M.O collaborates with MNEK for debut album

M.O. have collaborated with MNEK for their upcoming debut album.

The British singer, songwriter and record producer – real name Uzoechi Emenike – previously collaborated with Madonna (“Hold Tight”), Kylie Minogue (“Feels So Good”), Becky Hill (“Losing”) and Karen Harding (“Say Something”).

His resume includes additional works with Rudimental [Major Tom’s Music], Little Mix [Columbia Records], Melissa Steel [Atlantic Records], Tamera Foster [Syco Music] and Naughty Boy [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, M.O. – consisting of members Annie Ashcroft, Frankee Connolly and Nadine Samuels – are expected to release their highly-anticipated debut album later this year through Operator Records.

The still-untitled project will boast further alliances Starsmith (Kylie Minogue, Ellie Goulding), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Years & Years), Joel Compass (Lion Babe, FKA twigs) and Bless Beats (Jess Glynne, Tinie Tempah).

Jess Glynne unwraps debut album “I Cry When I Laugh” artwork

Jess Glynne has unwrapped the artwork for her upcoming debut album.

The British singer/songwriter christened her first studio collection “I Cry When I Laugh” and will release it on August 14th under Atlantic Records.

Current single “Hold My Hand” – written by Glynne along with Janee “Jin Jin” Bennett, Ina Wroldsen and Jack Patterson – is now available for download via iTunes (UK). The track peaked to number one on the UK Singles Charts.

Other album contributors are Knox Brown (Beyonce, Mary J. Blige), Emeli Sande (Rihanna, Alicia Keys), Jonny Coffer (Sam Smith, Conor Maynard), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Joel Compass) and Naughty Boy (Gabrielle, Alesha Dixon).

Fans of Glynne’s poignant songwriting should look out for the next projects by M.O. [Operator Records], Little Mix [Syco Music / Columbia Records] and Rita Ora [Roc Nation / Columbia Records].

The title track “I Cry When I Laugh” was helmed by Mustafa Omer and James Murray of songwriting and production duo Mojam (Craig David, Leona Lewis). However, it is not included on the album’s final tracklisting.

M.O premiere music video for new single “Preach”

M.O have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The British band posted the Kate Moross-directed clip for “Preach” to their Vevo channel on Tuesday (March 17, 2015).

“Preach” – available from April 26 – was co-written with Joel Compass (Lion Babe, FKA twigs) and Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne).

M.O’s debut album – featuring previous singles “Dance on My Own” and “For a Moment” – is scheduled for release later this year under Operator Records.

The still-untitled project boasts further collaborations with Two Inch Punch (Miguel, Sam Smith), Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj), Bless Beats (Jess Glynne, Melissa Steel) and Craze & Hoax (Emeli Sande, Mary J. Blige).

Jess Glynne works with Andrea Martin, Fraser T. Smith for debut album

British singer/songwriter Jess Glynne has drafted the Andrea Martin and Fraser T. Smith for her upcoming debut album.

Andrea Martin is known for co-writing Fantasia Barrino’s “Lose to Win” [RCA Records], Stooshe’s “See Me Like This” [Warner Bros. Records] and Naughty Boy’s “Think About It” [Virgin EMI Records].

Meanwhile, recent songwriting and production credits by Fraser T. Smith include “Kids Again” (performed by Example), “Ruffians on Parade” (performed by Kaiser Chiefs) and “Hearts without Chains” (performed by Ellie Goulding).

The still-untitled debut collection by Jess Glynne is expected to be released later this year via Black Butter Records.

She recently provided guest vocals for Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be”and Route 94’s “My Love,” as well as co-writing M.O.’s latest single “For a Minute.”

“For a Minute” – produced by Loadstar & Bless Beats – is lifted from the British group’s upcoming debut album with Operator Records.

The track was co-written by Jess Glynne, whose best known for featuring on “My Love” by Route 94 [Universal Music Group / Virgin EMI Records] and “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit [Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records].

M.O’s debut LP is confirmed to boast further collaborations with Craze & Hoax (Kwabs, Emeli Sande), Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Livvi Franc), Two Inch Punch (Lulu James, Sam Smith) and Karl Gordon (Jessie J, Shaznay Lewis).

M.O have unleashed their new single online.

The British trio – consisting of members Frankee Connolly, Annie Ashcroft and Nadine Samuels – posted “For a Minute” to their Official SoundCloud Page on Wednesday (February 27, 2014).

The track was co-written by Jess Glynne, whose best known for featuring on Clean Bandit’s chart topping single “Rather Be.”

Production duties were handled by Gareth “Bless Beats” Keane, who is also responsible for helming Wiley’s “Wearing My Rolex.”

M.O’s as-yet-untitled debut album – which will feature previous singles “Hot” and “On Ya” – is expected to be released later this year via Operator Records.

Among the musicians backing M.O on the project are Craze & Hoax (Leona Lewis, Emeli Sande), Two Inch Punch (Sam Smith, Jessie Ware), Parker Ighile (Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj) and Karl Gordon (Pixie Lott, Shaznay Lewis).

M.O have recruited Craze & Hoax for their upcoming debut album.

The British songwriting and production duo – Harry Craze and Hugo Chegwin – have previously collaborated with Naughty Boy [Virgin EMI Records], Tinie Tempah [Parlophone Records] and Emeli Sande [Capitol Records].

Some of their notable credits include “Nirvana” by Sam Smith [Capitol Records], “Picture” by Dot Rotten [Mercury Records], “Letter to My Boys” by Devlin [Island Records] and “Trouble” by Leona Lewis [Syco Music].

M.O – consisting of members Frankee Connolly, Annie Ashcroft and Nadine Samuels – are expected to release their debut LP later this year.

Other musicians backing the trio on the still-untitled project are Karl Gordon (Jessie J, Little Nikki), Timothy Bloom (V Bozeman, Chris Brown), Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Nicki Minaj) and Two Inch Punch (Ella Eyre, Lulu James).

“On Ya” – which serves as the follow-up to previous single “Hot” – is taken from the group’s upcoming as-yet-untitled debut album with Operator Records.

The track – produced by Slakah the Beatchild– has been uploaded to the group’s official YouTube page on Friday (6th December, 2013).

Their debut LP is confirmed to boast further productions from Karl “K-Gee” Gordon (Jessie J, Pixie Lott), Two Inch Punch (Javeon, Lulu James), Parker Ighile (Rihanna, Livvi Franc) and Timothy Bloom (Chris Brown, V Bozeman).

M.O. have recently recorded new material with Parker Ighile.

The multi-talented musician is known for co-writing and producing tracks including “Wonderful” by Angel [Island Records], “Piano” by Ariana Grande [Republic Records] and “What Now” by Rihanna [Def Jam Recordings].

He also worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj [Republic Records], Jessie J [Lava Records], Tinashe [RCA Records], Livvi Franc [Warner Bros. Records] and Conor Maynard [Parlophone Records].

M.O – consisting of members Nadine, Annie and Frankee – are currently gearing up for the release of their new single “On Ya,” which serves as the follow-up to previous cuts “Hot,” “Ain’t Got Time” and “Wait Your Turn.”

Their as-yet-untitled debut album is confirmed to yield further productions and songwriting contributions from Timothy Bloom (Chris Brown, Veronika Bozeman) and Karl “K-Gee” Gordon (Alesha Dixon, Pixie Lott).

The track was produced by Karl Gordon, who is known for collaborating with the likes of Jessie J [Universal Music Group / Republic Records] and Little Nikki [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records].

Other songwriters and producers backing M.O on the still-untitled project are Show N Prove, Woz, Preditah, Timothy Bloom and Prince Charles.
