Carly Rae Jepsen releases new album “Dedicated”

Carly Rae Jepsen has released her fourth studio collection online.

“Dedicated” – featuring singles “Party for One,” “Now That I Found You,” “Julien” and “Too Much” – is now available via all digital streaming outlets.

The album boasts productions from Kyle Shearer, John Hill, Captain Cuts, Patrick Berger, Jack Antonoff, Christopher Baran, Tommy English, Ben Romans, Jordan Palmer, Noah Breakfast, Roget Chahayed, and Pontus Winnberg.

On the follow-up to 2015’s “Emotion,” Jepsen has also worked with songwriters Tavish Crowe, Julia Karlsson, Nate Cyphert, Daniel Ledinsky, Noonie Bao, James Flannigan, Amanda Warner, and Nate Campany.

Shungudzo unleashes new promotional single “Come On Back”

Zimbabwean/French/Native-American singer-songwriter Alexandra Govere, known mononymously Shungudzo, has unleashed her new single online.

“Come On Back” – which was co-written by Shungudzo alongside fellow recording artist Jenny Owen Youngs – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Come On Back” were handled by Jordan Palmer, whose resume boasts additional works with Andy Grammer (“This Ain’t Love”), Lights (“New Fears”), Allie X (“Paper Love”), Leland (“Mattress”), Liza Owen (“Don’t Call My Baby”), Prince Fox (“Fragile”) and Greyson Chance (“Afterlife”).

The track also appears on the original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades Freed,” out now via Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Having worked with top producers TMS, Scribz Riley, Grades and MNEK; fans of Shungudzo’s works should keep an eye on the next releases by Ella Henderson, Alina Baraz, Tinashe, Liza Owen, and Sabina Ddumba.

Her notable songwriting credits include Little Mix’s “Touch,” Louisa Johnson’s “Best Behaviour,” Jessie Ware’s “Stay Awake, Wait for Me,” The Chainsmokers’ “It Won’t Kill Ya,” Mic Lowry’s “Frustrations,” Girli’s “Not That Girl,” and Whissell’s “Old Souls, Young Bodies.”

LIGHTS reveals release date, tracklisting for sophomore album

LIGHTS has revealed the release date and tracklisting for her upcoming sophomore album.

The Canadian singer/songwriter (born Valerie Poxleitner) will release her second studio collection “Skin & Earth” on September 22 via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

Current promotional single “Savage” – which was co-written and produced by Dylan Bauld – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2014’s “Little Machines” boasts further contributions from Matthew Radosevich (Keith Urban), Corin Roddick (Katy Perry), Fiona Bevan (Ed Sheeran), Jordan Palmer (Allie X), Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk (Dua Lipa), Iain James (Ella Henderson) and Mick Schultz (Kelly Rowland).

Liza Owen delivers new single “Don’t Call Me Baby”

British singer/songwriter Liza Owen has delivered her new single online.

“Don’t Call Me Baby” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Owen co-wrote the track alongside Ali Tamposi, whose other credits include Kygo’s “It Ain’t Me,” DJ Snake’s “Let Me Love You,” Lea Michele’s “Getaway Car,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Stronger,” Rozzi Crane’s “Crazy Ass Bitch,” Demi Lovato’s “Never Been Hurt,” and Alex & Sierra’s “Little Do You Know.”

Production duties on “Don’t Call Me Baby” were handled by Daniel “Robopop” Omelio (Lana Del Rey’s “Video Games” / Britney Spears’ “Just Luv Me”) and Jordan Palmer (Eden XO’s “El Barrio” / Empire Cast’s “Body Speak”).

Owen’s debut project – featuring the Lauren Dyson-penned / Goldfingers-produced “Better with Me” – is expected to arrive later this year.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional productions from Bhavik “Knightstarr” Pattani, Luke Fitton, Hanni “Youthonix” Ibrahim, Mick Schultz, Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale, Benjamin “Benny Cassette” Rotondi, Levi Lennox, and Mac & Phil (Matthew Holmes & Philip Leigh).

Among the songwriters expected to appear on the collection are Negin Djafari, Eyelar Mirzazadeh, Maegan Cottone, Rachel Furner, Shungudzo Kuyimba, Sarah Hudson, Chloe Angelides, Lauren Aquilina, Asia Whiteacre, Ilsey Juber, Danny Parker, Ed Drewett, Corey Sanders, Brian Lee, and Philip Plested.
