Nico & Vinz share “Our Love” lyric video

Nico & Vinz have shared the lyric video for their new single online.

The Norwegian duo posted the lyrical clip for “Our Love” to their YouTube channel on Wednesday (February 03, 2016).

“Our Love” was co-written by Ross Golan, whose recent credits include Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love” [Interscope], The Vamps’ “Wake Up” [Virgin EMI], and One Direction’s “If I Could Fly” [Columbia].

Production duties were handled by Ian Kirkpatrick, who is also responsible for Fleur East’s “More and More” [Syco], Olly Murs’ “Stevie Knows” [Epic], Chris Brown’s “Fine By Me” [RCA], and Justin Bieber’s “The Feeling” [Def Jam].

Nico & Vinz’s mini-collection “Cornerstone” – featuring previous single “That’s How You Know” – is now available for download via iTunes.

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant” will hit stores later this year through Warner Bros Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts contributions from Salaam Remi, Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, Toby Gad, Meleni Smith, RedOne, Pharrell Williams, Charlie Puth, Stacy Barthe, Naughty Boy, and Soulshock & Karlin.

Nico & Vinz draft Meleni Smith, Salaam Remi for new album

Nico & Vinz have added Polly A. and Salaam Remi for their upcoming album.

“Day 2 of music and vibes with @salaamremi and @akapollya,” the Norwegian duo posted to their Instagram account on Saturday (January 23, 2016).

Polly A. – real name Meleni Smith – is known for co-writing Jordin Sparks’ “Left… Right” [Louder Than Life], Selena Gomez’s “Bang Bang Bang” [Hollywood], Alicia Keys’ “Love is My Disease” [RCA], and Kat Dahlia’s “Clocks” [Epic].

Meanwhile, Remi’s extensive production resume includes works with Mack Wilds (“Love in the 90z”), Miguel (“Face the Sun”), Jazmine Sullivan (“Dumb”), Ella Henderson (“Hard Work”), and Leona Lewis (“Forgiveness”).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Nico & Vinz are expected to release the follow-up to 2014’s “Black Star Elephant” later this year through Warner Bros Records.

Current single “That’s How You Know” – featuring Kid Ink and Bebe Rexha – was co-written by Julia Michaels (Gwen Stefani, Pia Mia) and produced by Warren “Oak” Felder (Kehlani, Alessia Cara).

Other musicians backing Nico & Vinz on the new LP are Soulshock & Karlin (Usher), Pharrell (Ciara), Kerry Brothers, Jr. (Goapele), Toby Gad (Cassie), RedOne (Brandy), Charlie Puth (Fergie), and Naughty Boy (Beyonce).

Kyan has recorded new music with Kerry “Krucial” Brothers.

“Had a great week jamming with the legend that is Krucial Keys, the man responsible for production on Alicia Keys’ first four albums” the British singer, songwriter, and record producer posted to his Instagram account.

Keys recently co-wrote “Rio” for Mika along with Nina Woodford and Jarad Kritzstein. The Greg Wells-produced track appears on Mika’s latest album, “No Place in Heaven,” out now via Casablanca Records.

Other notable credits by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers are Alicia Keys’ “No One” [RCA], Keyshia Cole’s “I Just Want It to Be Over” [Geffen], Goapele’s “Tears on My Pillow” [Skyblaze] and Maxine Ashley’s “Between You and I” [Polydor].

Meanwhile, Kyan is scheduled to release his debut album next year through Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

His current mini-collection “Remote View” – featuring lead single “Sometimes” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

The EP also boasts contributions from Knox Brown (Usher, K. Michelle), Jonny Coffer (Emeli Sande, Jess Glynne) and Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Lion Babe).

Mika has released his new album online.

The British singer/songwriter’s fourth studio collection “No Place in Heaven” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Casablanca Records.

Lead single “Talk About You” was co-written by Ross Golan (Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor) and Johan Karlsson (Colbie Caillat, Ariana Grande). Production duties were handled by Mika along with Greg Wells (Adele, Ella Eyre).

