Karen Harding signs new record deal with Ultra Music

Karen Harding has signed a new record deal with Ultra Music.

“I’ve just signed a global recording deal with @ultramusicofficial!! What a wonderful day it is! Some new music coming out SO soon. Thank you to everyone who’s listening/listened to my music over the last few years and supported it with such love! This is the next part of my journey and I’m really glad you’re here to share it with me,” she posted to Instagram.

Harding released her debut single, “Say Nothing,” in 2015 via Capitol Records. The MNEK-produced track peaked to number seven on the UK Singles Chart.

The British singer/songwriter has also co-written and/or provided guest vocals for Paris & Simo (“Come As You Are”), Felix Jaehn (“Figure You Out”), Giorgio Moroder (“Good for Me”), Tough Love (“Like I Can”), Arches (“New Love”), Le Youth (“Stay”), Wilkinson (“Sweet Lies”) and The Magician (“Together”).

Harding’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Alex Newell (“Shame”), Craig David (“Unbreakable”), Anton Powers (“Alone No More”), Claire Richards (“Shame on You”), Purple Disco Machine (“Love For Days”), Jerome Price (“Nobody”) and This Diamond Life (“The Weekend”).

Antigoni Buxton teams with Karen Poole for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Antigoni Buxton has enlisted the songwriting services of Karen Poole for her upcoming debut project under Island Records UK.

Poole’s extensive resume boasts works with Moko’s “Your Love,” Tough Love’s “Touch,” Jamelia’s “Taxi,” Watermat’s “All My Love,” Lily Allen’s “Cheryl Tweedy,” Kylie Minogue’s “Chocolate,” Taya’s “Sweet Waste of Time,” Janet Jackson’s “Put Your Hands On,” and Galantis’ “Rich Boy.”

Fans of her work should also keep an eye on the next projects by Becky Hill [Eko Records], Dakota [70Hz Recordings / Virgin EMI], Lao Ra [Black Butter Records], Kylie Minogue [BMG], David Guetta [Parlophone / Atlantic Records], Mollie King [Island Records UK] and OMI [Ultra / Columbia Records].

Antigoni Buxton has drafted Karen Harding for a new collaboration.

The British singer/songwriter is known for her singles “Open My Eyes,” which was co-written by Sophie “Frances” Cooke,” and “Say Something,” which was produced by Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike.

Harding’s songwriting resume, on the other hand, boasts works with Alex Newell (“Shame”), Craig David (“Unbreakable”) and The Magician (“Together”).

She has also provided guest vocals for Giorgio Moroder (“Good for Me”), Wilkinson (“Sweet Lies”), Anton Powers (“Love You Better”), Jerome Price (“Nobody”), Arches (“New Love”), This Diamond Life (“The Weekend”), Blonde (“Feel Good”) and Tough Love (“Like I Can”).

Meanwhile, Buxton’s first project is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

The still-untitled collection reportedly delivers songwriting contributions from Diane Warren (Leona Lewis), Fiona Bevan (Charlotte OC), Negin Djafari (Louisa Johnson), Chelcee Grimes (Calvin Harris), Anita Blay (Little Mix), Chiara Hunter (David Guetta) and Jack McManus (Una Healy).

Wilkinson unleashes sophomore album “Hypnotic”

British drum and bass music producer and DJ Mark Wilkinson, professionally known as Wilkinson, has released his sophomore album online.

“Hypnotic” is now available via available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Lazers Not Included” boasts guest appearances from Karen Harding (“Sweet Lies”), Shannon Saunders (“Breathe”), Andreya Triana (“Take Us Home”), Matt Wills (“We Will Be”), Raphaella (“Only the Innocent”), Wretch 32 (“Flatline”) and Livvi Franc (“In the Dark”).

Among the songwriters backing Wilkinson on the album are Negin Djafari (Liza Owen), Jessica “SLO” Mills (Gorgon City), Dee Adam (Ria Ritchie), Jem Cooke (Rebecca Ferguson), Bradford Ellis (Fleur East), Ali Tennant (Craig David), Talay Riley (Keri Hilson) and Josh Record (Ella Henderson).

Karen Harding has teamed up with fellow singer/songwriter Jem Cooke for a new collaboration.

“Last weekend with the incredible Jem Cooke. So amazing to get to work alongside some lushhh female vocalists,” the British singer-songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Sunday (February 26, 2017).

Cooke previously wrote songs for Martin Garrix (“Sun is Never Going Down”), Rebecca Ferguson (“Without a Woman”), Nicole Bernegger (“Just Breathe”), James Arthur (“Take My Word for It”), Louis Baker (“Fade”) and Javeon McCarthy (“Lock and Load”).

Cooke’s resume boasts further works with producers and fellow songwriters Naughty Boy, Craze & Hoax, Bradford Ellis, Mojam, Justin Broad, Paul Herman, Levi Lennox, Amish “ADP” Patel, Jennifer Decilveo, Matthew Holmes, Philip Leigh, Troy Miller, and Isabella “Isa Machine” Summers.

Meanwhile, Harding is expected to release her new official single – which follows 2016’s “Open My Eyes” – and first studio collection later this year.

Harding’s guest vocals can be heard on the latest releases by DJ Imanos (“Gunshy”), Giorgio Moroder (“Good for Me”), Wilkinson (“Sweet Lies”), Tough Love (“Like I Can”), Blonde (“Feel Good”) and Arches (“New Love”).

Wilkinson has shared a new performance video online.

The British drum and bass music producer posted an acoustic performance of “Sweet Lies” to his Vevo channel on Wednesday (October 19, 2016).

“Sweet Lies” is now available for download via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Wilkinson and the song’s featured vocalist Karen Harding alongside Jess “SLO” Mills (Etherwood, Emelie Ester) and Bradford Ellis (Anne-Marie, Rebecca Ferguson).

“Sweet Lies” also marks the first promotional cut from Wilkinson’s upcoming studio collection under Ram Records and Virgin EMI Records.

Karen Harding has shared the lyric video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the lyrical clip for “When You Gonna Realise” to her Vevo channel on Friday (May 20, 2016).

“When You Gonna Realise” was co-written by Jonny Lattimer, who also contributed to the next projects by Rebecca Ferguson [Syco], Izzy Bizu [Epic], Raye [Polydor], Sinead Harnett [Virgin] and Melissa Steel [Atlantic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Harding is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring previous singles “Say Something” and “Open My Eyes” – later this year through Method Records and Capitol Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further contributions from Jimmy Napes, Laura Dockrill, Tom Aspaul, Emanuel Kiriakou, Richard Stannard, Ash Howes, Rodney Jerkins, Evan Bogart, Josh Record, and Future Cut.
