Joy Crookes drafts Audra Mae, Alex Hope for new single “Power”

British singer/songwriter Joy Crookes has released her new single online.

“Power” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Crookes alongside Audra Mae (Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barrino) and Alex Hope (Troye Sivan, Years & Years).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Crookes’ upcoming mini-collection “Influence” – featuring the Brett “Leland” McLaughlin and Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk-assisted “Bad Feeling” – will arrive on July 21st.

Dua Lipa liberates self-titled debut album

British singer/songwriter Dua Lipa has liberated her debut album online.

The self-titled collection – featuring singles “New Love,” “Be the One,” “Last Dance,” “Hotter Than Hell,” “Blow Your Mind (Mwah),” “Lost in Your Light,” “Thinking About You,” and “Room for 2” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the songwriters backing Dua Lipa on the album are Lindy Robbins, Cara Salimando, Sarah Hudson, Skyler Stonestreet, Caroline Ailin, Autumn Rowe, Chelcee Grimes, Lauren Christy, Emily Warren, Ilsey Juber, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Rick Nowels, Sean Douglas, Talay Riley, Ferras Al-Qaisi, Adam Midgley, Tommy Baxter, Gerard O’Connell, and Clarence Coffee Jr.

On the production front, Dua Lipa has worked with Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, Andreas “Axident” Schuller, Leroy “Big Taste” Clampitt, Greg Wells, Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, Nicholas “Digital Farm Animals” Gale, Tom Neville, Andrew Wyatt, Emile Haynie, Daniel “GRADES” Traynor, Ian Kirkpatrick, Francis “Eg” White, James Flannigan, Bill Rahko, Jon Levine, and TMS.

As a songwriter, on the other hand, the “Scared to Be Lonely” star’s resume boasts works for Annalisa (“Used to You”), The Chainsmokers (“Wake Up Alone”) and Molly Kate Kestner (“Thank You Very Much”).

Dua Lipa delivers music video for new single “Thinkin ‘Bout You”

Dua Lipa has delivered the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the visual clip for “Thinkin ‘Bout You” to her YouTube channel on Wednesday (February 22, 2017).

The track was co-written by Adam Argyle, whose other credits include Jamie Lawson’s “The Last Time,” Melanie C’s “Anymore,” Ronan Keating’s “Time of My Life,” Izzy Bizu’s “Hello Crazy,” and James Bay’s “Clocks Go Forward.”

Production duties on “Thinkin ‘Bout You” – now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets – were handled by Stephen “KOZ” Kozmeniuk, who previously teamed up with Dua Lipa on “Last Dance.”

The “Hotter than Hell” star’s debut album, on the other hand, will arrive on June 2nd via Warner Music Group / Warner Brothers Records.

The self-titled project reportedly delivers further productions from Fraser T. Smith, Stephan Moccio, MNEK, Banx & Ranx, Chris Loco, GRADES, Josh Record, Two Inch Punch, Greg Wells, Billboard, Toby Gad, Axident, Knox Brown, BloodPop, Jayson DeZuzio, and TMS.

Dua Lipa unwraps artwork for debut album

Dua Lipa has unwrapped the artwork for her debut album.

The British singer-songwriter will release the self-titled collection on February 17, 2017 via Warner Brothers Records UK.

Current single “Blow Your Mind (Mwah)” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Lauren Christy (Andra Day, Bebe Rexha) and produced by Jon Levine (Rachel Platten, Leona Lewis).

Other musicians backing Dua Lipa on the keenly-awaited collection are Emile Haynie, Andrew Wyatt, Digital Farm Animals, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Stephen “KOZ” Kozmeniuk, Talay Riley, Chelcee Grimes, and Banx & Ranx.