Other album contributors include Kerry “Krucial” Brothers (Goapele, Alicia Keys), Nina Woodford (Leona Lewis, Christina Milian), Wayne Hector (Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears), Matt “Aqualung” Hales (Lianne La Havas, Rebecca Ferguson) and Clarence Coffee Jr. (Carly Rae Jepsen, Kylie Minogue).

Mika’s last studio collection, 2012’s “The Origin of Love,” peaked to number 24 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including the Pharrell Williams-featuring “Celebrate” and the Ariana Grande-assisted “Popular Song.”

Alicia Keys debuts new song “Somewhere in the City”

Alicia Keys has debuted a new song online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Somewhere in the City” to her website (AKVault.com) as part of her “12 Days of Christmas” giveaways.

“Somewhere in the City” was co-written and co-produced by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, who also teamed with the artist on singles “No One,” “A Woman’s Worth,” “Diary” and “Like You’ll Never See Me Again.”

As previously reported, Keys is currently putting the final touches on her sixth studio album. The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Girl on Fire,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Among the producers and songwriters who contributed to the highly-anticipated album are Swizz Beatz (Beyonce, Chris Brown), Emeli Sande (Rihanna, Katy Perry) and Pharrell Williams (Usher, Kylie Minogue).

Billon, Maxine Ashley release MNEK-assisted single “Special”

Billon have released their new single online.

“Special” – which features vocals from singer/songwriter Maxine Ashley – is now available for download via iTunes (UK).

The track was written by group members Ed Butler and Robbie Lamond along with MNEK, whose recent credits also include Becky Hill’s “Losing” [Parlophone Records] and Karen Harding’s “Say Something” [Capitol Records].

Billon’s upcoming project is expected to hit stores during the first quarter of 2015 via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Meanwhile, Ashley is currently working on her first studio collection under Pharrell Williams label i am OTHER. The still-untitled project is executive produced by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers.

Maxine Ashley has debuted the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “Between You and I” to her official YouTube page on Tuesday (October 14, 2014).

“Between You and I” was co-written and produced Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, whose resume includes works for Alicia Keys (“No One”), Keyshia Cole (“I Just Want It To Be Over”) and Christina Aguilera (“Impossible”).

Ashley’s debut mini-album “Moodswings” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Pharrell Williams’ i am OTHER Entertainment and Outsiders Recorded Music Limited / Polydor Records.

She also provided guest vocals on the track “Special” by UK production duo Billon (Ed Butler and Robbie Lamond). The MNEK-assisted single will be available for download from November 10 via iTunes (UK).

Maxine Ashley unveils ‘Perpetual Nights’ music video

Maxine Ashley has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted “Perpetual Nights” to her official YouTube page on Tuesday (February 17, 2014).

The track – which appears on the artist’s mini-album “Mood Swings” – was helmed by super producer Pharrell Williams, who previously teamed up with the artist on hit single “Cookie Man.”

Fans of Pharrell’s production work should also look out for the next albums by Usher [RCA Records], Kylie Minogue [Parlophone Records], Jessie J [Republic Records], Tori Kelly [Capitol Records] and Ed Sheeran [Atlantic Records].

Ashley is currently working on her upcoming debut album, which will feature productions and songwriting contributions from Kerry “Krucial” Brothers.

The hitmaker is known for collaborating with Alicia Keys (“No One”), Mateo (“How Good Is Your Love”), Mario Barrett (“Put Me On”), Christina Aguilera (“Impossible”) and Keyshia Cole (“I Just Want It To Be Over”).

“Glory Box” marks the first promotional release from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming mini-album “Mood Swings,” out soon via Krucial Noise Records.

The track was produced by Kerry “Krucial” Brothers, whose credits include “No One” by Alicia Keys [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and “I Just Want It to Be Over” by Keyshia Cole [Universal Music Group / Geffen Records].

He also serves as the executive producer of the forthcoming as-yet-untitled debut album by Mateo, out soon via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.
