Lion Babe premieres “Where Do We Go” music video

Lion Babe have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The experimental soul duo posted the Luke Gilford-directed clip for “Where Do We Go” to their Vevo channel on Sunday (January 31, 2016).

“Where Do We Go” was co-written by group members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman along with Anjulie Persaud (Kelly Clarkson, Madison Beer) and Robin Hannibal (Laura Welsh, Erik Hassle).

Production duties were handled by Mark Ralph, who is also responsible for AlunaGeorge’s “I’m in Control” [Island], Foxes’ “Wicked Love” [RCA], and Clean Bandit’s “Extraordinary” f/ Sharna Bass [Atlantic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lion Babe’s first studio collection “Begin” – featuring previous singles “Treat Me Like Fire,” “Jump Hi,” and “Impossible” – will hit stores on February 5 via Outsiders Record Music / Polydor Records.

Other album contributors include Amanda Ghost (Beyonce), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys), Pharrell Williams (Kelly Rowland), Makeba Riddick (Toni Braxton), Dave Sitek (Kelis), Andrew Wyatt (Bruno Mars), and Joel Compass (FKA twigs).

Lion Babe have unveiled the artwork for their upcoming debut album.

The experimental soul duo – composed of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman – are scheduled to release “Begin” in the UK on February 5 through Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records.

Among the tracks slotted for inclusion on “Begin” are “Jump Hi,” “Wonder Woman,” “Impossible,” “Jungle Lady,” and “Treat Me Like Fire.”

The highly-anticipated LP also boasts alliances with Amanda Ghost (Beyonce), Mark Ralph (Years & Years), Joel Compass (Seal), Makeba Riddick (Tamar Braxton), Pharrell Williams (Usher), and Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys).

The experimental soul duo – consisting of members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman – posted the audio clip for “Where Do We Go” to their Vevo channel on Thursday (November 19, 2015).

Production duties on “Where Do We Go” were handled by Mark Ralph, whose other credits include Blonde’s “All Cried Out” [Parlophone], Clean Bandit’s “Extraordinary” [Atlantic] and Years & Years’ “Eyes Shut” [Polydor].

Meanwhile, Lion Babe are scheduled to release their debut album “Begin” – featuring previous singles “Treat Me Like Fire,” “Jump Hi,” “Wonder Woman” and “Impossible” – on January 22 through Amanda Ghost’s label Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records.

Lion Babe recruits Mark Ralph for debut album

Lion Babe have recruited Mark Ralph for their upcoming debut album.

The record producer and songwriter is known for helming Years & Years’ “Take Shelter” [Polydor], Clean Bandit’s “Extraordinary” f/ Sharna Bass [Atlantic] and Blonde’s “All Cried Out” f/ Alex Newell [Parlophone Records].

He also collaborated with top musicians including Kid Harpoon (Shakira, Florence Welch), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Ella Eyre), Lucas Secon (Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks) and Cass Lowe (Gabrielle Aplin, Sinead Harnett).

Meanwhile, Lion Babe are expected to release their first studio collection later this year through Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (UK).

Current single “Impossible” – out now via iTunes – was written group members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman along with Amanda Ghost, Joel Compass, Fred Cox, Linden Jay, and Lewis “Shift K3Y” Jankel.

Other album contributors include Pharrell Williams (Toni Braxton), Makeba Riddick (Beyonce), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys), Andrew Wyatt (Charli XCX), MNEK (Kylie Minogue), Jin Jin (Little Mix) and Dave Sitek (Kelis).

Disclosure have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music duo posted the visual clip for “Jaded” to their Vevo channel on Tuesday (September 15, 2015).

“Jaded” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by group members Guy and Howard Lawrence along with Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys, Ellie Goulding) and ROMANS (Ella Henderson, John Legend).

Video treatment was handled by Ryan Hope, who is also behind Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” [Capitol Records], The Kooks’ “Around Town” [Virgin Records] and Chromeo’s “Jealous (I Ain’t With It)” [Big Beat Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Disclosure’s sophomore album “Caracal” – featuring previous singles “Omen” and “Holding On” – will hit stores and digital outlets on September 25 through PMR Records and Island Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Settle” delivers further guest appearances from Lion Babe (“Hourglass”), Kwabs (“Willing and Able”), Lorde (“Magnets”), The Weeknd (“Nocturnal”), Nao (“Superego”) and Miguel (“Good Intentions”).

The UK electronic music duo – composed of siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence – posted the audio clip for “Hourglass” to their Vevo channel.

