Alicia Keys reunites with Jeff Bhasker for new collaboration

American singer, songwriter, record producer Alicia Keys has reunited with fellow musician Jeff Bhasker for a new collaboration.

Bhasker previously co-wrote and co-produced “Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart,” “Love is Blind,” “Wait Til You See My Smile,” “Like the Sea,” “Girl on Fire” and the Bruno Mars-assisted “Tears Always Win,” taken from the albums “The Element of Freedom” (2009) and “Girl on Fire” (2012), respectively.

Bhasker’s extensive resume boasts additional works with Beyonce (“Party”), Mark Ronson (“Uptown Funk”), Rihanna (“Kiss it Better”), Ed Sheeran (“Photograph”), Katy Perry (“Pendulum”), Harry Styles (“Sign of the Times”), Lana Del Rey (“National Anthem”) and Drake (“Find Your Love”).

Meanwhile, Keys is expected to release her seventh studio collection later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Here” reportedly delivers further contributions from Swizz Beatz, Kaytranada, Johnny McDaid, Stacy Barthe, Arrow Benjamin, Emile Haynie, Fred Ball, DaHeala, Foy Vance, and Andrew Wyatt.

American singer, songwriter, and record producer Alicia Keys has teamed up with fellow musician Andrew Wyatt for a new collaboration.

The Miike Snow vocalist is responsible for co-writing singles including Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man,” Lorde’s “Perfect Places,” Dua Lipa’s “New Love,” Liam Gallagher’s “Chinatown,” and Beck’s “Dreams.”

Wyatt’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with Florence + The Machine (“Wish That You Were Here”), Kacy Hill (“First Time”), Pixie Lott (“Ain’t Got You”) and Charli XCX (“I Need Ur Love”).

Meanwhile, Keys is expected to release her seventh studio collection early next year via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2016’s “Here” reportedly delivers further productions and songwriting contributions from Kaytranada, Johnny McDaid, Stacy Barthe, Arrow Benjamin, Emile Haynie, Fred Ball, DaHeala, and Foy Vance.

Craig David releases new album “The Time is Now”

British singer/songwriter Craig David has released his seventh album online.

“The Time is Now” – featuring singles “Heartline,” “For the Gram,” “I Know You” and “Live in the Moment” – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The highly-anticipated project boasts songwriting contributions from Ed Drewett (Taya, Becky Hill), Rachel Furner (Frances, Alice Chater), Sam Romans (Cosima, Ella Henderson), Helen “Carmen Reece” Culver (Stanaj, Tamar Braxton) and Talay Riley (Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha).

On the production front, David has worked with Fraser T. Smith (Raye, Mabel McVey), Tre Jean-Marie (Fleur East, Imani Williams), Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran, James Blunt), Diztortion (Caitlyn Scarlett, Ella Mai), Jonas Blue (Arlissa, Sabrina Carpenter) and Kaytranada (Cassie, Mary J. Blige).

Craig David delivers new promotional single “Live in the Moment”

British singer/songwriter Craig David has delivered his new single online.

“Live in the Moment” – featuring GoldLink – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Tre Jean-Marie, who also contributed to the next projects by Little Mix, Christina Aguilera, Imani Williams, Ella Mai, Antigoni Buxton, Taya, Melissa Steel, L Devine, Bobii Lewis, Mabel McVey, OMI, Louisa Johnson, Andreya Triana, Mo Adeniran, Fleur East, and Jason Derulo.

Production duties on “Live in the Moment” were handled by Louis “Kaytranada” Celestin, who is also responsible for Cassie’s “Don’t Play it Safe,” Mary J. Blige’s “Telling the Truth,” Katy B’s “Honey,” Zak Abel’s “Say Something,” Talib Kweli’s “Butterfly,” Anderson Paak’s “Lite Weight,” and Kali Uchis’ “Rush.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, David’s upcoming seventh album “The Time is Now” – featuring previous promotional singles “Heartline,” “I Know You” and “For the Gram” – is scheduled to arrive on January 26th via Insanity Records.

Troye Sivan christens “My My My” as new promotional single

South African-Australian singer, songwriter, and actor Troye Sivan has christened “My My My” as his next promotional single and will release it on January 12 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Sivan alongside Oscar “OzGo” Gorres (Taylor Swift, Britney Spears), Brett “Leland” McLaughlin (Rachel Platten, Andy Grammer) and James Ghaleb (Katy Perry, The Script).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Sivan’s upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2015’s “Blue Neighbourhood” is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Capitol Records.

Carmen Reece has teased a new collaboration with Craig David.

“Back in with this special soul.. 🎤💜✒️ My friend the one and only – Mr. @craigdavid ✨💜✨,” the British singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Sunday (December 31, 2017).

Born Helen Culver, Reece previously teamed up with David on his current promotional single “I Know You,” featuring Bastille. The Fraser T. Smith-produced track peaked to number twenty-five on the UK Singles Chart.

Reece’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with K. Michelle (“Woman of My Word”), Tamar Braxton (“Blind”), Ariana Grande (“Right There”), Jasmine V (“That’s Me Right There”), Samantha Jade (“Shake That”), Teyana Taylor (“Put Your Love On”), Jessica Mauboy (“Can I Get a Moment?”), Sabina Ddumba (“Not Too Young”) and Michelle Williams (“Say Yes”).

American singer-songwriter-record producer Alicia Keys has provided guest vocals on the track “Like Home,” taken from Eminem’s upcoming ninth album “Revival,” out on December 15 via Aftermath / Shady / Interscope Records.

“Like Home” was co-written by Skylar Grey alongside Andrew Jackson, whose other credits include Galantis’ “Written in the Stars,” Sean Paul’s “No Lie,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Bitter End,” Charlie Wilson’s “New Addiction,” Alex Newell’s “This Ain’t Over,” Frank Walker’s “Piano,” and Olly Murs’ “Love You More.”
