Pop starlet Katharine McPhee has enlisted the production services of Linda Perry for her upcoming third album, which is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

Perry is known for co-writing and producing tracks such as “Pray for Forgiveness” by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / J Records], “Lift Me Up” by Christina Aguilera [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “My Love” by Celine Dion [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].

She has also collaborated with artists including Britney Spears [RCA Records], Cover Drive [Polydor Records], Stooshe [Future Cut Recordings], Gwen Stefani [Interscope Records], Nerina Pallot [Polydor Records], Daniel Powter [Warner Bros. Records], Goapele [Skyblaze Recordings] and Pink [RCA Records].

Becky G has teamed up with the Cataracs for her upcoming debut album, due later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Kemosabe / RCA Records.

The hitmaker – real name Niles “Cyrano” Hollowell-Dhar – is responsible for singles “In the Dark” by Dev [Universal Music Group / Republic Records], “Backseat” by New Boyz [Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records] and “I’m On It” by 50 Cent [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records].

He also confirmed songwriting and production placements on the next albums by Enrique Iglesias [Universal Music Group / Interscope Records], Jennifer Lopez [Universal Music Group / Island Def Jam Recordings] and Beyonce Knowles [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].

Lauriana Mae has added Canadian singer/songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk to the list of songwriters for her upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, out soon via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Recent credits by the Chantal Kreviazuk include “Not At All” by Stefanie Heinzmann [Universal Music Group / Island Records], “Daydream” by Miranda Cosgrove [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “Over My Body” by Drake [Universal Music Group / Republic Records].

Meanwhile, Lauriana Mae was recently featured on Cee Lo Green’s new single “Only You.” The track is taken from his upcoming fifth album, tentatively entitled “Cee Lo Green… Is Everybody’s Brother.”
