Kamille reunites with Wayne Hector for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Camille Purcell, known mononymously as Kamille, has reunited with fellow songwriter Wayne Hector for a new collaboration.

The pair previously teamed up on the Steve Robson-produced “You Don’t Know Love” and “Grow Up,” taken from Olly Murs’ 2016 album “24 HRS,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Hector’s recent songwriting credits include Steps’ “You Make Me Whole,” Emeli Sande’s “Highs & Lows,” Sunrise Avenue’s “I Help You Hate Me,” Little Mix’s “Nothing Else Matters,” Taya’s “When You’re Sober,” Carly Rae Jepsen’s “First Time,” Kaiser Chef’s “Sunday Morning,” and Jones’ “Til We Get There.”

Meanwhile, Kamille’s upcoming debut project – featuring contributions from Chris Loco, BullySongs, Two Inch Punch, MYKL, Dantae Johnson, and RITUAL – is expected to arrive early next year via Virgin EMI Records.

Her current promotional single “Body” – which was produced by Frank Nobel and Linus Nordstrom of Goldfingers – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

On the songwriting front, Kamille has contributed to the next releases by Rudimental, Anne-Marie, Ella Henderson, Louisa Johnson, Bebe Rexha, Rihanna, Era Istrefi, Lewis Capaldi, David Guetta, Calum Scott, Fleur East, Jess Glynne, Ella Eyre, Louis Tomlinson, Tamera Foster, and 5 After Midnight.

Rita Ora releases Fifty Shades Darker track “Kiss Me”

Rita Ora has released her new single.

“Kiss Me” is now available on the Target edition of the original motion picture soundtrack, “Fifty Shades Darker.”

The track was co-written by Herbert “Herbie” Crichlow, whose other credits include Zayn Malik’s “TiO,” Alexandra Burke’s “Gotta Go,” Robyn’s “Do You Know What it Takes,” and Stefanie Heinzmann’s “Diggin’ in the Dirt.”

Production duties on “Kiss Me” were collectively handled by MYKL (Craig David, Ava Lily) and Twice As Nice (Rihanna, Ariana Grande).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Ora’s highly-anticipated sophomore studio collection will arrive later this year via Atlantic Records UK.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts productions from Stargate (Katy Perry), Jake Gosling (Harry Styles), Digital Farm Animals (Liam Payne), Johnny McDaid (James Blunt) and Leon Thomas (Zendaya).

On the songwriting front, Ora has teamed up with EYELAR (Charli XCX), Jason Boyd (K. Michelle), Ed Sheeran (Jessie Ware), Ali Tamposi (Selena Gomez), Brian Lee (Fifth Harmony), Diana Gordon (Beyonce), Chelcee Grimes (Calvin Harris), Jin Jin (Jess Glynne), Andrew Watt (Justin Bieber).

Ella Henderson hits the studio with MYKL for sophomore album

Ella Henderson has added Make You Know Love (aka MYKL) to the list of contributors for her upcoming sophomore album.

The songwriting and production duo – consisting of Anthony and Michael Hannides – are known for collaborating with Zayn Malik on hit single “Pillow Talk,” which topped the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart.

They also co-wrote and produced Craig David’s “Louder Than Words,” taken from the artist’s latest studio collection, “Following My Intuition,” which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.

Henderson, on the other hand, will release the follow-up to “Chapter One” in 2017 via Simon Cowell’s Sony imprint Syco Music.

The still-untitled project reportedly boasts further songwriting contributions from Camille Purcell, Rachel Rohan, Caroline Ailin, Emily Warren, Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, Sam Romans, Philip Plested, and Claude Kelly.

On the production front, Henderson has teamed with Dallas Austin, Cass Lowe, Parker Ighile, Fraser T. Smith, Jason Evigan, GRADES, Jez Ashurst, Electric, Jonny Coffer, Isa Machine, Steve Mac, Johan Carlsson, and Mac & Phil.

DAKOTA teams up with Amy Wadge for debut album

DAKOTA has teamed up with Amy Wadge for her upcoming debut album.

Wadge is known for co-writing “Thinking Out Loud,” taken from Sheeran’s sophomore album “x.” The Jake Gosling-produced track topped the UK Singles Chart and peaked to number two on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Moreover, she co-wrote “Make it Back to Me” for former X Factor contestant Ben Haenow along with the song’s producer Jonathan “J.R.” Rotem. The track appears on the Haenow’s self-titled debut album under Syco Music.

DAKOTA, on the other hand, is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring “Lonely Like a Fool” – later this year through 70Hz Recordings.

The still-untitled project delivers further contributions from Fraser T. Smith (Adele), Jamie Scott (Craig David), Ed Drewett (Dua Lipa), Josh Record (Ella Henderson), Laura Dockrill (Karen Harding) and MYKL (Zayn Malik).

DAKOTA has drafted Jamie Scott for her upcoming debut album.

Scott’s songwriting and production resume includes works with One Direction (“Infinity”), Christina Perri (“Be My Forever”), The Vamps (“Wild Heart”) and Colbie Caillat (“If You Love Me Let Me Go”).

He also contributed to the next projects by Ella Henderson [Syco Music], Jessie Ware [Island], The Beach [RCA] and Tom Odell [Columbia].

Meanwhile, DAKOTA is expected to release her first studio collection – featuring “Lonely like a Fool” – later this year through 70Hz Recordings.

Moreover, Dockrill and Record have collectively contributed to the next projects by Dua Lipa [Warner Brothers], Karen Harding [Capitol], Ann-Marie [Atlantic], Ella Henderson [Syco] and Ava Lily [Virgin].

DAKOTA has shared a new song online.

The British singer-songwriter posted an exclusive live performance of “Lonely like a Fool” to her YouTube channel on Friday (March 11, 2016).

DAKOTA previously provided guest vocals on Jonas Blue’s “Fast Car,” which peaked to number two on the UK Singles Chart.

She is also working on her upcoming debut album under 70Hz Recordings with the likes of Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Leona Lewis), Ed Drewett (Craig David, Fleur East) and Make You Know Love (Snakehips, Zayn Malik).
