upcoming eighth album “Meaning of Life,” which will arrive on October 27 via Atlantic Records.

Featuring current singles “Love So Soft” and “Move on You;” the follow-up to 2015’s “Piece By Piece” boasts songwriting contributions from MoZella (Charlie Puth), Audra Mae (Fantasia), Priscilla Renea (Alicia Keys), Ilsey Juber (Beyonce), Harloe (Nick Jonas) and Michael Pollack (Charli XCX).
