Cheryl Cole drafts Jim Eliot for new album “Only Human”

British singer/songwriter Cheryl Cole has enlisted hitmaker Jim Eliot for her upcoming fourth studio album, “Only Human.”

Eliot is responsible for co-writing and producing Kylie Minogue’s “All the Lovers” [Parlophone Records], Will Young’s “I Just Want a Lover” [RCA Records] and Olly Murs’ “Heart Skips a Beat” [Epic Records].

His resume also includes works for Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records], Christina Perri [Atlantic Records], Mikky Ekko [RCA Records], Little Boots [On Repeat Records] and Jetta [Polydor Records].

Meanwhile, Cole’s upcoming studio album “Only Human” – which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Messy Little Raindrops” – is scheduled for release in November via Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

Current single “Crazy Stupid Love” – written by Cheryl Cole along with Heidi Rojas, Katelyn Turner, Kevin Anyaeji and Wayne Wilkins – is now available for download via iTunes (UK).

Mikky Ekko confirms Jim Eliot for debut album

Singer/songwriter Mikky Ekko has confirmed British hitmaker Jim Eliot of Kish Mauve for his upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album, scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Eliot is responsible for co-writing and producing tracks such as “Crescendo” by Little Boots [On Repeat Records], “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records] and “Dear Darling” by Olly Murs [Epic Records].

He also teamed up with artists including Kylie Minogue [Warner Music Group / Parlophone Records], Girls Aloud [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records], Will Young [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records] and Ladyhawke [Universal Music Group / Modular Recordings].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Ekko – John Stephen Sudduth – is expected to boast further collaborations with Elof Loelv (Rihanna, Icona Pop), Greg Kurstin (Mike Posner, Lily Rose Cooper), Sia Furler (Labrinth, Beyonce Knowles), Warren “Oak” Felder (Chris Brown, Bridget Kelly), Steve “Ace” Mostyn (Alicia Keys, Elle Varner) and John Hill (Natasha Bedingfield, Christina Aguilera).

Current single “Pull Me Down” was produced by Mike “Clams Casino” Volpe, whose credits include The Weeknd [Universal Music Group / Republic Records] and ASAP Rocky [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

Olly Murs has released the music video for his new single online.

“Dear Darlin’” marks the third promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s latest album, “Right Place Right Time,” out now via Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Epic Records.

The track was co-written by Ed Drewett, whose credits include “Hearts Go Crazy” by Parachute [Universal Music Group / Mercury Records], “Kiss Chase” by Stooshe [Warner Music Group / Future Cut Recordings] and “Glad You Came” by The Wanted [Universal Music Group / Island Records].

Production duties were handled by Jim Eliot of Kish Mauve, who is also responsible for “Crescendo” by Little Boots [On Repeat Records], “Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me” by Girls Aloud [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records] and “All the Lovers” by Kylie Minogue [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records].

Australian singer/songwriter Kylie Minogue has reunited with Jim Eliot for her upcoming studio album, which serves as the follow-up to 2010’s “Aphrodite.”

The pair previously teamed up on singles “2 Hearts” and “All the Lovers,” as well as the Richard “Biff” Stannard-assisted “You Make Me Feel” by Kish Mauve.

Eliot is also known for collaborating with artists such as Ladyhawke [Universal Music Group / Modular Records], Olly Murs [Sony Music Group / Epic Records], Ellie Goulding [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records] and Will Young [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

As previously reported, the new collection by Minogue will boast further songwriting contributions from Cathy Dennis, Ariel Rechtshaid, Sia Furler, Kelly Sheehan, Bonnie McKee, Sean “Elijah Blake” Fenton, and Anjulie Persaud.

Producers include Pharrell Williams, Fernando Garibay, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Greg Kurstin, Fernando Garibay, Tor Erik Hermansen, and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, Saul “Chase” Milton and Will “Status” Kennard.

“Ten” has so far delivered hit single “Something New,” which recently debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart.

Girls Aloud have released the official lyric video for their new single online.

The British-Irish girl group – consisting of members Nadine Coyle, Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Sarah Harding – will release “Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me” as the second single from their upcoming greatest hits compilation, “Ten,” which is due in the United Kingdom on November 26 via Universal Music Group / Fascination Records / Polydor Records.

The track – available for download from December 17 – was written by Rachel “Maiday” Moulden and produced by Jim Eliot of Kish Mauve, whose credits include “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records], “All the Lovers” by Kylie Minogue [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records] and “Heart Skips a Beat” by Olly Murs [Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Epic Records].

As previously reported, “Ten” will boast fourteen of Girls Aloud biggest-selling hits such as “Sound of the Underground” and “The Promise.” It will also include four new songs, including lead single “Something New.”

The track – written by Wayne Hector along with Xenomania members Brian Higgins, Tim Deal, Matt Gray and Carla Marie Williams – has been reworked by Jim Eliot of Kish Mauve, whose credits include “2 Hearts” by Kylie Minogue [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records], “Anything Could Happen” by Ellie Goulding [Universal Music Group / Polydor Records] and “Heart Skips a Beat” by Olly Murs [Sony Music Entertainment / Syco Music / Epic Records].

“Something New” also marks the lead single from the British-Irish group’s upcoming Greatest Hits Compilation, “Ten,” which is due in the United Kingdom on November 26 via Universal Music Group / Fascination Records.
