Ray BLK hits the studio with Snakehips, Evan “Kidd” Bogart

British singer/songwriter Rita Ekwere, professionally known as Ray BLK, has teamed up with Snakehips and Evan “Kidd” Bogart for a new collaboration.

Composed of Oliver Lee and James Carter; Snakehips are known for their works with Aanysa (“Burn Break Crash”), Malika (“Fall for You”), Anne-Marie (“Either Way”), Sinead Harnett (“Days with You”), Tinashe (“All My Friends”), MØ (“Don’t Leave”) and Anderson Paak (“Money on Me”).

On the songwriting front, Bogart is responsible for co-penning Madonna’s “Ghosttown,” Britney Spears’s “Love Me Down,” ZZ Ward’s “Help Me Mama,” Leona Lewis’s’ “Happy,” Beyonce’s “Halo,” Jason Derulo’s “It Girl,” Olivia Holt’s “History,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Black Heart,” and Rihanna’s “S.O.S.”

Meanwhile, BLK’s upcoming project – featuring current promotional single “Doing Me” – is scheduled to arrive later this year via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts contributions from Chris Loco (Diana Gordon), Moon Willis (Justine Skye), Paul Epworth (FKA twigs), Cass Lowe (Niia Rocco), MNEK (Demi Lovato), Jax Jones (Selena Gomez), Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre), Courage (Foxes) and Jordan Riley (Nina Nesbitt).

Foxes drafts Captain Cuts for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Louisa Rose Allen, known mononymously as Foxes, has drafted Captain Cuts for a new collaboration.

The LA-based songwriting and production team (composed of Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Rabin) are known for their works with Bebe Rexha (“I Got You”), The Chainsmokers (“Break Up Every Night”), Halsey (“Roman Holiday”), Sabrina Carpenter (“Two Young Hearts”) and Neon Trees (“Feels Good”).

Additionally, Captain Cuts’ current promotional single “Cocaina” – featuring Rich The Kid & Daniels – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Foxes is expected to release her third studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “All I Need,” later this year via Sign of the Times in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The still-untitled collection reportedly boasts additional alliances with Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding), Laura Dockrill (Jessie Ware), Courage (Ray BLK), Jonny Harris (Ella Eyre), Max McElligott (Rita Ora), Linus Wiklund (Paloma Faith), Kid Harpoon (Denai Moore) and Starsmith (Jess Glynne).

Amber-Simone connects with Shy Luv for new single “First Fires”

British singer/songwriter Amber-Simone has teamed with Jake Norman and Samuel Knowles of Manchester-based duo Shy Luv for their new promotional single “First Fires,” now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Simone is expected to release her upcoming debut project – featuring current single “Taught Me Better” – later this year via Juicebox Recordings.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers contributions from LOSTBOY (Becky Hill), Fraser T. Smith (Lauren Faith), STINT (Tayla Parx), Luke Fitton (Etham), Jonny Coffer (Ella Eyre), Bastian Langebaek (Jessie Ware), Felix Joseph (Kevin Garrett) and Cass Lowe (Astrid S).

Amber-Simone premieres music video for new single “Taught Me Better”

Amber-Simone has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Taught Me Better” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 04, 2017).

The track marks the first promotional cut from Simone’s upcoming debut project under Juicebox Recordings.

Other songs expected to appear on the still-untitled collection are “For Now it Hurts,” “Gates,” “Islands,” “Learn to Fight” and “Take Back Time.”

On the songwriting and production front, Simone has worked with LOSTBOY (Saz Close), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David), STINT (Sabrina Claudio), Luke Fitton (Kylie Minogue), Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande), Bastian Langebaek (Jessie Ware), Felix Joseph (Abi Ocia) and Cass Lowe (Sam Smith).

The UK record producer and songwriter, born Joseph Carson, previously collaborated with artists including Taya (“Looking For”), Ray BLK (“My Hood”), Lao Ra (“Wild at Heart”), Tara Carosielli (“Lunatic”), Amber Simone (“Let You Go”), Liv Dawson (“The Less You Know the Better) and JONES (“Limbo”).

His EP “Get Some Courage, Volume 1” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Foxes is expected to release her third studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “All I Need,” later this year via Sign of the Times in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK.

British singer/songwriter Tara Carosielli has released her debut EP online.

“I Know You Hate Me” – featuring “Holloway Road,” “Money,” “Lunatic” and “Blood on My Shoes” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The mini-collection boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Joe “Courage” Carson (Taya, Lao Ra), Maaike “KiTo” Lebbing (Noonie Bao, Reija Lee), Hannah Yadi (Maxine Ashley, Frank Gamble) and Rachel “RAYE” Keen (Anne-Marie, Mabel McVey).

Courage drafts Lao Ra for new single “Wild at Heart”

British record producer and songwriter Courage – real name Joseph Carson – has released his new promotional single online.

“Wild at Heart” – featuring vocals from Columbian singer/songwriter Lao Ra – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by regular collaborator Laura Dockrill, who previously teamed up with Courage on the Taya-featuring “Looking For” and Josh Record-assisted “Come Alive.”

Dockrill’s other songwriting credits include JONES’ “Hoops,” Anne-Marie’s “Karate,” Jorja Smith’s “Angel,” Dornik’s “Drive,” Javeon’s “Give Up,” Blonde’s “Foolish,” Dua Lipa’s “Blame,” and Jessie Ware’s “Small Talk.”

Meanwhile, Courage’s second mini-collection, “Get Some Courage, Volume 2,” will arrive later this year via Beastly Recordings.
