Ruth-Anne scheduled to release new music in 2018

Irish singer/songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, known mononymously as RuthAnne, is planning to release new music from her debut album in 2018.

Alongside record producers Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander, RuthAnne has co-penned songs for Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”) and Leona Lewis (“Perfection”).

Her extensive resume boasts additional songwriting works with Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”), Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”), Britney Spears (“Work Bitch”), Pixie Lott (“Broken Arrow”), Third Story (“G Train”), Jasmine V (“Jealous”), Zac Samuel (“Never Letting Go”), Nadine Coyle (“Running”), One Direction (“No Control”) and Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”).

In addition to Steinberg and Alexander, RuthAnne has also teamed up with top producers including TMS, Julian Bunetta, Chris Braide, MNEK, John Ryan, Toby Gad, Axident, Lucas Secon, Cutfather, Jonas Jeberg, Stephan Moccio, Malay, John Shanks, Alex Da Kid, Johnny Douglas, Two Inch Punch, Moon Willis, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, Al Shux, and Mojam Music.

Kenzie May teams up with Felix Joseph for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Kenzie May has recorded new music with Felix Joseph.

The record producer, songwriter, photographer, and art director is known for his works with Abi Ocia (“Konfyt”), Jorja Smith (“Beautiful Little Fools”), Cosima (“Hymns for Him”), Kwabs (“Perfect Ruin”), Ray BLK (“50/50”), Elli Ingram (“Canna Butter Kisses”), Birdy (“Take My Heart”) and JJ (“City Lights”).

May, on the other hand, is expected to release her debut project – featuring promotional single “Never Find Another” – later this year.

Among the other musicians May has worked with are Future Cut, Hannah Yadi, Blue May, KiTo, Natalia Hajjara, GRADES, Phil Cook, BURNS, Matt Parad, Nylo, Joel Compass, Nate Cyphert, Mike “Scribz’ Riley, Lucas Secon, Josh Wilkinson, Francis “Eg” White, and Cass Lowe.

On the songwriting front, May – born Mackenzie Bryant – has penned songs for Dua Lipa (“Worst Enemy”), FTSE (“Float”), Bronze Whale (“Hear Me”), Dionne Bromfield (“Get Loose”) and Race Banyon (“Surface”).

Blonde, Craig David premiere “Nothing Like This” music video

Blonde have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British deep house production duo posted the visual clip for “Nothing Like This” to their YouTube channel on Monday (April 18, 2016).

“Nothing Like This” – out now via iTunes – was written by Blonde members Adam Englefield and Jacob Manson along with the song’s vocalist Craig David.

Blonde’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous singles “Feel Good (It’s Alright),” “All Cried Out” and “I Loved You” – is expected to be released later this year through FFRR Records and Parlophone Records.

The still-untitled project boasts further contributions from Cass Lowe (Ella Henderson), Laura Dockrill (Jessie Ware), Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit), Lyrica Anderson (Tinashe), MNEK (Becky Hill) and Lucas Secon (Zak Abel).

Zak Abel announces new single “Everybody Needs Love”

Zak Abel has announced the title of his new single.

The British singer-songwriter christened “Everybody Needs Love” as the first promotional cut from his upcoming debut album under Atlantic Records.

“Everybody Needs Love” – available for download from April 1st via iTunes – was co-written by Ed Thomas (Sinead Harnett, Karen Harding) and Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai, All Saints).

Other musicians backing Abel on his still-untitled debut album are Lucas Secon (Jordin Sparks, Olly Murs), Thomas Jules (Rudimental, Anne-Marie) and Francis “Eg” White (Adele, Sam Smith).

Raye covers Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me”

Raye has shared a new cover video online.

The British singer-songwriter posted her rendition of Kendrick Lamar’s “Sing About Me” to YouTube on Tuesday (February 16, 2016).

Raye’s upcoming major-label debut project – featuring the BloodPop-produced “Tell Me” – will be released later this year through Polydor Records.

Moreover, she collaborated with top songwriters and producers including Labrinth, Emeli Sande, Bless Beats, Jin Jin, Wayne Wilkins, Jimmy Napes, MNEK, Chris Loco, Arnthor Birgisson, and Knox Brown.

On the songwriting front, Raye co-penned “All Cried Out” for Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield of UK house production duo Blonde along with Cass Lowe and Lucas Secon. The Alex Newell-featuring track peaked to number four on the UK Singles Chart.

Lucas Secon hints at new collaboration with Zak Abel, Thomas Jules

Lucas Secon has hinted at a new collaboration with Zak Abel and Thomas Jules.

“@ZakAbel @ThomasJules81 great record today,” the Danish record producer and songwriter tweeted on Monday (February 08, 2016).

