Cashmere Cat reveals release date for new album “9”

Cashmere Cat has revealed the release date for his upcoming debut album.

The Norwegian DJ and record producer – born Magnus Hoiberg – will release “9” on April 28 via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

Current promotional single “9 (After Coachella)” – featuring Danish singer/songwriter MØ – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Other artists backing Cashmere Cat on “9” are Jhene Aiko (“Please Don’t Go”), Camila Cabello (“Love Invincible”), Selena Gomez (“Trust Nobody”), Ty Dolla $ign (“Infinite Stripes”), Ariana Grande (“Quit”), The Weeknd (“Wild Love”), Kacy Hill (“Europa Pools”) and Kehlani (“Night Night”).

The highly-anticipated project also boasts productions and songwriting contributions from Benny Blanco (Halsey), Cathy Dennis (Britney Spears), SOPHIE (Charli XCX), Frank Dukes (Lorde), Starrah (Nicki Minaj), Evian Christ (Tinashe) and Rock City (Keri Hilson).

Cashmere Cat reveals title for debut album

Cashmere Cat has revealed the title of his upcoming debut album.

The Norwegian DJ, record producer, musician and turntablist – born Magnus Hoiberg – christened his first studio collection “9” and will release it later this year via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

Current promotional single “9 (After Coachella)” – featuring Danish singer/songwriter MØ and London-based electronic music producer SOPHIE – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Among the additional tracks slotted for inclusion on “9” are “Love Incredible (f/ Camila Cabello),” “Wild Love (f/ The Weeknd and Francis & the Lights),” “Trust Nobody (f/ Selena Gomez & Tory Lanez),” “Throw Myself a Party (f/ Starrah, 2 Chainz & Tory Lanez),” and “Please Don’t Go (f/ Jhene Aiko).”

On the production front, Cashmere Cat’s resume boasts works with The Weeknd (“True Colors”), Britney Spears (“Just Luv Me”), Travis Scott (“Way Back”), Ariana Grande (“Be My Baby”), Kanye West (“Wolves”), Tinashe (“All Hands on Deck”), Kid Ink (“Body Language”), Ryn Weaver (“OctaHate”), Miguel (“Going to Hell”), Justine Skye (“Save My Soul”) and Gwen Stefani (“Hell Yeah Baby”).

Norwegian DJ, record producer, musician and turntablist Cashmere Cat has released his new single online.

“9 (After Coachella)” – featuring Danish singer/songwriter MØ and London-based electronic music producer SOPHIE – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by MØ – real name Karen Ørsted – alongside it’s producers Magnus “Cashmere Cat” Høiberg, Samuel “SOPHIE” Long, and Benjamin “Benny Blanco” Levin.

Cashmere Cat’s upcoming debut album – featuring singles “Love Incredible,” “Wild Love,” “Trust Nobody,” “Adore” and “Throw Myself a Party” – is expected to arrive later this year via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

Cashmere Cat enlists Camila Cabello for new single “Love Incredible”

Cashmere Cat has released his new single online.

“Love Incredible” – featuring guest vocals from Camila Cabello – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by siblings Theron and Timothy Thomas of Rock City, who also also responsible for Beyonce’s “All Night,” Usher’s “No Limit,” Dawin’s “Bikini Body,” Meghan Trainor’s “Thank You,” and Becky G’s “You Love It.”

Production duties on “Love Incredible” were collectively handled by Cashmere Cat – real name Magnus Hoiberg – alongside Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber) and SOPHIE (Madonna, Charli XCCX).

The Norwegian hitmaker’s first studio collection – featuring previous singles “Mad Love,” “Trust Nobody,” “Adore” and “Throw Myself a Party” – is expected to arrive later this year via Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

Cabello, on other hand, is currently working on her solo album under Epic Records with Andrew “Pop” Wansel (Kehlani, Alessia Cara), Frank Dukes (Rihanna, Kanye West) and Ammar Malik (Selena Gomez, The Weeknd).

Gwen Stefani has selected her new single.

The singer-songwriter christened “Make Me Like You” as the next promotional cut from her upcoming third album.

“Make Me Like You” was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who are also behind Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope], Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” [Def Jam], and Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [RCA].

Production duties were handled by Jonathan Rotem, whose other credits include Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Epic], Who is Fancy’s “Boys Like You” [Republic], Panic! at the Disco’s “Don’t Threaten Me with a Good Time” [Fueled By Ramen].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stefani’s forthcoming studio collection – featuring previous single “Used to Love You” – will hit stores and digital outlets later this year through Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly delivers further contributions from Mattman & Robin (Taylor Swift), Stargate (Britney Spears), Greg Kurstin (Adele), Benny Blanco (Ed Sheeran), and Cashmere Cat (Ariana Grande).

“Used to Love You” is slotted for inclusion on the singer/songwriter’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2006’s “The Sweet Escape.”

The track was co-written by Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter, who are also behind Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic], Selena Gomez’s “Good for You” [Interscope] and Nicole Scherzinger’s “Run” [Epic].

Production duties on “Used to Love You” were handled by Jonathan Rotem, who is also behind Fifth Harmony’s “Like Mariah” [Syco], Meghan Trainor’s “No Good for You” [Epic] and Nicki Minaj’s “Marilyn Monroe” [Republic].

As mentioned in earlier posts, Stefani is expected to release her forthcoming album – featuring previous singles “Baby Don’t Lie” and “Spark the Fire” – later this year through Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

The still-untitled LP reportedly boasts further alliances with Benny Blanco, Charli XCX, Cashmere Cat, Ryn Weaver, Calvin Harris, Sia Furler, Ryan Tedder, Noel Zancanella, Raja Kumari, Greg Kurstin, and Mattman & Robin.

Gwen Stefani hits the studio with Mattman and Robin for third album

Singer/songwriter Gwen Stefani has added Mattman and Robin to the list of contributors for her upcoming third album.

The songwriting and production duo – consisting of Mattias Larsson and Robin Fredriksson – recently helmed “Cake to the Ocean” by pop group DNCE.

Other notable credits by Mattman and Robin include Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” [Interscope], Hailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” [Republic] and Taylor Swift’s “All You Had to Do Was Stay” [Big Machine].

Meanwhile, Stefani is expected to release her next studio collection – featuring singles “Baby Don’t Lie” and “Spark the Fire” – later this year through Mad Love Records and Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2006’s “The Sweet Escape” reportedly delivers further alliances with Benny Blanco, Julia Michaels, Pharrell, Justin Tranter, Cashmere Cat, Sia, Ryan Tedder, Noel Zancanella, Ryn Weaver, and Greg Kurstin.