“Hourglass” – now available for download via iTunes – delivers vocals from Jillian Hervey of Interscope / Polydor recording group Lion Babe.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Disclosure’s sophomore album “Caracal” – featuring previous singles “Willing and Able,” “Holding On” and “Omen” – will hit stores on September 28 through PMR Records and Island Records.

In addition to boasting songwriting contributions from Jimmy Napes and ROMANS, “Caracal” delivers further appearances from Lorde (“Magnets”), The Weeknd (“Nocturnal”), Nao (“Superego”) and Miguel (“Good Intentions”).

The keenly-awaited LP serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Settle,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Latch,” “You and Me,” “White Noise,” “F for You” and “Voices.”

Disclosure have unleashed a new song online.

The British electronic music production duo – consisting of siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence – posted the audio clip for “Willing and Able” to their Vevo channel on Thursday (August 13, 2015).

“Willing and Able” was co-written by regular collaborator Jimmy Napes, whose resume includes further works with Alicia Keys [RCA], Ellie Goulding [Polydor], Eliza Doolittle [Parlophone] and Karen Harding [Capitol].

The track also delivers poignant vocals from singer/songwriter Kwabs, who is scheduled to release his debut album “Love and War” on September 11 through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

Meanwhile, Disclosure’s second studio collection “Caracal” – featuring hit singles “Omen” and “Holding On” – will hit stores and digital outlets on September 25 via PMR Records and Island Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Settle” boasts additional guest appearances from Miguel [RCA], The Weeknd [Republic], Lion Babe [Polydor], Nao [Little Tokyo], Gregory Portman [Blue Note] and Sam Smith [Capitol Records].

Shift K3Y has unveiled a new song online.

The British singer, songwriter and record producer posted the audio clip for “Still Love You” to his Vevo channel on Thursday (August 13, 2015).

“Still Love You” – now available for download via iTunes – features vocals from James Fauntleroy, whose songwriting resume boasts works for Jordin Sparks (“No Air”), Chris Brown (“Superhuman”) and Beyonce (“Blow”).

Meanwhile, Shift K3Y is currently putting the final touches on his upcoming debut studio collection under Sony Music UK. The still-untitled project will include previous singles “Touch,” “Off the Record” and “I Know.”

As a songwriter and producer, Shift K3Y – real name Lewis Jankel – is also known for collaborating with the likes of KStewart [Cherry Bomb Records], Lion Babe [Interscope Records] and Joel Compass [Polydor Records].

Disclosure have unwrapped the tracklist for their upcoming album.

The electronic music production duo will release “Caracal” on September 25 through PMR Records and Island Records.

Group members Guy and Howard Lawrence co-wrote “Caracal” along with regular collaborator Jimmy Napes, whose credits include Clean Bandit (“Rather Be”), Mary J. Blige (“Right Now”) and Gorgon City (“Unmissable”).

Furthermore, Napes has contributed to the next projects by Alicia Keys [RCA Records], Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records], Eliza Doolittle [Parlophone Records], Karen Harding [Capitol Records] and Grace [RCA Records].

Disclosure’s debut album, 2013’s “Settle,” debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hit singles including “Latch” (featuring Sam Smith), “White Noise” (featuring AlunaGeorge)” and “Voices” (featuring Sasha Keable).

On the highly-anticipated new album, Disclosure have enlisted the likes of The Weeknd (“Nocturnal”), Lorde (“Magnets”), Miguel (“Good Intentions”), Lion Babe (“Hourglass”), Nao (“Supergo”) and Kwabs (“Willing & Able”).

Lion Babe have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

The soul duo – consisting of Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman – posted the visual clip for “Impossible” to their Vevo channel on Tuesday (July 28, 2015).

Hervey and Goodman wrote “Impossible” along with Amanda Ghost (Beyonce, Kylie Minogue), Joel Compass (FKA twigs, Nicola Roberts), Shift K3Y (Jessie Ware, Tove Lo) and Linden Jay (Secaina Hudson, Paloma Faith).

Lion Babe’s debut album – featuring the Pharrell Williams-produced “Wonder Woman” – will hit stores later this year through Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (US).

The still-untitled CD boasts further contributions from MNEK (Madonna, Emeli Sande), Dave Sitek (Kelis, Elliphant), Makeba Riddick (Rihanna, David Guetta), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars) and Jin Jin (Raye, Little Mix).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Lion Babe have also contributed to the sophomore album by British electronic production duo Disclosure. “Caracal” will be available for download from September 25 via PMR / Island Records.
