David Guetta reveals details for seventh album

David Guetta has revealed the details for his upcoming album.

The French DJ, record producer and songwriter christened his seventh studio collection “7” and will release it on September 14th via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records (US) / Parlophone Records (UK).

The follow-up to to 2014’s “Listen” boasts guest appearances from Anne-Marie, Fouzia, Sia, Madison Beer, Bebe Rexha, Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj, Saweetie, Justin Bieber, Stefflon Don, Ava Max, and Jess Glynne.

On the songwriting and production front, Guetta has teamed up with Stargate, Priscilla Renea, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Kamille, Christopher Braide, Hillary Lindsey, Cirkut, Noonie Bao, Mike Eyal Aljadeff, and Sarah Aarons.

Justin Bieber liberates new promotional single “Friends”

Justin Bieber has liberated his new promotional single online.

“Friends” – which was co-written alongside Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and Michael “BloodPop” Tucker – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Bieber’s upcoming fifth album is expected to arrive later this year via School Boy Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings and Republic Records.

His previous studio collection, 2015’s “Purpose,” debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles international hit singles including “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean” and “Love Yourself.”

Justin Bieber has confirmed the details for his new single.

The Canadian singer/songwriter christened “Can We Still Be Friends” as his next promotional cut and will release it on August 18 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

“Can We Still Be Friends” reunites Bieber with Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter and BloodPop, who previously teamed up with the artist on “Sorry,” which topped both the UK Singles Chart and US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

The songwriting trio are also responsible for Britney Spears’ “Better,” John Legend’s “What You Do to Me,” Pia Mia’s “Touch,” Jasmine Thompson’s “Wanna Know Love,” and Tinashe’s “Just Like You.”

Meanwhile, Bieber’s fifth album and follow-up to 2015’s “Purpose” is expected to arrive later this year via Def Jam (US) and Virgin EMI Records (UK).

Justin Bieber has shared a new music video online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “I’ll Show You” to his Vevo channel on Monday (November 02, 2015).

“I’ll Show You” was co-written by Josh Gudwin along with Mike “Blood Diamonds” Tucker (Raye, Pia Mia), Theron “Neff-U” Feemster (Eminem, Mary J. Blige) and Sonny “Skrillex” Moore (Kiesza, AlunaGeorge).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Bieber’s fourth studio collection “Purpose” – featuring singles “What Do You Mean?” and “Sorry” – will hit stores on November 13 through Def Jam Recordings (US) and Virgin EMI Records (UK).

Other album contributors include Ed Sheeran (Tori Kelly), Benny Blanco (Ariana Grande), Julia Michaels (Demi Lovato), Ian Kirkpatrick (Nick Jonas), Justin Tranter (Kelly Clarkson) and Axident (Jason Derulo).

Justin Bieber has released the lyric video for his new single online.

The Canadian singer/songwriter posted the lyrical clip for “Sorry” to his Vevo channel on Thursday (October 29, 2015).

“Sorry” was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who are also responsible for Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [RCA], Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic] and Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope].

Production duties were collectively handled by Skrillex and Blood Diamonds, who recently co-wrote and produced Pia Mia’s “Touch” [Interscope], Raye’s “Tell Me” [Polydor] and Tinashe’s “Bet” [RCA].

Bieber is scheduled to release his fourth studio collection “Purpose” – featuring previous singles “Where Are U Now” and “What Do You Mean?” – on November 13 through Def Jam Recordings [US] and Virgin EMI Records [UK].

The Canadian singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Purpose” on November 13 through Def Jam Recordings (US) and Virgin EMI Records (UK).

Current single “Sorry” was co-written by Julia Michaels (Rita Ora, Pia Mia) and Justin Tranter (Fifth Harmony, Selena Gomez) and produced by Skrillex (Kiesza, AlunaGeorge) and Blood Diamonds (Tinashe, Mikky Ekko).

Other album producers include Mike Dean (Madonna), Benny Blanco (Miguel), Neff-U (Brandy), Soundz (Ciara), MdL (Mike Posner), Josh Abraham (Usher), Oligee (Jessie J), Ian Kirkpatrick (Chromeo) and Andre Harris (Jill Scott).

On the songwriting front, Bieber also teamed up with Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd (Kelly Rowland), Ed Sheeran (Tori Kelly), James “JHart” Abrahart (Fleur East), Clarence Coffee Jr. (Zendaya) and Sarah Hudson (Katy Perry).

Ed Sheeran to re-release sophomore album “X” in November

Ed Sheeran has confirmed plans to re-release his sophomore album.

The British singer, songwriter, and record producer is scheduled to release “X (Webley Edition)” on November 13 through Atlantic Records.

The repackaged edition features live performances of “Parting Glass,” “Small Bump” and the Rudimental-assisted “Lay It All On Me.”

Furthermore, it includes four new songs in the shape of “English Rose,” “Touch and Go,” “New York” and “Make it Rain.”

Commercial performance-wise, the initial edition of “X” – featuring hit singles “Sing,” “Don’t,” “Thinking Out Loud,” “Photograph” and “Bloodstream” – debuted at number one on both US and UK Albums Chart.

That collection also delivered alliances with Jake Gosling (Christina Perri), Amy Wadge (Jasmine Thompson), Pharrell Williams (Beyonce), Benny Blanco (The Weeknd), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys) and Emile Haynie (Bruno Mars).

On the songwriting front, Sheeran has contributed to the upcoming fourth studio album by Justin Bieber. “Purpose” will hit stores and digital outlets on November 13 through Island Records (UK) and Def Jam Recordings (US).

Sheeran previously co-wrote / produced songs for Hilary Duff (“Tattoo”), Jessie Ware (“Say You Love Me”), Rixton (“Hotel Ceiling”), Tori Kelly (“I Was Made for Loving You”) and One Direction (“Little Things”).
