Cashmere Cat has revealed the release date for his upcoming debut album.
The Norwegian DJ and record producer – born Magnus Hoiberg – will release “9” on April 28 via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.
Current promotional single “9 (After Coachella)” – featuring Danish singer/songwriter MØ – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.
Other artists backing Cashmere Cat on “9” are Jhene Aiko (“Please Don’t Go”), Camila Cabello (“Love Invincible”), Selena Gomez (“Trust Nobody”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Infinite Stripes”), Ariana Grande (“Quit”), The Weeknd (“Wild Love”), Kacy Hill (“Europa Pools”) and Kehlani (“Night Night”).
The highly-anticipated project also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Benny Blanco (Halsey), Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears), SOPHIE (Charli XCX), Frank Dukes (Lorde), Starrah (Nicki Minaj), Evian Christ (Tinashe) and Rock City (Keri Hilson).

Kacy Hill has confirmed the title for her new single.
The British singer-songwriter christened “Hard to Love” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming debut album under Kanye West’s label GOOD (Getting Out of Your Dreams) Music and Def Jam Recordings.
“Hard to Love” follows previous single “Lions,” which was collectively produced by Jamie Hartman of Ben’s Brother and Stuart Price.
Other producers expected to appear on the album are Alex Hope (Troye Sivan), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David), Two Inch Punch (Noah Cyrus), BURNS (Charli XCX), Jon Levine (Bebe Rexha), Matt “Aqualung” Hales (Lianne La Havas), Steve Booker (Pixie Lott), Kid Harpoon (Eliza Doolittle), Luke Laird (Kacey Musgraves), Joel Little (Ellie Goulding) and Daniel Heath (Lana Del Rey).
On the songwriting front, Hill has reportedly collaborated with Natalie Hemby (Carly Rae Jepsen), Autumn Rowe (Dua Lipa), Tobias Jesso Jr. (Adele), Andrew Wyatt (Lion Babe), Chelsea Lena (Sabrina Carpenter), Diana Gordon (Rita Ora) and Jonny “Ghost” Harris (Ed Sheeran).
Hill’s mini-collection “Bloo” – featuring “Foreign Fields,” “Arm’s Length” and “Shades of Blue” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Lion” as the first promotional cut from her upcoming debut album and will release it on July 8 via iTunes.
Production duties on “Lion” were handled by Jamie Hartman (Conrad Sewell, Marlon Roudette) and Stuart Price (Madonna, Kylie Minogue).
As mentioned in earlier posts, Hill’s first studio collection is expected to arrive later this year through Getting Out of Your Dreams / Def Jam Recordings.
The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with BURNS (Britney Spears, Louisa Johnson), Two Inch Punch (Jessie Ware, Dua Lipa) and Alex Hope (Wrabel, Troye Sivan).

“Tune makin burger eatin peeps @troyesivan @alexhopemusic,” the British model-singer-songwriter tweeted on Friday (January 22, 2016).
Hope previously co-wrote and / or produced “DKLA,” “Fools,” “Heaven,” “Cool” and “WILD” for Sivan’s debut album “Blue Neighbourhood,” which is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Capitol Records.
Her songwriting and production resume includes further works with Taylor Henderson (“Borrow My Heart”), Tina Arena (“Only Lonely”), Jessica Mauboy (“Palace”), Jai Waetford (“Your Eyes”), and Guy Sebastian (“The Pause”).

Tourist has debuted a new song online.
“Wait” is slotted for inclusion on the Grammy-winning record producer and songwriter’s upcoming debut album, tentatively entitled “U.”
The track also follows previous singles, “Holding On” and “Illuminate,” now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
As mentioned in earlier posts, Tourist’s first studio collection will be released through Tourist Recordings and Polydor Records.
The highly-anticipated project features guest appearances from Years & Years and Josef Salvat, as well as songwriting contributions from Kid Harpoon.
On the songwriting and production front, Tourist – real name William Phillips –recently helmed Lapsley’s “Hurt Me” [XL Recordings] and Kacy Hill’s “Arm’s Length” [Getting Out of Your Dreams / PMR Records].
