Sigma hits the studio with Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Jean Baptiste Kouame

British drum and bass duo Sigma – composed of Joseph “Joe” Lenzie and Cameron “Cam” Edwards – have recorded new music with Eyelar Mirzazadeh and Jean Baptiste Kouame for their upcoming sophomore album.

Mirzazadeh previously featured on the track “Stay,” taken from Sigma’s debut album, 2015’s “Life.” She is also known for co-writing Charli XCX’s “After the Afterparty,” Diztortion’s “I’ll Be There,” Yellow Claw’s “Catch Me,” R3hab’s “Get Up,” Taya’s “Got Me Wondering,” and Redlight’s “Here with Me.”

Meanwhile, Kouame’s songwriting resume boasts works with Little Mix (“F.U.”), Kelis (“Scream”), AlunaGeorge (“Full Swing”), Rihanna (“Woo”), Nikki Minaj (“The Boys”), Madonna (“I’m a Sinner”), Rudimental (“Foreign World”), Leah McFall (“Home”), DJ Mustard (“Whole Lotta Lovin’”), Bonnie McKee (“Broken Record”), Laura Izibor (“Carousel”) and Sevyn Streeter (“It Won’t Stop”).

Sigma’s second studio collection, on the other hand, is expected to arrive later this year via Independent UK dance record label, 3BEAT Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further songwriting contributions from Sam Romans, Jamie Hartman, Cass Lowe, Paddy Byrne, Ollie Green, Shola Ama, Ed Drewett, Bryn Christopher, Chelcee Grimes, Jimmy Napes, Arrow Benjamin, Ina Wroldsen, Jamie Scott, Talay Riley, Chiara Hunter, Ed Thomas, Josh Record, Dantae Johnson, Max McElligott, and Jonny Harris.

Sigma’s debut album, 2015’s “Life,” peaked to number two on the UK Dance Albums Chart and spawned guest apperances from Jetta John-Hartley (“Slow Down”), Rita Ora (“Coming Home”), Labrinth (“Higher”), Ella Henderson (“Glitterball”) and Paloma Faith (“Changing”).

Kacy Hill confirms title for new single

Kacy Hill has confirmed the title for her new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Hard to Love” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Kanye West’s label GOOD (Getting Out of Your Dreams) Music and Def Jam Recordings.

“Hard to Love” follows previous single “Lions,” which was collectively produced by Jamie Hartman of Ben’s Brother and Stuart Price.

Other producers expected to appear on the album are Alex Hope (Troye Sivan), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David), Two Inch Punch (Noah Cyrus), BURNS (Charli XCX), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Matt “Aqualung” Hales (Lianne La Havas), Steve Booker (Pixie Lott), Kid Harpoon (Eliza Doolittle), Luke Laird (Kacey Musgraves), Joel Little (Ellie Goulding) and Daniel Heath (Lana Del Rey).

On the songwriting front, Hill has reportedly collaborated with Natalie Hemby (Carly Rae Jepsen), Autumn Rowe (Dua Lipa), Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele), Andrew Wyatt (Lion Babe), Chelsea Lena (Sabrina Carpenter), Diana Gordon (Rita Ora) and Jonny “Ghost” Harris (Ed Sheeran).

Hill’s mini-collection “Bloo” – featuring “Foreign Fields,” “Arm’s Length” and “Shades of Blue” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
