DJ Fresh drafts Ella Eyre for new single “Gravity”

DJ Fresh has debuted his new single online.

The British record producer posted the audio clip for “Gravity” – featuring Ella Eyre – to his official SoundCloud page on Wednesday (November 13, 2014).

“Gravity” follows the Ellie Goulding-featuring “Flashlight” and Little Nikki-assisted “Make U Bounce,” which peaked at number 7 on the UK Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, Eyre is currently putting the final touches on her upcoming first studio album “Feline.” The highly-anticipated project is expected to be released in early 2015 via Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Her self-titled EP is now available for download via iTunes (US). The project boasts collaborations with Two Inch Punch (“Deeper”), Jarrad “Jaz” Rogers (“If I Go”), Ilya KnocDown (“Comeback”) and Paddy Byrne (“Home”).

Ella Eyre hits the studio with DJ Fresh

Ella Eyre is making music with DJ Fresh.

There’s been no word on what the pair worked on last night, or whether the session was intended for a future DJ Fresh release or Eyre’s debut album.

DJ Fresh’s last single “Make You Bounce” – which features vocals from Little Nikki – debuted at number ten on the UK Singles Chart.

The electronic music producer’s resume also includes works for Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records], Rita Ora [Columbia Records], Liam Bailey [Flying Buddha Records] and Girls Aloud [Fascination Records].

Meanwhile, Eyre is currently putting the final touches on her upcoming debut album with Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records.

Current single “Comeback” – which was written by Eyre along with Alexander Kronlund, Oscar “OZGO” Goerres and Ilya “KnocDown” Salmanzadeh – will be available for download from September 28 via iTunes (UK).

Other musicians backing Eyre on her as-yet-untitled LP are Chris Loco (Professor Green, Tori Kelly), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran) and Jarrad “Jaz” Rogers (Becky Hill, Rebecca Ferguson).

Watch the music video for Sigma’s “Changing” below. The Paloma Faith-assisted track was written by Ella Eyre and Wayne Hector along with Thomas “Froe” Barnes, Peter “Merf” Kelleher and Benjamin Kohn of TMS.

Little Nikki has debuted the music video for her new single online.

“Little Nikki Says” is taken from the singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The track – co-written by Emily Green and David Dawood – follows previews singles “Intro Intro,” “Where I’m From” and “DILLIGAF.”

Among the other musicians backing Little Nikki – real name Nicole Shortland – on the still-untitled collection are Future Cut: Darren Lewis & Tunde Babalola (Melanie Fiona, Bruno Mars), Lucas Secon (Conor Maynard, Pixie Lott) and Karl Gordon (Jessie J, Solange Knowles).

Little Nikki has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Where I’m Coming From” will be included on the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, which is expected to be released later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

As previously reported, the still-untitled collection by Little Nikki – real name Nicole Shortland – will boast productions and songwriting alliances with Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, Dimitri Tikovoi, Fred Cox, Karen Poole, Lucas Secon, Karl “K-Gee” Gordon, Darren Lewis and Tunde Babalola.

Little Nikki has confirmed Karl “K-Gee” Gordon for her upcoming debut album, due later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The hit songwriter and producer is responsible for helming tracks including “Stand Up” by Jessie J [Universal Music Group / Republic Records] and “We Run Things” by Jamie Cullum [Universal Music Group / Decca Records].

Among the top songwriters he previously teamed up with are Michelle Escoffery, Shaznay Lewis, Alistair Tennant, Solange Knowles and Alesha Dixon.

Meanwhile, the still-untitled collection by Little Nikki – featuring singles “Intro Intro” and “DILLIGAF” – will boast further collaborations with Lucas Secon (Christina Aguilera, Natasha Bedingfield), Dimitri Tikovoi (Sophie Ellis Bextor, Nicola Roberts), Fred Cox (Tanika Bailey, Etta Bond) and Future Cut: Darren Lewis & Tunde Babalola (Stooshe, Little Mix).

“DILLIGAF” – which is an acronym for Do I Look like I Give a Fuck? – marks the second promotional single from the British singer/songwriter’s upcoming debut album, due later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records.
