John Newman delivers new promotional single “Fire in Me”

British singer/songwriter John Newman has delivered his new single online.

“Fire in Me” – which was co-written by James Newman, David “Dave the Doctor” Mørup, and Philip Plested – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Newman is scheduled to release his third album and follow-up to 2015’s “Revolve” later this year via Island Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further contributions from The Electric, Fred Ball, Evan Bogart, Jonathan Rotem, Andrew Jackson, Johnny McDaid, Foy Vance, Jamie Hartman, Max McElligott, Johnny Ghost, Digital Farm Animals, Guy Chambers, Jonny Coffer, and Goldfingers.

As a songwriter, Newman recently co-write “‘Til I’m Done” for Paloma Faith alongside regular collaborators Wayne Hector and TMS (aka Peter “Merf” Kelleher, Benjamin Kohn, and Thomas “Froe” Barnes).

Mabel hits the studio with Corey Sanders, Jonny Coffer

Swedish singer/songwriter Mabel McVey, known mononymously as Mabel, has teamed up with Corey Sanders and Jonny Coffer for a new collaboration.

Sanders recently co-wrote “You are the Reason” for British recording artist Calum Scott alongside regular collaborator Jon Maguire. The Fraser T. Smith-produced track appears on Scott’s upcoming debut album “Only Human,” which will arrive on March 9th via Capitol Records.

Meanwhile, Coffer’s songwriting/production resume boasts works with Beyonce (“Freedom”), Emeli Sande (“Shakes”), Rag’n’Bone Man (“Skin”), Jess Glynne (“No Rights, No Wrongs”), James Arthur (“Get Down”), Weezer (“Feels Like Summer”) and Fall Out Boy (“Hold Me Tight or Don’t”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mabel’s upcoming project – featuring the Marlon Roudette-assisted / JD Reid-produced “Fine Line” – is expected to arrive later this year via Polydor Records.

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has liberated her new single online.

“Proud” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Rachel “Raye” Keen alongside Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett and Fridolin “Freedo” Walcher – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ora’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring previous promotional singles “Anywhere” and “This Song” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

British singer/songwriter Ella Eyre (real name Ella Mary McMahon) has drafted Banx & Ranx for a new collaboration.

Composed of Zacharie Raymond and Yannick Rastogi; the Canadian songwriting/production duo are known for helming singles performed by Olly Murs (“Kiss Me”), KStewart (“Sex for Breakfast”), Lady Leshurr (“OMW”), Stylo G (“Under Construction”), Kevin Lyttle (“Slow Motion”), Alx Veliz (“Duele”) and Paris & Simo f/ Karen Harding (“Come as You Are”).

Banx & Ranx have also worked with songwriters and fellow producers including Supa Dups, Ayak Thiik, Di Genius, Raye, Arnthor Birgisson, Chelcee Grimes, Arnthor Birgisson, Cleo Tighe, Lil Eddie, Angela Hunte, Steve Robson, Lindy Robbins, Billboard, Grace Tither, Adam Baptiste, and Ina Wroldsen.

British singer/songwriter Rita Ora has teamed up with fellow recording artist Liam Payne on her next promotional single “For You,” which will arrive on January 5th via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Taken from the original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades Freed,” the track was written by Ali Tamposi (Camila Cabello, Selena Gomez), Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber, Charlie Puth) and Ali Payami (Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey).

Thomas is responsible for co-writing Jorja Smith’s “On My Mind,” Louis Mattrs’ “Pink Lemonade,” Kiah Victoria’s “Cold War,” Zac Abel’s “Everybody Needs Love,” Aquilo’s “Thin,” and Maverick Sabre’s “Falling Again.”
