Kwabs debuts new single “Fight for Love”

Kwabs has debuted his new single online.

The singer/songwriter – real name Kwabena Adjepong – posted the “Fight for Love” audio clip to his official YouTube channel on Tuesday (May 12, 2015).

“Fight for Love” – available for download from June 28 via iTunes (UK) – was written Kwabs along with Justin Parker (Rihanna, Ellie Goulding) and Francis “Eg” White (Adele, Celine Dion).

The track is lifted from Kwabs’ upcoming debut album “Love + War,” which will hit stores and digital outlets on September 11 under Atlantic Records.

Other album contributors are TMS (Labrinth, Sinead Harnett), Cass Lowe (Cheryl Cole, Shola Ama), Jonny Lattimer (Becky Hill, Ella Eyre), Sam Romans (Olly Murs, Mary J. Blige) and Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys, Sam Smith).

Kwabs confirms new single “Fight for Love”

Kwabs has confirmed the details for his new single.

The singer/songwriter – born Kwabena Adjepong – christened “Fight for Love” as the next promotional cut from his upcoming debut album “Love + War.”

“Fight for Love” – available for download from June 28 via iTunes (UK) – was written by Kwabs along with Justin Parker (Ellie Goulding, Lana Del Rey) and Francis “Eg” White (Celine Dion, Sam Smith).

Initially scheduled to be released in May, “Love + War” – featuring previous singles “Perfect Ruin,” “Walk” and “Wrong or Right” –  will now hit stores and digital outlets on September 11 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The keenly-awaited project boasts productions from TMS (Labrinth, Emeli Sande), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David, Jess Glynne), Jonny Lattimer (Ella Eyre, Sinead Harnett) and Chris Loco (Rita Ora, Kylie Minogue).

Kwabs has confirmed the details for his upcoming debut album.

The singer/songwriter christened his first studio collection “Love + War” and will release it on 18 May via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Current single “Perfect Ruin” – which was co-written by Luke Potashnick and Martin Brammer and produced by Felix Joseph – is now available for download via iTunes (UK).

The track follows previous promotional cut, the Jonny Lattimer-assisted / TMS-produced “Walk,” which topped the German Singles Chart.

Other musicians backing Kwabs on “Love + War” are Fraser T. Smith (Leona Lewis, Celine Dion), Chris Loco (Raleigh Ritchie, Professor Green) and Alexander “Al Shux” Shuckburgh (Lana Del Rey, Elle Varner).

Kwabs has announced the title for his new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Perfect Ruin” as the next promotional cut from his upcoming debut album under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

“Perfect Ruin” was written by Kwabs along with Luke Potashnick (Katie Melua, Olly Murs) and Martin Brammer (Ella Eyre, Karen Harding).

The track serves follows previous single, the TMS-produced “Walk,” which peaked to number one on the German Singles Chart.

Other musicians backing Kwabs on his still-untitled album are Al Shux (Kimbra, Ella Henderson), Chris Loco (Labrinth, Emeli Sande), Fraser T. Smith (Mikky Ekko, Lily Allen) and Jonny Lattimer (Ellie Goulding, Rebecca Ferguson).

Chris Loco hints at new collaboration with Kwabs

Chris Loco has hinted at a new collaboration with Kwabs.

The British hitmaker – born Christopher Crowhurst – previously co-wrote and produced “Into You” for Kwabs. The track appears on the artist’s EP “Pray for Love,” now available for download via iTunes.

Some of his other notable credits are “Feels Like” by Etta Bond [Disturbing London], “Easier in Bed” by Emeli Sande [Capitol Records] and “Lullaby” by Professor Green featuring Tori Kelly [Virgin Records].

Loco also contributed to the next projects by Raleigh Ritchie [Columbia Records], Laura Welsh [Polydor Records], Becky Hill [Parlophone Records], Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records] and Ella Eyre [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, Kwabs is currently recording his upcoming debut album under Atlantic Records. The Warner Music Group imprint also represents artists including Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae, Trey Songz, and Charli XCX.

For the still-untitled LP, Kwabs reportedly teamed with TMS (Olly Murs, Leona Lewis), Al Shux (Alicia Keys, Elle Varner), Fraser T. Smith (Javeon, Bipolar Sunshine) and MNEK (Madonna, Kylie Minogue).

Kwabs unleashes music video for new single “Walk”

Kwabs has unleashed the music video for his new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the David Mould-directed visual clip for “Walk” to his official YouTube page on Tuesday (September 09, 2014).

The track will be available for download from October 9 via iTunes in partnership with Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Production duties on “Walk” were handled by Jonny Lattimer, whose resume includes works for Rebecca Ferguson [Syco Music], Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records] and Sinead Harnett [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, the highly-anticipated debut album by Kwabs – born Kwabena Adjepong – will hit stores and digital outlets in early 2015.

The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts contributions from Craze & Hoax (Pixie Lott, Emeli Sande), Autumn Rowe (Zendaya, Leona Lewis), Fraser T. Smith (Example, Sam Smith) and Kid Harpoon (Shakira, Jessie Ware).

Kwabs debuts music video for new single “Pray for Love”

Kwabs has debuted the music video for his new single online.

“Pray for Love” marks the first promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming mini-album of the same name.

The track was written by Kwabs – born Kwabena Sarkodee Adjepong – along with Eric Appapoulay, Benjamin “Plan B” Drew, and George Moore.

Video treatment was handled by Emil Nava, who is also responsible for Calvin Harris’ “Summer” [Columbia Records], James Arthur’s “Recovery” [Syco Music] and Rixton’s “We All Want the Same Thing” [Interscope Records].

The “Pray for Love” EP is scheduled for release on May 20 via Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records. It serves as the follow-up to “Wrong or Right” EP, which features fan favorites “Spirit Fade” and “Last Stand.”

As previously reported, Kwabs is currently working on his upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album. The highly-anticipated project is expected to hit shelves and online outlets later this year.

Among the hit songwriters and producers enlisted for the project are Craze & Hoax (Naughty Boy, Emeli Sande), Fraser T. Smith (Craig David, Tori Kelly), Kid Harpoon (Shakira, Jessie Ware) and MNEK (Tanika, Kylie Minogue).
