Ella Henderson confirms new song title “Until You Love Me”

Ella Henderson has confirmed a new song title from her sophomore album.

“Until You Love Me” is slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s second studio collection, which will arrive later this year via Rudimental’s Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Atlantic Records UK.

The track was co-written by Rachel Furner alongside Jez Ashurst, whose credits also include Tom Walker’s “Blessings,” OneRepublic’s “Start Again,” Una Healy’s “Angel Like You,” Samantha Jade’s “Hurt Anymore,” Gabrielle Aplin’s “Panic Cord,” and Little Mix’s “Secret Love Song.”

Other musicians expected to appear on Henderson’s sophomore album are Jordan Riley, Trey Campbell, Casey Smith, Jake Gosling, Al Shux, Richard “Biff” Stannard, Paul O’Duffy, Josh Record, and The Stereotypes.

Released in 2014 via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music, Henderson’s debut studio collection “Chapter One” topped the UK Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Ghost,” “Glow,” “Yours” and “Mirror Man.”

Becky Hill releases new promotional single “I Could Get Used to This”

Becky Hill has released her new promotional single online.

“I Could Get Used to This” – which was collectively produced by Mark Ralph and Richard “Weiss” Dinsdale – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was also co-written by Hill alongside regular collaborators Ryan Ashley (Samantha Mumba, Christina Aguilera), Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue) and Michael Kintish (Jojo, Eric Saade).

Hill’s debut album – featuring previous single “Sunrise in the East” (which was co-written by Maverick Sabre and collectively produced by Lostboy, Hitimpulse and ADP) – is expected to arrive later this year via Polydor Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers further contributions from The 23rd (Ellie Goulding), Rachel Furner (Craig David), Diztortion (Melissa Steel), Plested (Little Mix), Ed Drewett (Sinead Harnett), Josh Record (Ella Henderson), Ollie Green (Stephen Puth) and Karen Poole (Louise Redknapp).

Ella Henderson signs new record deal with Rudimental’s Major Tom’s Music

Ella Henderson has signed a new record deal with Rudimental’s Major Tom’s Music, which is an imprint of Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records UK.

The label also houses fellow recording artists Dan Caplen and Anne-Marie, whose debut album “Speak Your Mind” peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “2002,” “Friends” and “Alarm.”

Since the release of her 2014 debut album “Chapter One,” Henderson has worked with songwriters and producers including Richard “Biff” Stannard, Paul O’Duffy, Josh Record, Moon Willis, Fred Ball, Two Inch Punch, Martin Sjolie, Dallas Austin, Cass Lowe, Fraser T. Smith, and Arrow Benjamin.

She has also co-penned Olivia Nelson’s “Back When” (w/ Fred Cox), Paloma Faith’s “Guilty” (w/ TMS and Wayne Hector) and Gabby Barrett’s “Rivers Deep” (w/ Andrew Goldstein, Emanuel Kiriakou, Harloe, and Evan Bogart).

Jorja Smith reveals song titles from upcoming debut album

British singer/songwriter Jorja Smith is scheduled to release her debut album – featuring current promotional single “Let Me Down” – in June via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the additional tracks slotted for inclusion on the still-untitled project are “Wandering Romance,” “On Your Own,” “The One,” “Lifeboats” and “Broken.”

Album songwriters and producers are Ed Thomas (Kiah Victoria), Joel Compass (Tinashe), Paul Epworth (FKA twigs), Amanda Ghost (Beyonce), Felix Joseph (Abi Ocia), Kito (Mabel McVey) and Josh Record (Dua Lipa).

Jorja Smith liberates new promotional single “Fine Line”

Jorja Smith has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Fine Line” – which appears on the original motion soundtrack for Issa Rae’s hit TV series “Insecure: Season 2” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Smith alongside regular collaborator Ed Thomas, whose other credits include Louis Mattrs’ “Pink Lemonade,” Blonde’s “Higher Ground,” Kiah Victoria’s “Cold War,” Zac Abel’s “Everybody Needs Love,” Sinead Harnett’s “Dollar Bill,” and Maverick Sabre’s “Falling Again.”

Production duties on “Fine Line” were handled by Bradford Ellis, who is also responsible for Anne-Marie’s “Karate,” Slo’s “Shut Out of Paradise,” Leona Lewis’ “One More Sleep,” Eva Lazarus’ “Bad News,” Rebecca Ferguson’s “Without a Woman,” and Maisie Peters’ “Place We Were Made.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Smith’s upcoming debut studio collection – featuring previous singles “Teenage Fantasy,” “Beautiful Little Fools” and “On My Mind” – is expected to arrive later this year.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Felix Joseph (Abi Ocia), Joel Compass (Tinashe), Amanda Ghost (Laura Welsh), Illangelo (Emeli Sande), Laura Dockrill (Foxes), Josh Record (Dua Lipa) and Two Inch Punch (Jessie Reyez).

Jorja Smith has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter christened “On My Mind” – featuring Preditah – as her next promotional cut and will release it on August 24 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written with Ed Thomas, whose resume boasts further works with Purple Ferdinand (“Birds”), Zak Abel (“Say Sumthin”), Kiah Victoria (“Cold War”), Maverick Sabre (“Falling Again”), Charli Taft (“Higher Ground”), Jacob Banks (“Witness”) and Sinead Harnett (“Dollar Bill”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Smith’s upcoming debut studio collection – featuring the Charlie Perry-assisted singles “Teenage Fantasy” and “Beautiful Little Fools” – is expected to arrive later this year.

DAKOTA enlists KIN for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Sophie Elton, professionally known as DAKOTA, has teamed up with fellow recording artist KIN for a new collaboration. Born Kane Parfitt, the Sony/ATV signee is known for co-writing and producing The Chainsmokers’ “Bloodstream,” Plested’s “Habits,” Naughty Boy’s “Should’ve Been Me,” Carys Selvey’s “Shallow,” and Grace Ackerman’s “Hold Me.”

Fans of KIN’s works should also keep an eye on the next releases by Chloe x Halle, Taya, Ella Henderson, Lovelle, Grace Carter, Mali-Koa, Calum Scott, Mahalia, Tamera Foster, Ava Lily, Liza Owen, and Molly Kate Kestner.

His current promotional single “Let Go of the Summer” – featuring Robbie Jay – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, DAKOTA’s upcoming debut project – featuring “Lonely Like a Fool” and “Long Hot Summer” – is expected to arrive later this year via 70Hz Recordings and Virgin EMI Records.

Executive-produced by Fraser T. Smith, the still-untitled collection reportedly delivers additional alliances with Mac & Phil, Jordan Riley, Tre Jean-Marie, LOSTBOY, Fred Cox, Two Inch Punch, Luke Fitton, Phil Cook, Maths Time Joy, DJ Freedo, Josh Record, Bless Beats, and Future Cut.
