Rudimental confirm details for third album

Rudimental have confirmed the details for their upcoming album.

The British drum and bass band – composed of Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor, DJ Locksmith and Piers Agget – have christened their third studio collection “Toast to Our Differences” and will release it on September 7th via Major Tom’s Music in partnership with Asylum Records (UK) and Atlantic Records (US).

Current promotional single “Let Me Live” – featuring Major Lazer, Anne-Marie, and Mr. Eazi – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The follow-up to 2015’s “We the Generation” boasts further guest appearances from Jess Glynne, Dan Caplen, Raye, Maverick Sabre, Yebba, Kevin Garrett, Shungudzo, James Arthur, Raphaella, Maleek Berry, Ladysmith, and Chronixx.

Ellie Goulding reveals new song title from third album

Ellie Goulding has shared a new song title from her upcoming third album.

“Two Years” is slotted for inclusion on the British singer/songwriter’s next studio collection and follow-up to 2012’s “Halcyon” and 2013’s “Halcyon Days.”

The still-untitled project features productions from Max Martin (Adele, Celine Dion), Greg Kurstin (Pink, Lily Allen), Carl Falk (Madonna, Nicki Minaj), Diplo (Sia, Britney Spears) and Stephan Moccio (The Weeknd, Skylar Grey).

On the songwriting front, the “Burn” star has teamed up with Laleh Pourkarim (Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly), Mozella (Tinashe, Miley Cyrus), Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith, Alicia Keys) and Mikky Ekko (Rihanna, Christina Aguilera).

Furthermore, Goulding has recently provided guest vocals on the track “Powerful,” taken from Major Lazer’s latest album “Piece is the Mission,” now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Mad Decent Records.

Her international hit single “Love Me Like You Do,” taken from the original motion picture soundtrack “Fifty Shades of Grey,” peaked to number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

Major Lazer premieres music video for new single “Powerful”

Major Lazer have premiered the music video for their new single online.

The electronic music group – consisting of members Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire – posted the visual clip for “Powerful” to their official YouTube channel on Thursday (July 23, 2015).

“Powerful” – now available for download via iTunes – features vocals from British songbird Ellie Goulding and Jamaican artist Tarrus Riley.

The track was co-written by Thomas “Diplo” Pentz along with Maxime Picard, Clement Picard, Ilsey Juber, and Fransisca Hall.

Major Lazer’s latest album “Piece is the Mission” also includes previous promotional cuts “Lean On” (featuring DJ Snake and MØ), “Light it Up” (featuring Nyla), and “All My Love” (featuring Ariana Grande).

Meanwhile, fans of Diplo’s production and songwriting works should peep the next releases by Rita Ora [Columbia Records], Tinashe [RCA Records], Frank Ocean [Def Jam Recordings] and Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records].

Major Lazer have released the lyric video for their new single online.

The electronic music group – consisting of members Diplo, DJ Jillionaire, Walshy Fire, and Boaz van de Beatz – posted the lyrical clip for “Light it Up” to their official YouTube channel on Tuesday (June 09, 2015).

“Light it Up” features vocals from singer/songwriter Nyla, who used to be a member of Jamaican Reggae and R&B fusion duo Brick & Lace.

The track was co-written by Nyla – real name Nailah Thorbourne – along with Sidney Swift, Thomas “Diplo” Pentz, and Philip “Jr. Blender” Meckseper.

Major Lazer’s latest album “Piece is the Mission” is now available for download via iTunes in partnership with Mad Decent Records.

Among the other artists backing Major Lazer on “Piece is the Mission” are Elliphant [Kemosabe Records], Ariana Grande [Republic Records], Ellie Goulding [Polydor Records] and Wild Belle [Columbia Records].

Major Lazer have revealed the details for their new album.

The dancehall trio – consisting of members Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire – christened their next studio collection “Piece is the Mission” and will release it on June 1 via iTunes in partnership with Mad Decent.

Jamaican singer/songwriter Nyla Thorbourne is among the artists who will appear on the upcoming studio collection.

The former Brick & Lace member previously worked with Sean Paul on the Toby Gad-produced “Pornstar,” which appears on the dancehall star’s last studio album “Full Frequency” [Atlantic Records].

On the songwriting front, Nyla penned songs for Nicole Scherzinger [RCA Records], Christina Milian [Young Money Records], Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records] and Craig David [Universal Music Publishing Group].

Current single “Body Calling” – which was written by Thorbourne along with Jason Panton, Alwayne Harrison, Marlon Easy, and Nicolas Bourel – is now available for download via iTunes (US).

Rita Ora recruits Tommy Brown for new album

Rita Ora has recruited Tommy Brown for her upcoming sophomore album.

The songwriter and record producer – born Thomas Brown – previously collaborated with artists including Nas [Def Jam Recordings], Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records] and CeeLo Green [Elektra Records].

Some of his notable credits include Christette Michele’s “Visual Love” [Motown Records] Ariana Grande’s “Honeymoon Avenue” [Republic Records] and Kanye West’s “Sin City” [Roc-A-Fella Records].

Meanwhile, Ora’s new LP is scheduled for release later this year via Sony Music Entertainment / Roc Nation / Columbia Records.

The Calvin Harris-penned and produced lead single “I Will Never Let You Down” debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart.

Among the other musicians backing Ora on the highly-anticipated project are DJ Fresh (Ellie Goulding, Nicola Roberts), will.i.am (Leah McFall, Britney Spears), DJ Mustard (Rihanna, Charli XCX) and Diplo (Usher, Chris Brown).

Brooke Candy announces new mini-album “Opulence”

Brooke Candy has announced the details for her upcoming EP.

The rapper has dubbed her new collection “Opulence” and will release it on May 6 via Sony Music Entertainment / Monkey Puzzle / RCA Records.

Lead single “Opulence” was co-written by Sia Furler, who also worked on the next projects by Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records], Carly Rae Jepsen [Interscope Records], Labrinth [Syco Music] and Natasha Bedingfield [Epic Records].

Production duties were handled by Major Lazer’s frontman Diplo, who is also responsible for MØ’s “XXX” [RCA Records], Lil Wayne’s “Lay it Down” [Young Money Records], Mac Miller’s “Goosebumpz” [Rostrum Records].
