Foxes teams with Courage for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Louisa Allen, professionally known as Foxes, has teamed up with Courage for a new collaboration.

The UK record producer and songwriter, born Joseph Carson, previously collaborated with artists including Taya (“Looking For”), Ray BLK (“My Hood”), Lao Ra (“Wild at Heart”), Tara Carosielli (“Lunatic”), Amber Simone (“Let You Go”), Liv Dawson (“The Less You Know the Better) and JONES (“Limbo”).

His EP “Get Some Courage, Volume 1” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Foxes is expected to release her third studio collection, which serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “All I Need,” later this year via Sign of the Times in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment UK.

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers additional alliances with Starsmith (Mika), Kid Harpoon (Harry Styles), Jim Eliot (Kylie Minogue), Max McElligott (Craig David), Jonny Harris (Rudimental), Laura Dockrill (Jorja Smith), Captain Cuts (Halsey), Joe Janiak (Britney Spears), Tommy English (Noah Cyrus), Jaramye Daniels (Beyonce) and Christopher Baran (Melanie Martinez).

The multi-platinum selling songwriter, producer, remixer and DJ (born Finlay Dow-Smith) is known for helming Ellie Goulding’s “Starry Eyed,” Jess Glynne’s “Hold My Hand,” Kwabs’ “Fight for Love,” Ella Eyre’s “Don’t Follow Me,” Kylie Minogue’s “Put Your Hands Up,” Mika’s “Staring at the Sun,” Clean Bandit’s “Real Love,” Betty Who’s “Better,” and M.O’s “Preach.”

His extensive resume boasts further works with fellow producers and songwriters including Knox Brown, Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Talay Riley, Natalia Hajjara, Jonny Coffer, Ina Wroldsen, Jack Patterson, Lucy “Pawws” Taylor, Justin Parker, Al Shux, Joel Compass, Francis “Eg” White, Martin Terefe, Wayne Hector, Scott “Babydaddy” Hoffman, and Benny Benassi.

Laura Dockrill teases new collaboration with Foxes

Laura Dockrill has teased a new collaboration with Foxes.

“Having such a good day writing with the actual spirit animal @iamfoxes,” the British performance poet, short story author, and songwriter tweeted.

Dockrill’s songwriting resume boasts works with JONES (“Becoming”), Courage x Lao Ra (“Wild at Heart”), Jessie Ware (“Sweet Talk”), Anne-Marie (“Karate”), Blonde x Ryan Ashley (“Foolish”), Javeon (“Give Up”) MNEK (“More than a Miracle”), Dornik (“Drive”) and Joker x Jessie Ware (“The Vision”).

She has also teamed up with producers including Future Cut, Andrew “Pop” Wansel, JProof, FLIP, Bradford Ellis, Josh Record, Tourist, Julio Bashmore, Two Inch Punch, Felix Joseph, and Jacob Attwooll.

Meanwhile, Foxes – real name Louisa Allen – is expected to drop her third album – featuring further contributions from Jim Eliot and Jonny Harris – later this year via Sign of the Times / Epic / RCA Records.

The still-untitled project follows 2016’s “All I Need,” which peaked to number twelve on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “Body Talk,” “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” “Better Love,” “Amazing,” and “Cruel.”

Fans of Dockrill’s songwriting works, on the other hand, should keep an eye on the next releases by Ava Lily, DAKOTA, Betsy, Dua Lipa, Karen Harding, Jorja Smith, JONES, Fanny Anderson, Liv Dawson, and Anne-Marie.

Foxes unveils music video for new single “Cruel”

Foxes has unveiled the music video for her new single online.

The British singer-songwriter posted the Olof Lindh-directed clip for “Cruel” to her Vevo channel on Friday (April 29, 2016).

“Cruel” was co-written by Kid Harpoon, whose other credits include Florence and the Machine’s “What Kind of Man” [Republic], Jessie Ware’s “Wildest Moments” [Island] and Christina Perri’s “Burning Gold” [Atlantic].

Production duties were handled by Mark Ralph, who is also behind AlunaGeorge’s “I’m in Control” [Island], Lion Babe’s “Where Do We Go” [Polydor] and Clean Bandit’s “Extraordinary [Atlantic].

Foxes’ latest studio collection “All I Need” – featuring previous singles “Body Talk,” “Better Love” and “Amazing” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Epic Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

Foxes shares “Devil Side” acoustic performance

Foxes has shared a new performance video online.

The singer-songwriter – real name Louisa Allen – posted an acoustic rendition of “Devil Side” to her Vevo channel on Sunday (February 07, 2016).

“Devil Side” was co-written and produced by Dan Wilson, whose other credits include Adele (“Someone Like You”), Taylor Swift (“Come Back … Be Here”), Pink (“The Great Escape”), and Rae Morris (“Unguarded”).

Foxes’ sophomore studio collection “All I Need” – featuring singles “Body Talk,” “Better Love” and “Amazing” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Epic Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

Other album songwriters include Babyface (Nathan Sykes), Kid Harpoon (Shakira), Hannah Robinson (Lana Del Rey), Fransisca Hall (Icona Pop), Jonny Lattimer (Izzy Bizu), Rick Nowels (Madonna), and Mozella (Tinashe).

Foxes has released a new song online.

“Wicked Love” – taken from the British singer-songwriter’s upcoming sophomore album “All I Need” – is now available for download via iTunes.

The track was written by Foxes along with Maureen “Mozella” McDonald (Charlie Puth, Pia Mia) and Rick Nowels (Lana Del Rey, Craig David).

Production duties were handled by Mark Ralph, whose other credits include Lion AlunaGeorge’s “I’m in Control” [Island], Lion Babe’s “Where Do We Go” [Polydor], and Years & Years’ “Eyes Shut” [Interscope].

As mentioned in earlier posts, “All I Need” – featuring previous singles “Body Talk,” “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” “Amazing” and “Better Love” – will hit stores on February 5 through Sign of the Times / RCA Records.

Foxes has previewed her upcoming sophomore album online.

The official sampler for “All I Need” – featuring singles “Body Talk,” “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” “Better Love” and “Amazing” – has been posted to the British singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Tuesday (January 05, 2016).

“All I Need” is scheduled to hit stores and online outlets on February 5 through Sign of the Times Records (UK) and RCA Records (US).

The follow-up to 2014’s “Glorious” delivers contributions from Babyface (Madonna), Kid Harpoon (Rihanna), Dan Wilson (Adele), Jim Eliot (Olly Murs), Rick Nowels (Craig David), and Jonny Lattimer (Ella Eyre).
