Justine Skye liberates new promotional single “Don’t Think About It”

Justine Skye has liberated her new promotional single online.

“Don’t Think About It” – which was co-written by fellow recording artists Raye and Sam Romans – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Don’t Think About It” were handled by Thomas “Froe” Barnes, Benjamin Kohn and Peter “Merf” Kelleher of TMS, who also contributed to the next projects by Maroon 5 (“Denim Jacket”), Paloma Faith (“I’ll Be Gentle”), Niall Horan (“On My Own”) and Calum Scott (“The Wire”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “U Don’t Know,” “Flames” and “Back for More” – is expected to arrive later this year via Roc Nation Records.

Justine Skye has announced the details for her new promotional single.

The American singer/songwriter dubbed “Don’t Think About It” as her next promotional cut and will release it on October 13 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Rachel “Raye” Keen alongside Roc Nation signee Sam Romans, whose other credits include Craig David’s “Heartline,” Noah Cyrus’ “I’m Stuck,” Clean Bandit’s “Tears,” Mary J. Blige’s “Doubt,” AlunaGeorge’s “I’m in Control,” and Kwabs’ “Father Figure.”

Production duties on “Don’t Think About It” were handled by TMS, who are also responsible for Ghosted’s “Get Some,” Craig David’s “Change My Love,” Dua Lipa’s “Bad Together,” Maroon 5’s “Denim Jacket,” Zac Samuels’ “Play it Cool,” Paloma Faith’s “I’ll Be Gentle,” and Niall Horan’s “On My Own.”

Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous promotional singles “U Don’t Know,” “Flames” and “Back for More” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Roc Nation Records.

Justine Skye has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The American singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Back for More” – featuring Jeremih – to her Vevo channel on Friday (August 04, 2017).

Produced by Christian “Hitmaka” Ward and Floyd Bentley, “Back for More” – which samples Nelly’s “Flap Your Wings” – was co-written by Jason Derulo alongside Lyrica Anderson (Beyonce), Austin Owens (Bryson Tiller), Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee (Sevyn Streeter) and Arin Ray (Chris Brown).

Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring the Chris Loco & Moon Willis-produced “U Don’t Know” and The-Dream-assisted “Flames” – is expected to arrive later this year via Roc Nation Records.

Justine Skye reunites with The-Dream for new single “Flames”

Justine Skye has unleashed her new single online.

“Flames” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written and produced by Terius “The-Dream” Nash, who previously teamed up with Skye on “Agenda,” “Fun,” “Strangers,” “Too Young to Die,” “Jezebel,” “Tonight,” “Love Song,” “Girlfriend” and “Still,” taken from the artist’s 2016 EP, “8 Ounces.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Skye is currently working on her upcoming debut album under Universal Music Group / Roc Nation Records.

In addition to Chris Loco and Moon Willis, who are responsible for previous single “You Don’t Know,” the still-untitled project reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Paul “Phamous” Shelton (Nick Jonas, Daniella Mason) and The Family (Jojo, Fifth Harmony).

Justine Skye has released her new mini-collection online.

“8 Ounces” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Emotionally Unavailable” features nine new songs in the shape of “Love Song,” “Still,” “Girlfriend,” “Tonight,” “Jezebel,” “Too Young to Die,” “Strangers,” “Fun” and “Agenda.”

Production duties on “8 Ounces” were handled by Christopher “Tricky” Stewart and Terius “The-Dream” Nash, who recently helmed songs for Tinashe (“Superlove”), Usher (“Bump”) and Phantogram (“Run Run Blood”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Skye’s upcoming debut album – featuring the Chris Loco & Moon Willis-produced lead single “U Don’t Know” – will arrive in 2017 via Universal Music Group / Roc Nation Records.

Justine Skye has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “U Don’t Know” – featuring Wizkid – to her Vevo channel on Monday (November 22, 2016).

“U Don’t Know” was co-written by Jaramye Daniels (Jidenna, Teyana Taylor) and Kevin Garrett (Beyonce, James Blake), with production from Chris Loco (Emeli Sande, Camille Purcell) and Moon Willis (Taya, Zac Samuel).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Skye is currently recording her upcoming debut project under Roc Nation Records and will release it in 2017.
