LeToya Luckett shares new promotional single “Feeling”

LeToya Luckett has shared her new promotional single online.

“Feeling” – which was produced by Doh Boy (Sammie’s “Unappreciated” and Eric Bellinger’s “Staring at the Ceiling” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was also co-written by Durrell “Tank” Babbs, who previously teamed up with Luckett on “Good to Me,” “Over” and “Regret,” taken from the artist’s sophomore studio collection, 2009’s “Lady Love.”

Luckett’s most recent album, “Back 2 Life,” which peaked to number forty-four on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart and spawned singles “Back 2 Life,” “Used To” and “Weekend.”

LeToya Luckett premieres music video for new single “In the Name of Love”

LeToya Luckett has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The American singer, songwriter, and actress posted the visual clip for “In the Name of Love” to her Vevo Channel on Monday (July 31, 2017).

The track was written by Luckett alongside Joaquin Bynum (Jon B, Marques Houston), Taurian “Adonis” Shropshire (Ciara, Keyshia Cole) and Warryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell (Brandy, Kanye West).

Featuring previous promotional singles “B2L” and “Used To,” Luckett’s latest album “Back to Life” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up 2009’s “Lady Love” boasts additional alliances with Andre Harris (Usher), D’Mile (Janet Jackson), Eric Dawkins (Chante Moore), First Born (Keyshia Cole), Alvin Isaacs (Trey Songz), Jackie Boyz (David Guetta), Midian Mathers (Beyonce), Sickpen (Claudette Ortiz) and Jo Blaq (Ariana Grande).

LeToya Luckett works with Warryn Campbell for new album

LeToya Luckett has worked with Warryn Campbell for her upcoming album.

“In the studio with @WarrynCampbell tonight. Can’t wait for y’all to hear what we’ve got up our sleeve,” the singer, songwriter, and actress posted to her Instagram account on Monday (November 16, 2015).

Campbell’s extensive songwriting and production resume includes works with Mary Mary (“Praise You”), Jill Scott (“Quick”), Amerie (“Higher”), Chante Moore (“My Eyes”), Brandy (“Who I Am”) and Christina Milian (“Highway”).

He also serves as executive producer for Erica Campbell’s latest album, “Help 2.0,” now available for download via iTunes and all other online outlets.

Meanwhile, Luckett is scheduled to release her third album – featuring singles “Don’t Make Me Wait” and “I’m Ready” – next year through eOne Music.

The follow-up to 2009’s “Lady Love”, tentatively entitled “Until Then,” reportedly delivers additional alliances with Ryan Leslie (Mary J. Blige), Andre Harris (Melanie Fiona), Tank (Jennifer Hudson) and Nikeshia Briscoe (Keyshia Cole).

LeToya Luckett has reunited with Ryan Leslie for her upcoming third album.

Leslie previously co-wrote “Take Away Love” for Luckett along with British singer/songwriter Estelle Swaray.

His other songwriting and production credits include Britney Spears’ “The Answer” [Jive], Cassie’s “Me and You” [Bad Boy], Megan Rochell’s “My Mistake” [Def Jam] and Cheri Dennis’ “I Love You” [Atlantic].

Meanwhile, Luckett is expected to release her next studio collection “Until Then” – featuring singles “Don’t Make Me Wait” and “I’m Ready” – later this year through Entertainment One Music.

Among the musicians associated with highly-anticipated project are Andre Harris (Jill Scott, Melanie Fiona), Durrell “Tank” Babbs (K. Michelle, Toni Braxton) and Nikeshia Briscoe (Keyshia Cole, Cobra Starship).

Luckett’s last album, 2009’s “Lady Love,” peaked to number twelve on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including the Ne-Yo-penned “Not Anymore” and Ludacris-assisted “Regret.”

Ciara unleases new single “I Bet”

Ciara has unleashed her new single online.

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “I Bet” to her official Vevo page on Tuesday (January 13, 2015).

“I Bet” was co-written by siblings Theron and Royce Thomas of Rock City, who previously teamed with the artist on “I’m Out” and “Keep On Looking.”

The duo are also co-responsible for Becky G’s “Shower” [Kemosabe Records], Keyshia Cole “New Nu” [Interscope Records], Rihanna’s “Man Down” [Def Jam Recordings] and Usher’s “I Don’t Mind” [RCA Records].

Production duties on “I Bet” were handled by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, whose other credits include Tamar Braxton’s “Let Me Know” [Epic Records] and Jasmine V’s “That’s Me Right There” [Interscope Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Gabi Wilson [RCA Records], Pia Mia [Interscope Records], LeToya Luckett [Entertainment One Music Group] and Jojo [Atlantic Records].

Ciara’s upcoming sixth studio collection, “Jackie,” is due later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records.

The keenly-awaited project follows 2013’s “Ciara,” which peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit single “Body Party.”

Other musicians backing the “Body Party” star on the new album are Dr. Luke, Henry “Cirkut” Walter, Jamal “Polow Da Don” Jones, Mike Will Made It, Kenneth “Soundz” Coby and Diane Warren.

LeToya Luckett has debuted her new single online.

The R&B singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “I’m Ready” to her official YouTube page on Monday (January 05, 2014).

“I’m Ready” was co-written by Luckett along with siblings Carlos and Steven Battey of The Jackie Boyz, who have also worked with Madonna (“Revolver”), Chris Brown (“Graffiti”) and David Guetta (“Toy Friend”).

Production duties were handled by Dernst “D’Mile” Emile, whose other credits include Mali Music’s “Heavy Love” [RCA Records], Ciara’s “Livin’ It Up” [Epic Records] and Wynter Gordon’s “Back to You” [Big Beat Records].

Previous single, the Andre Harris-produced “Don’t Make Me Wait,” is now available for download via iTunes (US).

As mentioned in earlier posts, LeToya’s keenly-awaited third studio album “Until Then” will be released later this year via Entertainment One Music Group.

The follow-up to 2009’s “Lady Love” reportedly boasts further collaborations with Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Nicki Minaj), Andrea Martin (Jordin Sparks, Toni Braxton) and Harmony Samuels (Ariana Grande, Teyana Taylor).

Jasmine V has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“That’s Me Right There” – featuring Kendrick Lamar – marks the first promotional single from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming mini-album on Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

The track – written by Carmen Reece, Al Sherrod Lambert, Chris Jackson and Harmony Samuels – is now available for download via iTunes.

Video treatment has handled by Gil Green, who is also responsible for Trey Songz’s “What’s Best for You” [Atlantic Records], Jason Derulo’s “Stupid Love” [Warner Bros. Records] and DJ Khaled’s “Hold You Down” [Republic Records].

Jasmine V’s still-untitled EP will boast further alliances with Shaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith (Keri Hilson, Lionel Richie), Sam Hook (Mary J. Blige, August Alsina) and Kenneth “Soundz” Coby (LeToya Luckett, K. Michelle).
