Fergie unleashes artwork for new single “M.I.L.F. $”

Fergie has unveiled the artwork for her new single online.

“M.I.L.F. $” marks the next promotional cut from the singer-songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album, “Double Dutchess.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, the follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess” will be released later this year through Interscope Records.

The keenly awaited project reportedly delivers productions and songwriting contributions from Toby Gad, Jean Baptiste Kouame, Stephan Moccio, Charlie Puth, Mike WiLL Made It, and RoccStar.

Fergie has selected the title for her upcoming sophomore album.

The singer-songwriter – real name Stacy Ferguson – christened her second studio collection “Double Dutchess” and will release it later this year through Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Lead single “L.A. Love (La La)” peaked to number twenty-seven on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart. The track was co-written by siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas of Rock City and produced by DJ Mustard.

“Double Dutchess” reportedly delivers additional alliances with Toby Gad (Madonna), Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd), Charlie Puth (Kehlani), Mike WiLL Made It (Ciara), RoccStar (Usher) and Jean Baptiste Kouame (Rihanna).

Fergie’s first studio collection, 2006’s “The Dutchess,” debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “London Bridge,” “Clumsy” and “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

Zendaya has revealed the details for her new single.

The actress-singer-songwriter christened “Something New” – featuring Chris Brown – as the first promotional cut from her upcoming second album.

Production duties on “Something New” were handled by Leon Thomas and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes of The Rascals (Fleur East), Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (Madonna) and Antonio “Tony” Dixon (Justin Bieber).

Zendaya’s sophomore studio collection is scheduled for release later this year through Universal Music Group / Republic Records.

Other album contributors include Timbaland (Justin Timberlake), Diane Warren (Leona Lewis), RoccStar (Prince Royce), Talay Riley (Keri Hilson), Deputy (Rihanna), Taylor Parks (Meghan Trainor), and Jim Beanz (Craig David).

Fergie reunites with Toby Gad for new album

Fergie has reunited with Toby Gad for her upcoming sophomore album.

Gad previously co-wrote Fergie’s “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart in 2007.

His recent songwriting and production credits include Olly Murs’ “Love Shouldn’t Be This Hard” [Epic], Hilary Duff’s “Belong” [RCA], Tori Kelly’s “First Heartbreak” [Capitol], and John Newman’s “I’m Not Your Man” [Island].

Moreover, Gad has contributed to the next projects by Nico & Vinz [Warner Bros], Clean Bandit [Atlantic], Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI], Craig David [Insanity], Sabina Ddumba [Warner Music], and LeAnn Rimes [Curb].

Fergie, on the other hand, is scheduled to release the follow-up to 2006’s “The Dutchess” in March through Interscope Records.

Other contributors on the still-untitled album are Will.i.am (Cheryl), Jean Baptiste (Madonna), Mike WiLL Made It (Rihanna), RoccStar (Usher), DJ Mustard (Tinashe), Charlie Puth (Trey Songz), and Dr. Luke (Ciara).

John Legend has drafted the songwriting and production services of Hayley Warner and Jonathan Rotem for his upcoming fifth album.

Warner is known for co-writing Tori Kelly’s “Hollow” [Capitol], Tina Arena’s “I Want to Love You” [EMI] and Samantha Jade’s “Castle” [Sony Music].

Meanwhile, recent production credits by Rotem include Who is Fancy’s “Boys Like You” f/ Meghan Trainor & Ariana Grande [Republic], Gwen Stefani’s “Used to Love You” [Interscope] and Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Epic].

As mentioned in earlier posted, Legend is scheduled to release the follow-up to 2013’s “Love in the Future” next year through Columbia Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly features additional alliances with Malay (Zayn Malik), Sam Romans (Mary J. Blige), Alex Da Kid (Rihanna), RoccStar (Usher), Sean Garrett (Beyonce) and Joel Compass (Seal).

John Legend has enlisted Joel Compass for his upcoming album.

“So blessed! Had the pleasure of producing/writing with the coolest guy doing it right now @JohnLegend,” Compass posted to his Twitter account.

On the songwriting and production front, Compass is known for his work with FKA twigs (“Time”), Laura Welsh (“Soft Control”), Lion Babe (“Impossible”), M.O (“Preach”), Seal (“Monascow”) and Tinashe (“Fire and Flames”).

As a singer, his promotional cuts “Run,” “Forgive Me” and “Girlfriends” are now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Polydor Records and Amanda Ghost’s Outsiders Recorded Music Limited.

Meanwhile, Legend is scheduled to release his fifth studio collection and follow-up to 2013’s “Love in the Future” next year through Columbia Records.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts additional alliances with Malay (Frank Ocean), Alex Da Kid (Rihanna), RoccStar (CeeLo Green), Sean Garrett (Jamie Foxx) and Sam Romans (Mary J. Blige).

John Legend has recorded new music with Sean “The Pen” Garrett.

“Wow!!! 2 hrs and presto!!! @johnlegend #smashinontheradio,” the singer, songwriter, and record producer posted to his Instagram account.

Garrett previously co-wrote and produced songs for Chris Brown (“Ain’t No Way”), Jamie Foxx (“DJ Play a Love Song”), Usher (“She Don’t Know”), Janet Jackson (“My Baby”) and Avery Wilson (“If I Have To”).

His extensive credits include further works with Nicole Scherzinger (“Whatever You Like”), Christina Milian (“I Need More”), Kelis (“Bossy”), Ciara (“Goodies”), Fantasia (“Not the Way I Do”) and Alicia Keys (“Waiting for Your Love”).

Meanwhile, Legend is expected to release his fifth studio collection next year through Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The still-untitled CD reportedly features collaborations with James “Malay” Ho (Raury, Zayn Malik), Alex Da Kid (Rihanna, Christina Aguilera), ROMANS (Labrinth, Mary J. Blige) and RoccStar (Fergie, Prince Royce).