Jules is a singer-songwriter signed to BMG Chrysalis and the lead touring vocalist for Rudimental. Moreover, he co-penned Rudimental’s “Love Ain’t Just a Word” [Asylum] and Anne-Marie’s “Do It Right” [Atlantic].

Meanwhile, Secon is responsible for co-writing / producing songs with Blonde (“All Cried Out”), Cheryl (“Goodbye Means Hello”), Kylie Minogue (“Get Outta My Way”), Olly Murs (“Cry Your Heart Out”), and Cody Simpson (“No Ceiling”).

Abel, on the other hand, will release his first studio collection – featuring the Eg White-assisted “Deserve to Be Loved” – later this year through Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records.

The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2015’s EP “ One Hand on the Future,” which delivered the Kaytranada-produced “Say Sumthin.”

Lion Babe have recruited Mark Ralph for their upcoming debut album.

The record producer and songwriter is known for helming Years & Years’ “Take Shelter” [Polydor], Clean Bandit’s “Extraordinary” f/ Sharna Bass [Atlantic] and Blonde’s “All Cried Out” f/ Alex Newell [Parlophone Records].

He also collaborated with top musicians including Kid Harpoon (Shakira, Florence Welch), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Ella Eyre), Lucas Secon (Trey Songz, Jordin Sparks) and Cass Lowe (Gabrielle Aplin, Sinead Harnett).

Meanwhile, Lion Babe are expected to release their first studio collection later this year through Outsiders Recorded Music in partnership with Polydor Records (UK) and Interscope Records (UK).

Current single “Impossible” – out now via iTunes – was written group members Jillian Hervey and Lucas Goodman along with Amanda Ghost, Joel Compass, Fred Cox, Linden Jay, and Lewis “Shift K3Y” Jankel.

Other album contributors include Pharrell Williams (Toni Braxton), Makeba Riddick (Beyonce), Jeff Bhasker (Alicia Keys), Andrew Wyatt (Charli XCX), MNEK (Kylie Minogue), Jin Jin (Little Mix) and Dave Sitek (Kelis).

Ginny Blackmore has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut album.

The New Zealand singer/songwriter is scheduled to release “Over the Moon” later this year through Sony Music Entertainment.

Blackmore wrote the album with record producers Aeon “Step” Manahan (Stan Walker, Alexandra Burke), Alan Nglish (CeeLo Green, Andreya Triana), Al Shux (Alicia Keys, Elle Varner) and Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez).

On the songwriting front, the “Bones” star has penned songs for Christina Aguilera [RCA], Pixie Lott [Virgin EMI], Adam Lambert [Warner Bros], Katharine McPhee [eOne Music] and Nicole Scherzinger [TBA].

Her extensive resume includes further works with musicians such as Future Cut, Dapo Tormiro, Celetia Martin, Kevin Randolph, Iain James, Mojam, Lucas Secon, Freddy Wexler, Maiday, Jonathan Lipsey, and Ben Harrison.

Blonde have unleashed the music video for their new single online.

The British deep house production duo posted the visual clip for “Feel Good (It’s Alright)” to their official YouTube channel on Friday (August 14, 2015).

“Feel Good (It’s Alright)” – now available for download via iTunes – delivers vocals from singer/songwriter Karen Harding, who’s currently putting the final touches on her first studio collection under Capitol Records.

The track was also co-written by Blonde members Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield along with MNEK, whose other credits include Rudimental (“Rumour Mill”), Madonna (“Hold Tight”) and Kylie Minogue (“Feels So Good”).

Blonde’s upcoming debut album – featuring previous hit singles “I Loved You” (with Melissa Steel) and “All Cried Out” (with Alex Newell) – is expected to hit stores and digital outlets later this year through Parlophone Records.

British singer/songwriter Raye has recorded new material Wayne Wilkins.

“Great way to spend Sunday making dope songs with @arayeofcolours at Ravenscourt Studios,” Wilkins posted to his Instagram account.

The record producer and songwriter is known for collaborating with the likes of Jordin Sparks [Larger Than Life Records], Natasha Bedingfield [Epic Records], Leona Lewis [Island Records] and Ryan Tedder [Interscope Records].

His notable credits include Cheryl’s “Crazy Stupid Love” [Polydor Records], Beyonce’s “Sweet Dreams” [Columbia Records], Keri Hilson’s “Energy” [Interscope Records] and Shontelle’s “T-Shirt” [Motown Records].

Meanwhile, Raye is expected to release her first project later this year under Universal Music Group / Polydor Records.

On the songwriting front, she co-wrote “All Cried Out” for UK deep house production duo Blonde (Jacob Manson and Adam Englefield) along with Lucas Secon. The Alex Newell-assisted track is now available for pre-order via iTunes (UK) in partnership with Parlophone Records.
