Kelly Clarkson confirms new promotional single “I Don’t Think About You”

Kelly Clarkson has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “I Don’t Think About You” as the second promotional cut from her eighth studio collection “Meaning of Life,” out now via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The track was co-written by Michael Pollack alongside Harloe, whose resume boasts additional works with Britney Spears (“Love Me Down”), Charli XCX (“Secret”), Olivia Holt (“Thin Air”) and Madison Beer (“Unbreakable”).

Production duties on “I Don’t Think About You” were handled by siblings Andre and Sean Davidson of The Monarch, who are also responsible for Rita Ora’s “How We Do (Party),” Cher Lloyd’s “Swagger Jagger,” Kevin McCall’s “Better,” Chris Brown’s “Biggest Fan,” and Jason Derulo’s “With the Lights On.”

“Meaning of Life,” which peaked to number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart, yields further productions from Jesse Shatkin, Mick Schultz, Jason Halbert, Greg Kurstin, Nick Ruth, Jussi Karvinen, and NOVAWAV.

On the songwriting front, Clarkson has also worked with Maureen “MoZella” McDonald, Priscilla Renea, James Morrison, Amy “AMES” Kunes, Molly Kate Kestner, Audra Mae, Ilsey Juber, and Katie Pearlman.

K. Michelle releases new album “Kimberley: The People I Used to Know”

American singer/songwriter Kimberley Pate, professionally known as K. Michelle, has released her new studio collection online.

“Kimberley:The People I Used to Know” – featuring singles “Birthday,” “Fuck Your Man” and the Chris Brown-assisted “Either Way” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2016’s “More Issues Than Vogue” boasts songwriting contributions from fellow recording artists including Kelly Clarkson (“Run Don’t Walk”), Sonyae Elise (“Birthday”), Prince Charlez (“Talk to God”), Safaree Samuels (“Alert”) and Priscilla Renea (“Brain on Love”).

Other album songwriters include Bianca “Blush” Atterberry (Pia Mia), Kevin Kadish (Meghan Trainor), Carmen Reece (Ray BLK), Micah Powell (Sevyn Streeter), Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee (Rita Ora), Claude Kelly (Britney Spears), Lindsay Gilbert (Tamar Braxton) and Sam Sumser (Jason Derulo).

On the production front, K. “Meaning of Life” – featuring promotional singles “Love So Soft” and the Molly Kate Kestner-penned “Move You” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “Piece By Piece” boasts productions from Jesse Shatkin (Rihanna), Nick Ruth (Carly Rae Jepsen), Mick Schultz (Lights), Greg Kurstin (John Legend), Nova Wav (Kehlani) and The Monarch (Chris Brown).

The track was co-written by UK recording artist James Morrison alongside Ilsey Juber, whose recent credits include DJ Snake’s “A Different Way,” Demi Lovato’s “Only Forever,” Hey Violet’s “When Will I Learn,” Noah Cyrus’ “Almost Famous,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” and Tinashe’s “Flame.”

Production duties on “Meaning of Life” were handled by regular collaborator Jesse Shatkin, who is also responsible for Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away,” Ella Eyre’s “Ego,” Rihanna’s “Sledgehammer,” Bea Miller’s “Repercussions,” Camila Cabello’s “I Have Questions,” and Foxes’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now.”

Kelly Clarkson has reunited with MoZella for her upcoming eighth album.

The American singer and recording artist – real name Maureen McDonald – previously co-wrote “Take You High” for Clarkson alongside the song’s producer and regular collaborator Jesse Shatkin.

MoZella’s songwriting resume boasts further works with Madonna (“Living for Love”), Tinashe (“Feels Like Vegas”), Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), James Blunt (“California”), Lea Michele (“Anything’s Possible”), Mary Lambert (“Secrets”), Ellie Goulding (“Don’t Panic”), Rihanna (“Dancing in the Dark”), Charlie Puth (“One Call Away”), Rachel Platten (“Speechless”) and One Direction (“Perfect”).

Meanwhile, Clarkson’s next studio collection will arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.
