Dua Lipa has teamed up with Julia Michaels for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter is known for co-penning Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” Selena Gomez’s “Good for You,” Rita Ora’s “Poison,” Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel,” Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself,” Gwen Stefani’s “Used to Love You,” Nick Jonas’ “Touch,” and Britney Spears’ “Slumber Party.”

Michaels’ most recent project “Inner Monologue Part 2” – featuring nine new songs in the shape of “17,” “Falling for Boys,” “Hurt Again,” “Work Too Much,” “Body,” “Priest,” “Fucked Up Kinda” and “Shouldn’t Have Said It” – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album early next year via Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project and follow-up to 2017’s “Dua Lipa” reportedly yields additional songwriting contributions from Caroline Ailin, Sarah Hudson, Tove Lo, Kennedi, Casey Smith, Jenna Andrews, Tayla Parx, Kamille, Sarah Aarons, Ilsey Juber, Emily Warren, Jozzy, Sasha Sloan, and Lindy Robbins.

Dua Lipa drafts Jozzy, Metro Boomin for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has drafted Jocelyn “Jozzy” Donald and Leland “Metro Boomin” Wayne for a new collaboration.

Jozzy is known for co-writing Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road,” Monica’s “Just Right for Me,” Little Mix’s “Bounce Back,” usher’s “Birthday,” Dinah Jane’s “Pass Me By,” Fergie’s “M.I.L.F,” Chris Brown’s “Discover,” and Tinashe’s “Ooh La La.”

Meanwhile, Metro Boomin’s production resume boasts works with Nicki Minaj (“Chun Swae”), 21 Savage (“No Heart”), Solange (“Stay Flo”), Gucci Mane (“Droptopwop”), A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (“Get to You”) and Lana Del Rey (“God Bless America – And All The Beautiful Women In It”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album early next year via Warner Bros. Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features additional productions from Max Martin, Ilya, Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, MNEK, Jason Evigan, Supa Dups, Danja, Fred Ball, Joel Little, Grades, and Stephen Kozmeniuk.

On the songwriting front, Dua Lipa has worked with Sarah Hudson, Tove Lo, Kennedi, Casey Smith, Jenna Andrews, Tayla Parx, Kamille, Sarah Aarons, Ilsey Juber, Emily Warren, Caroline Ailin, Sasha Sloan, and Lindy Robbins.

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has enlisted the songwriting and production services for Theron Thomas and Nathaniel “Danja” Hills.

Thomas’ recent songwriting credits include Pia Mia’s “Crybaby,” Chris Brown’s “Wobble Up,” Lizzo’s “Juice,” Kim Petras’ “Personal Hell,” Big Boi’s “Doin It,” Shenseea’s “Blessed,” Ciara’s “Freak Me,” and Becky G’s “Green Light Go.”

Meanwhile, Danja’s production resume boasts works with Britney Spears (“Gimme More”), Justin Timberlake (“Say Something”), Madonna (“4 Minutes”), Nelly Furtado (“Promiscuous”), Pink (“Sober”), Katharine McPhee (“Love Story”), Mariah Carey (“Migrate”) and Cassie (“Official Girl”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Dua Lipa’s upcoming sophomore album is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Music Group / Warner Bros. Records.

Jojo hits the studio with Stacy Barthe for new collaboration

American singer/songwriter Joanna Levesque, known mononymously as Jojo, has teamed up with Stacy Barthe for a new collaboration.

Barthe’s songwriting resume boasts works with Rihanna (“Cheers”), Alicia Keys (“Limitedless”), Teyana Taylor (“Outta My League”), Marsha Ambrosius (“So Good”), Bridget Kelly (“Carry My Cross”), Melanie Fiona (“Like I Love You”), Lauriana Mae (“Marvelous”) and Ciara (“Flaws and All”).

Her debut album “Becoming” – featuring productions from Malay, Benny Cassette, and Darhyl “DJ” Camper – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

In addition to contributing to Louise’s upcoming album, “Heavy Love,” Jojo is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year via her own imprint Clover Music in partnership with Interscope Records.

The American songwriter, fashion stylist, and designer is known for co-writing Alicia Keys’ “In Common,” The Weeknd’s “Die for You,” Camila Cabello’s “Real Friends,” Post Malone’s “I Fall Apart,” Emeli Sande’s “Starlight,” Khalid’s “Stay,” Tinashe’s “Party Favors,” and Majid Jordan’s “Something About You.”

Meanwhile, Dua Lipa’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring further songwriting contributions from Lindy Robbins, Tayla Parx, Kamille, Sasha Sloan, Emily Warren, Caroline Ailin, Kennedi, Ilsey Juber, Sarah Hudson, and Tove Lo – is expected to arrive later this year via Warner Bros. Records.

Rita Ora has enlisted Kennedi and Boy Matthews for a new collaboration.

Besides providing guest vocals on High Contrasts’s “Questions,” Wilkinson’s “Wash Away (Calling for You”), Dan Barber’s “Time for Living” and Hayden James’ “Just Friends,” Boy Matthews (real name James Norton) is also repsonsible for co-writing Zayn Malik’s “Rainberry,” Little Mix’s “Motivate,” Clare Maguire’s “The Valley,” and Duke Dumont’s “Ocean.”

Meanwhile, Kennedi’s songwriting resume boasts works with Ariana Grande (“Fake Smile”), Dua Lipa (“Swan Song”), Isabella Moner (“I’ll Stay”), Hailee Steinfeld (“Back to Life”), Lennon Stella (“Bad”), Jess Kent (“Bass Bumps”), NOTD (“Been There, Done That”) and BLVK JVCK (“Mine Luv”).

Ora’s latest studio collection “Phoenix” – featuring singles “Your Song,” “Anywhere,” “Girls” and “Let You Love Me” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Her song “Soul Survivor” – which was co-written by Simon Wilcox and Georgia Ku alongside Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Norwegian production duo Stargate – was featured in the first-ever Super Bowl ad for Bumble, the women-centric dating app.

Ariana Grande has delivered her fifth studio collection online.

“Thank U, Next” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Current promotional single “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored” – which samples the Kandi Burruss and Kevin “She’kspere” Briggs-crafted “It Makes Me Ill” (as performed by N’Sync) – was co-written by regular collaborators Savan Kotecha, Martin “Max Martin” Sandberg, and Ilya Salmanzadeh.

Other musicians backing Grande on “Thank U, Next” are Tommy Brown, Victoria Monet, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, Tayla Parx, Charles Anderson, Priscilla Renea, Justin Tranter, Kennedi Lykken, Happy Perez, Njomza, Brian Malik Baptiste, Kaydence, Jameel Roberts, and Nova Wav.
