Imani Williams unleashes new promotional single “Dumb”

Imani Williams has unleashed her new promotional single online.

“Dumb” – featuring Tiggs Da Author and Belly Squad – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Co-written by Chiara Hunter and collectively produced by ADP, Sigala and Show n Prove; the track samples “Dumb” by British girl group The 411, which peaked to number three on the UK Singles Chart in 2004.

Besides writing songs for David Guetta’s next album, Williams’ upcoming project – featuring previous single “Don’t Need No Money” – is expected to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers further contributions from Electric, Carla Monroe, Jonny Hockings, Anita Blay, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Lauren Aquilina, Michael Angelo, Natasha Bedingfield, and Laconic.

Arlissa teams up with Carmen Reece, Andre Harris for new collaboration

American-German singer/songwriter Arlissa has enlisted Carmen Reece and Andre Harris for a new collaboration.

Reece is responsible for co-writing Craig David’s “I Know You,” Tamar Braxton’s “Blind,” K. Michelle’s “Make the Bed,” Teyana Taylor’s “Put Your Love On,” Michelle Williams’ “Say Yes,” and Ariana Grande’s “Right There.”

Meanwhile, Harris’ songwriting and production resume boasts works with Usher (“Caught Up”), Destiny’s Child (“T-Shirt”), Ciara (“Oh”), Mariah Carey (“Lullaby”), Chris Brown (“Hold Up”) and Alicia Keys (“So Simple”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Arlissa has signed a new deal with Def Jam Recordings and is currently working on her upcoming debut project.

The still-untitled collection reportedly yields additional alliances with Lostboy, Pip Kembo, Martin Sjolie, Patrick Patrikious, Anita Blay, Jonny Hockings, Martin Terefe, Bastian Langebaek, Malay, Ari PenSmith, Shea Taylor, and Fred Ball.

Era Istrefi has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Oh God” – which was co-written by Chloe Angelides, Brett “Leland” McLaughlin, and Jonas Jeberg – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal, and all other digital streaming outlets.

Estrefi’s debut album – featuring previous singles “Prisoner,” “Origami,” “No More I Love Yous,” “Redrum” and “Bonbon” – is expected to arrive later this year via Neser Music in partnership with Ultra Records / B1 Recordings.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from TMS, Chelcee Grimes, Hit Impulse, Maegan Cottone, Two Inch Punch, Sarah Hudson, Fred Ball, Sam Romans, Rami Yacoub, Jonny Hockings, and Red Triangle.

American-German singer/songwriter Arlissa has signed a new record deal with Def Jam Recordings, which is also home to artists including Justin Bieber, Teyana Taylor, Kanye West, Jhene Aiko, Big Sean, and Alessia Cara.

Arlissa’s current promotional single “Hearts Ain’t Gonna Lie” – which was remixed by Jonas Blue and co-written by fellow recording artist Senai Tedros – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

For her upcoming project, Arlissa has reportedly teamed up with Lostboy, Pip Kembo, Martin Sjolie, Patrick Patrikious, Anita Blay, Jonny Hockings, Martin Terefe, Bastian Langebaek, Malay, Ari PenSmith, Shea Taylor, and Fred Ball.

Arlissa also co-wrote “Just Us” for Kara Marni alongside Jonathan Clare and James Tadgell of UK songwriting/production duo All About She. The track is slotted for inclusion on Marni’s next project under Access Records.

“Prisoner” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was produced by Maor Levi and penned by Emily Warren and Scott Harris, who are also responsible for Alessia Cara’s “The Other Side,” Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” Anne-Marie’s “Trigger,” Shawn Mendes’ “Aftertaste,” and Chainsmokers’ “The One.”

Imani Williams has teased a new collaboration with David Guetta.

“Writing for David Guetta today,” the British singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram Story on Tuesday (May 07, 2018).

Williams previously co-penned “Won’t Forget You” for Pixie Lott alongside Sarah Blanchard, Richard Boardman, and Pablo Bowman of songwriting/production collective The Six.

Her upcoming project under Sony Music UK reportedly boasts contributions from The Electric, Anita Blay, Jonny Hockings, Maegan Cottone, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Natasha Bedingfield, Grades, Carla Monroe, Bless Beats, and Chelcee Grimes.

Guetta, on the other hand, is currently working on the follow-up to 2014’s “Listen” with songwriters Karen Poole, Chiara Hunter, Madison Love, Ali Tamposi, Scott Harris, Jin Jin, Kamille, Priscilla Renea, and JHart.

His current promotional single “Flames” – featuring Australian singer/songwriter Sia – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

JONES has shared the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “How About That” was posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Tuesday (May 01, 2018).

Produced by regular collaborator Ollie Green; “How About That” was written by JONES (born Cherie Jones-Mattis) alongside Roy Kerr and Scott Quinn.

JONES’ latest project “The London EP” – featuring further contributions from Jonny Hockings, Lauren Aquilina, Norma Jean Martine, and Moritz Tannhoff – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.
