Madonna premieres “Ghosttown” music video

Madonna has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The pop legend posted the visual clip for the Jonas Akerlund-directed “Ghosttown” to her Vevo channel on Wednesday (April 09, 2015).

“Ghosttown” was written by Madonna along with Jason Evigan (Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson), Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Christina Milian, Leona Lewis) and Sean Douglas (Meghan Trainor, Jason Derulo).

Production duties were handled by Madonna along with Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe, who also worked with Shakira (“Dare – La La La”), Britney Spears (“Hold It Against Me”) and Ellie Goulding (“In My City”).

Madonna’s latest album “Rebel Heart” – featuring previous promotional cuts “Living for Love” and “Devil Prey” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Live Nation and Interscope Records.

Other album contributors include Toby Gad (Brandy, John Legend), Mozella (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus), Ariel Rechtshaid (Sky Ferreira, Charli XCX), Symbolyc One (Beyonce, Tamar Braxton) and Diplo (Usher, Ariana Grande).

Nicki Minaj chooses “The Night is Still Young” as new single

Nicki Minaj has chosen her new single.

The rapper, singer and songwriter christened “The Night is Still Young” as the next promotional cut from her third album, “The Pinkprint,” now available for download via Cash Money Records and Republic Records.

“The Night is Still Young” was co-written by Ester Dean (Rihanna, Kelly Rowland) and Theron Thomas (Ciara, Jennifer Hudson), meanwhile production duties were handled by Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald (Ne-Yo, Katy Perry) and Henry “Cirkut” Walter (Usher, Britney Spears).

Minaj’s previous single “Only” – featuring Drake, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown – peaked at number twelve on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

The “Anaconda” star also features on the track “Bitch I’m Madonna,” taken from Madonna’s latest album “Rebel Heart” [Live Nation / Interscope Records].

Delilah writes song for Madonna’s new album “Rebel Heart”

Delilah has written a song for Madonna’s new album.

The singer/songwriter – born Paloma Stoecker – co-wrote “HeartBreakCity” along with Tobias Jimson, Arash Pournouri and Tim “Avicii” Bergling.

Madonna’s thirteenth studio collection “Rebel Heart” – featuring hit singles “Living for Love” and “Ghosttown” – is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Live Nation and Interscope Records.

In related news, Delilah is currently working on new material and may release her sophomore album later this year.

Her first studio collection, “From the Roots Up,” was released in 2012 via Warner Music Group imprint Atlantic Records. The project spawned hit singles “Love You So,” “Breathe,” “Inside My Love” and “Shades of Grey.”

She also worked with top producers and songwriters including Salaam Remi (Jordin Sparks, Mack Wilds), Reginald “Syience” Perry (Beyonce, Emeli Sande) and Chase & Status (Rihanna, Alexandra Burke).

Madonna has confirmed the title for her new single.

The singer/songwriter christened “Ghosttown” as the second promotional cut from her upcoming album, “Rebel Heart,” which will hit stores and digital outlets on March 10 via Live Nation and Interscope Records.

“Ghosttown” – now available for download via iTunes – was co-written by Evan “Kidd” Bogart (Beyonce, Leona Lewis), Jason Evigan (Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato) and Sean Douglas (Meghan Trainor, David Guetta).

Production duties on “Ghosttown” were handled by Madonna along with Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe, whose other credits include Shakira’s “Dare (La La La)” [RCA Records] and Ellie Goulding’s “In My City” [Polydor Records].

Previous promotional cut, the Diplo-produced “Living for Love,” which peaked to number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs.

Other musicians backing Madonna on the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA” are Toby Gad (Alicia Keys, John Legend), Mozella (Rihanna, Miley Cyrus), Ariel Rechtshaid (Usher, Charli XCX) and MNEK (Babyface, Kylie Minogue).

Madonna has premiered the music video for her new single online.

The legendary singer/songwriter posted the “Living for Love” visual clip to her official Vevo page on Friday (February 06, 2015).

