Alma releases new mixtape “Heavy Rules”

Finnish singer and songwriter Alma-Sofia Miettinen, professionally known as Alma, has released her new mixtape online.

“Heavy Rules” – featuring six new songs in the shape of “Legend,” “Dance for Me,” “Good Vibes, ” “Fake Gucci,” “BACK2U” and “Chit Chat” – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The new project boasts guest appearances from Tove Styrke, Kiiara and MØ, as well as productions and songwriting contributions from Marco “MAG” Borrero, Priscilla Renea, Louis Schoorl, Noonie Bao, Hank Solo, Charli XCX, Johan Fransson, Andrei Kipahti, Sarah Hjellstrom, Jason Gill, and Axident.

Kiiara hits the studio with Jim Jonsin for debut album

Kiiara has enlisted Jim Jonsin for her upcoming debut album.

“There’s def a special place in heaven for legends who believe in new artists. thank u for helping me through my emotions @IamJimJonsin,” the singer-songwriter tweeted on Thursday (December 01, 2016).

Jonsin’s recent production credits include “Excuse Me” (A$AP Rocky), “Gone” (Machine Gun Kelly), “Promises” (Wiz Khalifa), “Go Hard” (Kevin Gates), “Pay Attention” (Big K.R.I.T.) and “Murda Something” (A$AP Rock).

His extensive resume boasts further works with Beyonce (“Sweet Dreams”), Kelly Rowland (“Motivation”), Michelle Williams (“The Greatest”), Brandy (“No Such Thing as Too Late”), Shakira (“Rabiosa”) and Usher (“Lemme See”).

Meanwhile, Kiiara is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring current promotional single “Dopemang” – in 2017 via Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Jason Evigan (David Guetta, Ella Eyre), Christopher “CJ” Baran (Melanie Martinez, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Bonnie McKee (Olly Murs, Kylie Minogue).

Kiiara reunites with Felix Snow for new single “Dopemang”

Kiiara has released her new single online.

“Dopemang” – featuring Ashley All Day – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Production duties on “Dopemang” were handled by Felix Snow, who previously teamed with Kiiara on tracks including “Gold,” “Feels” and “Say Anymore.”

Snow’s other credits include Nicole Scherzinger (“Run”), Selena Gomez (“Perfect”), Melanie Martinez (“Teddy Bear”) and Foxes (“Devil Side”).

Meanwhile, Kiiara – real name Kiara Saulters – is expected to release her first studio collection in 2017 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly features additional alliances with Jason Evigan (Britney Spears, Phoebe Ryan), Christopher “CJ” Baran (Pixie Lott, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Bonnie McKee (Olly Murs, Kylie Minogue).

Kiiara has recorded new music with Jason Evigan.

“@Kiiara busy at work,” the record producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist posted to his Instagram account on Wednesday (June 08, 2016).

Evigan is responsible for co-writing / producing Kelly Clarkson’s “Heartbeat Song” [RCA], Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack” [Hollywood], Madonna’s “Ghosttown” [Interscope] and Jason Derulo’s “Cheyenne” [Warner Brothers].

He also contributed to the next projects by Nick Jonas [Safehouse], Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Britney Spears [RCA], Bebe Rexha [Warner Brothers], Enrique Iglesias [Republic] and David Guetta [Parlophone].

Meanwhile, Kiiara is expected to release her full-length debut album later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

For the still-untitled project, Kiiara reportedly teamed up with Bonnie McKee (Olly Murs, Kylie Minogue), Christopher “CJ” Baran (Melanie Martinez, Bea Miller) and Felix Snow (Nicole Scherzinger, Selena Gomez).

Her first mini-collection “low kii savage” – featuring “Gold,” “Feels,” “Tennessee,” “Intention,” “Say Anymore” and “Hang Up tha Phone” – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.
