Dinah Jane unleashes debut solo single “Bottled Up”

Dinah Jane has unleashed her debut solo single online.

“Bottled Up” – featuring Marc E. Bassy and Ty Dolla $ign – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by A. Chal (Jennifer Lopez’s “Never Satisfied”) and collectively produced by Nic Nac (Chris Brown’s “Loyal”) and Marc E. Bassy collaborators David Park, James Hau, and William Mosgrove.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Jane’s upcoming debut solo project under L.A. Reid’s Hitco label is expected to arrive later this year.

On the still-untitled collection, Jane has worked with producers Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Neff-U, M-Phazes, Jussifer, Rob Knox, Warren “Oak” Felder, Ido Zmishlany, Jerrod Bettis, Danja, and Willie Donut.

Among the songwriters backing Jane on the project are MoZella, Sebastian Kole, Jin Jin, Ben Abraham, Priscilla Renea, Jonny Price, Delacey, Michael Pollack, Victoria Monet, Sam Fischer, Michelle Buzz, and Jozzy.

Dinah Jane has announced the details for her debut solo single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Bottled Up” – featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Marc E. Bassy – as her first promotional solo cut and will release it on September 21 via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Jane is currently working on her upcoming debut solo project under L.A. Reid’s Hitco label, which is distributed by independent label, EMPIRE.

On the still-untitled collection, Jane has worked with producers Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Neff-U, M-Phazes, Nic Nac, Jussifer, Rob Knox, Warren “Oak” Felder, Ido Zmishlany, Jerrod Bettis, Danja, and Willie Donut.

Among the songwriters backing Jane on the project are MoZella, Paul E. Phamous, Jin Jin, Ben Abraham, Priscilla Renea, Jonny Price, Delacey, Sebastian Kole, Jude Demorest, Michael Pollack, Victoria Monet, Sam Fischer, Michelle Buzz, Verse Simmonds, and Jozzy.

Jennifer Hudson hints at new collaboration with Babyface

Jennifer Hudson has hinted at a new collaboration with Babyface.

“It’s not every day you get to hang out with legends and icons like @la_reid and @babyface … Just chilling,” the actress and singer posted to Instagram.

Babyface recently co-wrote and produced songs for Zendaya (“Something New”), Foxes (“Scar”), Kat Graham (“Secrets”), Jordin Sparks (“They Don’t Give”), and Samantha Jade (“Shake That”).

Along with regular collaborator L.A. Reid, Babyface has helmed hit singles performed by Paula Abdul (“Knocked Out”), Karyn White (“Superwoman”), Pebbles (“Girlfriend”), and Sheena Easton (“The Lover in Me”).

Meanwhile, Hudson is expected to release her fourth studio collection later this year through Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

As mentioned in earlier posts, executive production duties on the still-untitled project are collectively handled by L.A. Reid and Clive Davis.

Hudson’s previous studio collection, 2014’s “JHUD,” debuted at number ten on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” “Walk it Out,” “I Still Love You” and “It’s Your World.”

Jennifer Hudson signs new deal with Epic Records

Jennifer Hudson has signed a new deal with Epic Records and her fourth album is expected to be released later this year.

Epic Records – which is an imprint of Sony Music Entertainment – also houses artists including Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, Tamar Braxton, Zara Larsson, and Sara Bareilles.

Hudson’s last studio collection, 2014’s “JHUD,” debuted at number ten on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “I Can’t Describe (The Way I Feel),” “Walk it Out,” “I Still Love You” and “It’s Your World.”

For the new album, Hudson has teamed up with music moguls L.A. Reid and Clive Davis to serve as executive producers.

The duo previously collaborated on Whitney Houston’s 1992 soundtrack to “The Bodyguard,” which sold over 45 million copies worldwide. The record-smashing collection – which featured further contributions from Lisa Stansfield and Kenny G – is also the best-selling soundtrack of all time.

Kat Dahlia has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter – real name Katriana Huguet – posted the visual clip for “I Think I’m in Love” to her Vevo channel on Tuesday (March 31, 2015).

“I Think I’m in Love” was written by Dahlia along with Justin “J. Dens” DeSantis and the song’s producer Jon Levine, whose other credits include Bebe Rexha (“I’m Gonna Show You Crazy”) and Leona Lewis (“Your Hallelujah”).

Dahlia’s debut album “My Garden” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Gangsta,” “Mirror” and “Crazy” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Vested in Culture and Epic Records.

Fifth Harmony have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The pop quintet posted the visual clip for the Kid Ink-assisted “Worth It” to their Vevo channel on Saturday (March 28, 2015).

“Worth It” was co-written by Priscilla Renea Hamilton, whose other credits include Pitbull’s “Timber” f/ Ke$ha [RCA Records], K. Michelle’s “V.S.O.P” [Atlantic Records] and Tamar Braxton’s “Tip Toe” [Epic Records].

Production duties on “Worth It” were handled by Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen of Stargate, who are also responsible for Jennifer Lopez’s “Feel the Light” [Roc Nation] and Tinashe’s “All Hands on Deck” [RCA Records].

Fifth Harmony’s debut album “Reflection” – featuring previous promotional cuts “BO$$” and “Sledgehammer” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Syco Music and Epic Records.

Ciara has unleashed the music video for her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the visual clip for “I Bet” to her official Vevo channel on Monday (March 09, 2015).

“I Bet” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by Ciara along with siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas of Rock City (Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson) and the song’s producer Harmony Samuels (Brandy, Chris Brown).

Video treatment was handled by Hannah Lux Davis, whose other credits include Nicki Minaj’s “Only” [Cash Money Records], Ariana Grande’s “Love Me Harder” [Republic Records] and Jason Derulo’s “Marry Me” [Warner Bros. Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ciara’s sixth studio collection “Jackie” will hit stores and digital outlets later this year via Epic Records.

The keenly-anticipated project features further collaborations with Dr. Luke (Tinashe, Britney Spears), Cirkut (Usher, Katy Perry), Diane Warren (Paloma Faith, Rita Ora) and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart (Brandy, Jennifer Lopez).