“Living for Love” – which was written by Madonna along with Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, Alicia Keys, Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, Nick Rowe, Toby Gad, Ariel Rechtshaid and Thomas “Diplo” Pentz – is now available via iTunes.

Video treatment was handled by French duo Julien Choquart and Camille Hirigoyen, together known as J.A.C.K. It was edited by Danny B. Tull, styled by B. Akerlund and choreographed by Megan Lawson.

As mentioned in previous posts, Madonna’s next studio collection “Rebel Heart” will hit stores on March 9 via Live Nation and Interscope Records.

The follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA” features further collaborations with Kanye West (Beyonce, Janet Jackson), Ryan Tedder (Adele, Leona Lewis), DJ Dahi (Tinashe, Lily Allen) and Billboard (Britney Spears, Ellie Goulding).

Madonna has revealed the official tracklist for her upcoming thirteenth album.

The pop star will release “Rebel Heart” on March 9 via Live Nation Entertainment in partnership with Interscope Records.

Current single “Living for Love” – written by Madonna along with Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, Alicia Keys, Toby Gad, Ariel Rechtshaid, Nick Rowe and Thomas “Diplo” Pentz – is now available for download via iTunes.

“Rebel Heart” serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned hit singles “Give Me All Ur Lovin,” “Girl Gone Wild” and “Turn Up the Radio.”

The singer/songwriter posted the audio clip for “Living for Love” to her official YouTube page on Friday (December 19, 2014).

“Living for Love” was written by Madonna, Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, Alicia Keys, Toby Gad, Nice Rowe, Ariel Rechtshaid and Thomas “Diplo” Pentz.

The track appears on the artist’s thirteenth album, “Rebel Heart,” out on March 10, 2015 via Live Nation and Interscope Records.

“Living for Love,” “Devil Pray,” “Unapologetic Bitch,” “Illuminati” and the Nicki Minaj-assisted “Bitch I’m Madonna” are now available for download via iTunes (US) in partnership with Live Nation and Interscope Records.

Among the songwriters and producers on those tracks are Diplo, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Ariel Rechtshaid, Mathieu “Billboard” Jomphe, DJ Dahi, Symbolyc One, Toby Gad and Maureen “Mozella” McDonald.

As mentioned on iTunes, “Rebel Heart” is scheduled for release on March 10, 2015. The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

Madonna snags OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder for new album

Madonna has snagged the songwriting and production services of Ryan Tedder for her thirteenth album.

The OneRepublic frontman recently co-wrote and produced “Ghost” for British singer/songwriter Ella Henderson along with regular collaborator Noel Zancanella. The track peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

His resume also includes works for Taylor Swift (“Welcome to New York”), Leona Lewis (“Bleeding Love”), Adele (“Rumor Has It”), Beyonce (“Halo”), Ellie Goulding (“Burn”), Maroon 5 (“Maps”) and Gwen Stefani (“Baby Don’t Lie”).

Meanwhile, Madonna’s forthcoming studio collection will be released next year via Live Nation and Interscope Records. The still-untitled project serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “MDNA,” which spawned hit single “Give Me All Your Luvin.”

MNEK hits the studio with Sigma

MNEK is making new music with drum and bass duo Sigma.

There’s been no word on what the pair worked on last night, or whether the session was intended for a future Sigma release or MNEK’s debut album.

Sigma consists of members Cameron Edwards and Joe Lenzie. Their singles “Nobody to Love” – a rework of Kanye West’s “Bound 2” – and “Changing,” featuring Paloma Faith, debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Meanwhile, MNEK is scheduled to release his first studio collection in early 2015 via Virgin EMI Records (UK) and Cherrytree / Interscope Records (US).

He also confirmed placements on the next projects by Madonna [Interscope Records], Jojo [Atlantic Records], Little Mix [Columbia Records], Rudimental [Asylum Records] and Tamera Foster [Syco Music].

Some of his recent songwriting and / or production credits include “Losing” by Becky Hill [Parlophone Records], “Say Something” by Karen Harding [Capitol Records] and “Special” by Billon f/ Maxine Ashley [Virgin EMI Records].
