Jasmine Villegas has announced the title of her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “That’s Me Right There” – featuring Kendrick Lamar – as the first promotional single from her upcoming mini-album, out soon via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Fans can expect its accompanying video soon. It was shot by video director, Gil Green, who’s also responsible for Trey Songz’s “Foreign” [Atlantic Records] and Jason Derulo’s “Stupid Love” [Warner Bros. Records].

The still-untitled project by Villegas is said to feature contributions from Ester Dean, Soundz, Eric Bellinger, Harmony Samuels, Carmen Reece, Brian Kennedy, Sam Hook, Kevin McCall, Adonis, and Kendrick Dean.

Tamar Braxton has announced the title of her new single.

The R&B singer/songwriter christened “Pieces” as the next promotional single from her sophomore album, “Love and War,” out now via Epic Records.

The track was co-written by Sevyn Streeter, whose previous credits include Ariana Grande’s “The Way” [Republic Records], Chris Brown’s “Fine China” [RCA Records] and Brandy’s “Slower” [Epic Records].

Production duties were handled by Bryan Michael Cox and Kendrick Dean, who are also responsible for Mariah Carey’s “I Stay in Love” [Island Def Jam Recordings] and “Was It Worth It?” by Keyshia Cole [Geffen Records].

Among the other musicians backing Tamar on “Love and War” – which features hit singles “The One” and “All the Way Home” – are LaShawn Daniels, Da Internz, Makeba Riddick, Tricky Stewart, Babyface, and The Underdogs.

Music producer Soundz hints at new collaboration with Jasmine Villegas, Jeremih

R&B and Hip-Hop record producer Soundz has hinted at a new collaboration between Jasmine Villegas and Jeremih.

The hitmaker – born Kenneth Coby – previously collaborated with artists including Usher [RCA Records], Beyonce [Columbia Records], Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings] and Trey Songz [Atlantic Records].

Some of his notable credits include “Out of Town Girl” by Justin Bieber [Island Records], “DUI” by Ciara [Epic Records], “Lazy” by LeToya [Capitol Records] and “Gone (La Dada Di)” by Melanie Fiona [Republic Records].

Villegas is expected to be release her highly-anticipated debut album later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Singer/songwriter Jasmine Villegas has added Eric Bellinger and Brian Kennedy to the list of contributors for her upcoming debut album.

Bellinger is known for co-writing hit singles “Lemme See” (performed by Usher), “Fine China” (performed by Chris Brown), “Kiss It” (performed by Dev) and “Think Like a Man” (performed by Jennifer Hudson f/ Ne-Yo & Rick Ross).

Meanwhile, Kennedy is responsible for producing Jay Sean’s “Guns ‘n Roses” [Republic Records], Jessica Mauboy’s “Honest” [Sony Music Australia] and Rihanna‘s “Get It Over With” [Island Def Jam Recordings].

The highly-anticipated LP by the “Paint a Smile” star is expected to be released later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Among the other musicians confirmed for the still-untitled project are Ester Dean, Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, Sam Hook, Kendrick Dean, Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire, Kevin McCall, Leah Haywood, and Daniel Pringle.

Tamar Braxton has unveiled the official songwriting credits for her new album.

The singer/songwriter will release “Love and War” in the United States on September 3 via Sony Music Entertainment / Streamline / Epic Records.

New single “Hot Sugar” was written by Tamar Braxton along with Makeba Riddick (Cassie, Jennifer Lopez), LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels (Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson) and Kyle “K2” Stewart (Fantasia Barrino, Trey Songz).
