Lykke Li premieres music video for new single “Hard Rain”

Lykke Li has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The visual clip for “Hard Rain” was posted to the Swedish singer/songwriter’s Vevo channel on Tuesday (May 22, 2018).

Co-written and produced by fellow recording artist Rostam Batmanglij, “Hard Rain” appears on the Li’s upcoming fourth album, “So Sad So Sexy,” which will arrive on June 8 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The follow-up to 2014’s “I Never Lean” boasts further productions and songwriting contributions from Jonny Coffer, T-Minus, Jeff Bhasker, Ilsey Juber, Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk, and James “Malay” Ho.

Lykke Li unveils new promotional single “Utopia”

Lykke Li has unveiled her new promotional single online.

“Utopia” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Ilsey Juber, whose recent credits include Diplo’s “Stay Open,” Christina Aguilera’s “Accelerate,” Pia Mia’s “Off My Feet,” Kelly Clarkson’s “Meaning of Life,” and Camila Cabello’s “She Loves Control.”

Production duties on “Utopia” were collectively handled by James “Malay” Ho alongside Jonny Coffer, who is also responsible for Rita Ora’s “Girls,” Beyonce’s “Freedom,” Emeli Sande’s “Sweet Architect,” Plan B’s “Queue Jumping,” Rag’n’Bone Man’s “Skin,” and Naughty Boy’s “Runnin’ (Lose it All).”

Lykke Li’s upcoming fourth studio collection “So Sad So Sexy” – featuring previous promotional singles “Hard Rain” and “Deep End” – is scheduled to arrive on June 8 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

Lykke Li has confirmed the details for her upcoming album.

The Swedish singer/songwriter christened her fourth studio collection “So Sad So Sexy” and will release it on June 8 via LL Recordings / RCA Records.

Current promotional singles “Hard Rain” (produced by Rostam Batmanglij) and “Deep End” (co-written by Ilsey Juber and Stephen “Koz” Kozmeniuk with collective production duties from Jeff Bhasker, Malay, and T-Minus) are now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming outlets.

Lykke Li’s last album, 2014’s “I Never Learn,” peaked to number twenty-nine on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “No Rest for the Wicked,” “Gunshot” and “Never Gonna Love Again.”

Lykke Li has teamed up with Ilsey Juber for a new collaboration.

The American singer/songwriter is responsible for co-writing Mariah Carey’s “Infinity,” Britney Spears’ “Man on the Moon,” Fifth Harmony’s “Body Rock,” K. Michelle’s “If It Ain’t Love,” Beyonce’s “All Night,” Majid Jordan’s “My Love,” Bea Miller’s “Yes Girl,” Hey Violet’s “Guys My Age,” Keke Palmer’s “Figure You Out,” Tinashe’s “Flame,” Shawn Mendes’ “Mercy,” Dua Lipa’s “No Goodbyes,” and Martin Garrix’s “In the Name of Love.”

Juber’s resume boasts additional works with producers Fraser T. Smith, Wallpaper, Dan Wilson, Axident, Jonas Jeberg, Will IDAP, Matt Radosevich, JMike, Eric Hudson, Sir Nolan, Julian Bunetta, Diplo, Freddy Wexler, Jason Evigan, Louis Biancaniello, The Arcade, Noah “40” Shebib, DJ Mustard, Toby Gad, Big Taste, Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem, and CIRKUT.

The Canadian record producer and songwriter is known for his works with The Weeknd (“Earned It”), Miley Cyrus (“Wrecking Ball”), Celine Dion (“A New Day Has Come”), Seal (“Daylight Saving”), Jon Bellion (“Fashion”), Skylar Grey (“I Know You”), Ne-Yo (“Ballerina”) and Maty Noyes (“London”).

Moccio has also contributed to the next projects by Skrillex, Jennifer Lopez, Meghan Trainor, Stanaj, Julia Michaels, Tori Kelly, Jasmine Thompson, Conrad Sewell, Jessie Ware, Avery Wilson, Lea Michele, Dua Lipa, Emeli Sande, Labrinth, Clare Maguire, Kiesza, and James Blunt.

Emile Haynie drafts Lana Del Rey for new song “Wait for Life”

Emile Haynie has debuted a new song online.

The record producer and songwriter posted the “Wait for Life” audio clip to his official Vevo page on Monday (January 19, 2015).

“Wait for Life” features Lana Del Rey, who previously teamed with Haynie on “Born to Die” singles “National Anthem” and “Summertime Sadness.”

The track is slotted for inclusion on Haynie’s debut album, “We Fall,” which will be released on February 24 via Interscope Records. Other CD contributors include Devonte Hynes, Lykke Li, Nate Ruess and Andrew Wyatt.

On the songwriting and production front, Haynie has worked with Pink [RCA Records], Bruno Mars [Atlantic Records], Emeli Sande [Virgin EMI Records], Jessie Ware [Island Records] and Natalia Kills [Interscope Records].

His recent credits include Eminem’s “Guts Over Fear” featuring Sia [Shady Records / Interscope Records], Bleachers’ “Who I Want You to Love” [RCA Records] and FKA Twigs’ “Two Weeks” [Young Turks Recordings].

Lykke Li has confirmed the title of her new single.

The Swedish singer/songwriter dubbed “Gunshot” as the next promotional single from her latest album, “I Never Learn,” out now via Atlantic Records.

The track was written by Lykke Li and Bjorn Yttling along with Rick Nowels, whose credits include Lana Del Rey’s “West Coast” [Polydor / Interscope Records] and Dido’s “No Freedom” [RCA Records].

Production duties were handled by Lykke Li and Greg Kurstin, who is also responsible for Lily Allen’s “Hard Out Here” [Parlophone Records] and Beyonce’s “Standing in the Sun” [Parkwood Entertainment / Columbia Records].

“I Never Learn” serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Wounded Rhymes,” which debuted at number 37 on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and featured hit singles including “I Follow Rivers” and “Get Some.”
