Bleachers release new single “Hate That You Know Me”

American indie pop act Bleachers – fronted by musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer Jack Antonoff – have released their new single online.

“Hate That You Know Me” – featuring background vocals from Lorde, Carly Rae Jepsen, Julia Michaels, and Sam Dew – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Julia Michaels, who previously teamed up with Antonoff on Fifth Harmony’s “Dope,” taken from the group’s sophomore album, “7/27,” as well as “How Do We Get Back to Love,” taken from the soundtrack to the sixth season of original HBO series, “Girls.”

Production duties on “Hate That You Know Me” were handled by Antonoff alongside Greg Kurstin, whose recent credits include Brooke Candy’s “Living Out Loud,” Frances’ “Say it Again,” Niall Horan’s “This Town,” Sia’s “The Greatest,” Shura’s “Tongue Tied,” and Gwen Stefani’s “Rare.”

As mentioned in various media outlets, Bleachers’ sophomore studio collection “Gone Now” – featuring previous single “Don’t Take the Money” – will arrive on June 2 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

In addition to Kurstin, Antonoff has also collaborated with fellow producers Organized Noize (Big Boi, Cee Lo Green) and Sounwave (Kendrick Lamar, Raleigh Ritchie) on the follow-up to 2014’s “Strange Desire.”

American indie pop act Bleachers have dropped their new single online.

“Don’t Take the Money” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Lorde – real name Ella Yelich-O’Connor – alongside Bleachers’ lead vocalist Jack Antonoff, whose resume boasts works with other artists including Zayn Malik (“I Don’t Wanna Live Forever”), Taylor Swift (“Out of the Woods”), Brooke Candy (“Changes”), Rachel Platten (“Stand By You”), Christina Perri (“I Don’t Wanna Break”), Sara Bareilles (“Brave”), Carly Rae Jepsen (“Sweetie”) and Troye Sivan (“Heaven”).

Production duties on “Don’t Take the Money” were collectively handled by Vince Clarke alongside Greg Kurstin, whose recent credits include Brooke Candy’s “Living Out Loud,” Frances’ “Say it Again,” Niall Horan’s “This Town,” Sia’s “The Greatest,” Shura’s “Tongue Tied,” and Gwen Stefani’s “Rare.”

Bleachers’ upcoming sophomore album, on the other hand, is scheduled to arrive later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2014’s “Strange Desire,” which peaked to number eleven on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles including “I Wanna Get Better” and “Like a River Runs.”

New Zealand singer/songwriter Lorde (real name Ella Maria Lani Yelich-O’Connor) has released a new promotional single online.

“Liability” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and co-produced by Jack Antonoff, whose other credits include Zayn Malik’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” Fifth Harmony’s “Dope,” Taylor Swift’s “Out of the Woods,” Brooke Candy’s “Changes,” Sia’s “House on Fire,” Troy Sivan’s “Heaven,” and Rachel Platten’s “Stand By You”

As mentioned in various media outlets, Lorde’s highly-anticipated sophomore studio collection “Melodrama” – featuring previous single “Green Light” – will arrive on June 16 via Universal Music NZ.

“Green Light” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by New Zealand musician Joel Little, who previously teamed up with Lorde on “Pure Heroine” singles “Royals,” “Team,” “No Better,” “Tennis Court” and “Glory and Gore.”

Production duties “Green Light” were collectively handled by Lorde alongside Jack Antonoff (Christina Perri, Taylor Swift), Frank Dukes (Camila Cabello, Kanye West) and Kuk Harrell (Rihanna, Jessie J).

Lorde’s upcoming sophomore studio collection is entitled “Melodrama” and it will arrive later this year via Universal Music New Zealand.

Lorde hints at new collaboration with Jack Antonoff

Lorde has hinted at a new collaboration with Jack Antonoff.

“Just a couple of dorks mudding on a Friday night at Lena’s fancy dinner party @JackAntonoff,” the New Zealand singer/songwriter tweeted.

Antonoff recently co-wrote “Stand By You” for Rachel Platten along with Joy Williams and Jon Levine. The track is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment imprint Columbia Records.

The lead singer and songwriter of Bleachers’ resume includes further works with Sia [Monkey Puzzle], Charli XCX [Neon Gold / Atlantic], Tinashe [RCA] and Carly Rae Jepsen [Schoolboy / Interscope].

Meanwhile, Lorde – real name Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor – is expected to release her second studio album later this year through Republic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2013’s “Pure Heroine,” which peaked to number three on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and delivered hit singles including “Royals,” “Tennis Court” and “Team.”

Furthermore, Lorde has provided guest vocals on the track “Magnets,” taken from British electronic music duo Disclosure’s latest album “Caracal,” out now via PMR Records and Island Records.

Disclosure have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music production duo – composed of siblings Guy and Howard Lawrence – posted the visual clip for “Magnets” to their Vevo channel on Tuesday (September 29, 2015).

“Magnets” – featuring singer/songwriter Lorde – was co-written by Jimmy Napes, who also worked on the next projects by Ellie Goulding [Interscope], Alicia Keys [RCA], Eliza Doolittle [Parlophone] and Raye [Polydor].

Video treatment was handled by regular collaborator Ryan Hope, who previous credits include Sam Smith (“Lay Me Down”), 2 Chainz (“Feds Watching”), Bombay Bicyle Club (“Leave It”) and The Kooks (“Around Town”).

Disclosure’s sophomore album “Caracal” – featuring previous singles “Holding On,” “Omen,” “Willing and Able” and “Hourglass” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with PMR Records and Island Records.

Disclosure have unveiled the music video for their new single online.

The British electronic music duo posted the visual clip for “Jaded” to their Vevo channel on Tuesday (September 15, 2015).

“Jaded” – now available for download via iTunes – was written by group members Guy and Howard Lawrence along with Jimmy Napes (Alicia Keys, Ellie Goulding) and ROMANS (Ella Henderson, John Legend).

Video treatment was handled by Ryan Hope, who is also behind Sam Smith’s “Lay Me Down” [Capitol Records], The Kooks’ “Around Town” [Virgin Records] and Chromeo’s “Jealous (I Ain’t With It)” [Big Beat Records].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Disclosure’s sophomore album “Caracal” – featuring previous singles “Omen” and “Holding On” – will hit stores and digital outlets on September 25 through PMR Records and Island Records.

The follow-up to 2013’s “Settle” delivers further guest appearances from Lion Babe (“Hourglass”), Kwabs (“Willing and Able”), Lorde (“Magnets”), The Weeknd (“Nocturnal”), Nao (“Superego”) and Miguel (“Good Intentions”).
